I probably should have done this in multiple posts, but here are my random thoughts while reading Crooked Kingdom.

Alright starting off with a bang, I like it. Poor Ratvenko :( I hope he doesn't get drugged. And what was the winged person? Was it a Grisha or something else? Who is it working for? Van Eck?

Wylan, I really don't think Kaz was joking in any way about what he said would happen to the little girl, her family, or the dogs. When it comes to saving Inej I don't think there's anything he wouldn't do to make sure he gets her back. Which is super sweet and scary.

Look at Inej trying to escape and of course it was a set up.

Shit! For a second I thought she was gonna lose a leg 😬😳

Of course Jesper can't meet his father without a gun fight breaking out. 😅😅😅

Jesper: Look at you, asking all the right questions.

Nina summoned dust? But it's a Fabrikator thing? Was there someone else there? I hope she's able to beat the parem.

Damn! For a second I thought Van Eck had outsmarted Kaz, but I should have known better. Van Eck doesn't care about Wylan, but he cares a lot about his pregnant wife. Inej is right. He practically challenged Kaz to kidnap her.

Holy smokes batman! That exchange was a little intense. Of course nothing Van Eck came up with to double cross Kaz would work 😆

But shit. What are the Shu doing to the Grisha? Are those Grisha? Is someone else experimenting on them? I thought I read in Six of Crows that someone was trying to combine metal with Grisha, but I can't remember who mentioned it or who they were talking about. 🤔🤔🤔 Were they talking about the Shu? Why are the Shu collecting Grisha?

Okay so they're not Grisha and now I'm thinking it was mentioned in Shadow and Bone, not Six of Crows, but damn! They got some wolverine shit going on. 😳😳😳

Talking about the sugar plan and Kaz mentions a net for Inej. He wants her to be safe ❤️❤️❤️

HOLY SHIT! When people are in danger and it changes POVs I tend to read faster to get back to them, but I can't do that when they're ALL IN FUCKING TROUBLE. My heart can't take this. The only upside is I know Pekka Rollins is behind it...not that that is really an upside. I gotta go find out what happens to EVERYONE.
