FIRST IMPRESSIONS! gekko x f!reader ✴ fluff!! no warnings!

[note!!] ↳ i apologize for taking so long with requests, i was just overwhelmed and flooded with so many and then uni got super chaotic but we made it! merry christmas / happy holidays!

mateo’s introduction to the protocol went as smooth as being introduced to by reyna could go. he’s not sure exactly what she said to get him in, as it seemed to be pretty exclusive and he’s not entirely sure if he has the professionalism they were looking for.

he doesn’t, but they don’t seem to mind. well, brimstone has complained here and there about how difficult the boy was to reach, he never answered his phone or replied to his texts but the motherfucker was always on tiktok whenever the protocol held meetings.

he got away with a lot by practically being reyna’s little brother, everyone was too scared to do anything to reprimand the boy. other than viper of course, nothing scared that woman it seemed.

being one of the younger agents, and the newest, left him anxious, but as time went on, he’s gotten his own seat at the table. he knew what the first day jitters felt like, how everything was intimidating, and he had already known reyna prior and she still kind of scares him so he can’t imagine how intimidating the woman would be to you.

brim asked beforehand if anyone wanted to step up and show you the ropes, before gekko even had the chance to volunteer, almost every head in the room turned to him anyway.

“i’d be honored.” he bowed dramatically, turning to harbor, “i’ll make you proud coach!”

he didn’t. not because he was a bad coach necessarily, he just couldn’t get a proper sentence out without bumbling like a fool.

the new agent was really pretty, and mateo’s had crushes before in the past but nothing like this, where the moment he looked at her he felt the carpet pull out from under him.

nobody else seemed affected by your beauty, even chamber seemed too occupied with his work to ogle at you. the knowing looks from jett and phoenix only made him more flustered as he knew his attraction to you was written all over his face.

neon and raze were stifling laughter, watching his sad attempt at demonstrating how to defuse a spike.

“s-so yeah um .. after y’know c-clearing corners and stuff you uh… um usually brim will c-comm? yeah he’ll comm us uh let us know the game plan.” he clears his throat, looking down at his hands and shaking his head in an attempt to clear out his thoughts.

you watched him with such a kind expression on your face, it was almost a little infuriating how good you were at maintaining eye contact with him, mateo feels like he might die of heatstroke with how hot his face has become.

you notice how nervous he is and hesitantly reach for him, placing your hand on his shoulder.

“hey i know we just met and all, but i promise i'm not gonna kill you…” an awkward laugh accompanied your words, and you couldn’t hide some of the hurt in your voice. why was he so terrified of you? “i’m not! scared of you or anything-“

“did i do something that made you uncomfortable?”

“no! nothing like that you’re just uh..” he looks around the room, relieved when he sees the others seemed to have moved on from watching his horrible teaching skills.

he glances at his critters, dizzy curled up as always in slumber, wingman on the couch waving his arms excitedly in support of his train of thoughts.

he breathes deeply, before finally meeting eyes with you.

“you’re just really pretty.” he says, without stuttering, or losing eye contact, and the intensity of it all leaves a red hot flush to climb up your neck and up to your cheeks.

“o-oh.” you stutter, mind going a mile a minute because what the fuck do you even say to that? you just met him, but you can’t deny how attractive he is too. you bite back a smile and look down in embarrassment.

“thank you… that’s sweet of you to say.”

“yeah but i just made things weird.”

“no you didn’t, things don’t have to be weird if we don’t make it weird.” you reassure, nudging his shoulder.

“now you said something about brim giving comms, do we wait for an OK before defusing or should we defuse as soon as we reach the site?”

he was grateful for the change in topic, and with that finally off his chest he was able to finally get his wavering voice back under control.

“yeah so he’ll comm with the OK; if everything is clear and it’s safe to defuse then go for it and regroup before evacuating.”

your first mission goes surprisingly well, gekko at your side through the whole thing, watching your back with every corner you turned and alerting you of enemies you missed before taking care of them himself.

he was the perfect partner anyone could ask for really, so when the other agents were hyping you up for your performance you couldn’t help but redirect the praise to mateo.

every mission went on like that, a success, the two of you made an incredible team. it wasn’t until six months later, on one of the biggest missions you’ve yet to go on, that you really showed the other agents in the protocol just how much you’ve grown.

“that quick scope was insane even reyna was impressed!” phoenix says over the sound of his comrades whooping and cheering you on.

“who knew our new agent would be our new little prodigy?” jett cooed, pinching at your cheeks. you swat her hand away, laughing at her teasing.

“nah it was all gekko and really i wouldn’t have gotten off that shot without dizzy and the spike wouldn’t have been defused without wingman. i just have the best coach, right ‘teo?” you turn to look at him and he grins, throwing an arm over your shoulder and pulling you into a side hug.

“of course hermosa, with me showing you the ropes you’ll kick everyone’s ass, radiant or not.”

his little compliment left you flustered, quick to hide your face into his neck, before feeling the vibrations of his laughter rumbling against his chest. he tilts his head down to peek at you,

“why’re you hidin’ chica?” he smirks knowingly, you were always so easy to fluster, it was incredibly endearing.

he pouts his lips out in a kissy face, laughing when you groan and roll your eyes at him.

the other agents watch silently as the two of you, almost in your own world, tease and bicker with each other back and forth, mateo’s arms still wrapped around your waist.

“i dunno why i let you take all the glory for our missions, i’m gonna stop being humble-“

“you? humble? chalè chica have you met yourself?” his words are all bark no bite, if the grin on his face was any indication.

you stuck your tongue out at him, and he sticks his right back, blowing a raspberry in your face and laughing when you yell and swat at him for spitting on you.

jett and neon share a knowing look, they bet on how long it’d take for the two of you to get together, and neon couldn’t hide the smirk on her face.

“not too late to forfeit~”

“no way, they’ve been dancing around each other like this for months im telling you they’re both too dumb to do anything for at least another two months-“

“yea like how it took you and phoenix two years to finally confess to each other?” she teased before quickly ducking the fist jett sent her way.

“wish someone would look at me like that.” chamber mutters, glancing over at viper who whistles absently, busying herself with some papers on her desk that suddenly need to be reorganized.

“can you let me go now?” you whined at him, giving him your most promising pout, he tilted his head in faux consideration, before shrugging,

“nah. don’t want to.”

“so you’re just gonna hold me hostage here?”

“don’t act like you don’t love it.”

“i don’t, you spat on me.”

“okay and you drooled on me on the way back to base-“

“shut up! you were the one who insisted i slept on your shoulder-“

“yeah because i didn’t wanna deal with you whining later about your neck hurting-“

“teo, let me go so i can punch you.”

“no can do, hermosa.”

“i’ll knee you in the balls.”

he pouts again, debating if he should free you from his embrace, before he gets the chance to, you lean forward on your tiptoes and plant an obnoxious smooch on his lips, prying yourself free from him when he loosens his grip in surprise.

“HA!” you laugh maniacally, running away from the boy who was already chasing you,

“oh so that’s how you’re gonna play huh?” he yells, ignoring brimstone who is shouting at the two of you to stop running around HQ.

“did you not just see what she did!” he whines like a child, glaring at neon and jett who are trying to stifle their laughter to no avail.

you run and hide behind raze and killjoy on the couch, catching your breath, you peek your head over and spot mateo,

“you’re harboring a criminal, release her.” he declares to the couple, and raze rises, holding her arms out in front of you, blocking you away from gekko.

“you gotta get through me first.” she stands firm, winking at killjoy who only rolls her eyes at the idiocy happening before her.

“can you guys take this fight back to the playground please?” she asks, turning over on the couch to look down at you. you hold your finger to your lips, a dramatic sh! the only response offered to her.

she tries to flick your forehead but you are quick to swat her hand away, earning a snort from the engineer before she turns to sit forward on the couch.

“what are her crimes even?” killjoy asks and you feel your face burning before mateo even opens his mouth.

“i was holding her hostage in a hug and she kissed me to escape-“

“oh god gross-“ raze’s arms falter.

“are you two fucking serious?” neon says in fake disgust.

“ew guys get a room-“ killjoy remarks with a loud groan.

“GROSS!” chamber shouts from across the room.

with you defenseless, mateo is quick to dive over the couch, grabbing you and throwing you over his shoulder in one fell swoop.

he ignores your shouts and demands to be put down as he carries you away to an empty meeting room, closing the door behind him with his foot before setting you down with a mischievous smirk on his face.

“look at the scene you caused, mensa. now everyone knows about your dirty little tricks.” he had you pushed up against the door, his face incredibly close to yours, and you were suddenly grateful he had carried you off like that, away from the eyes of your comrades who probably have an idea of what’s going on back here anyways.

the close proximity leaves you flustered, but the competitive side of you can’t seem to back down to mateo.

“didn’t expect you to get so worked up over a little kiss, you got a crush on me or something?” you teased, sounding more confident than you actually felt.

he leans closer, lips nearly touching yours before gliding upwards and caressing the shell of your ear.

“maybe i do, but the thing is cariño…” his lips trail down your cheek, stopping right over yours, “i think you like me too.” he breathes a laugh against you and it sets you aflame, your heart pounding incessantly in your chest.

“should i kiss you this time and find out?” his lips are centimeters away from your own, his hands that are now cupping your jaw tilt your head upwards to brush against his lips, a gasp slipping past them to which he chuckles amusedly at.

the anticipation of his touch practically eating you alive at this point, how desperate you are to feel his lips against yours again.. you swallow, biting back your pride before nodding,

“please… ‘teo-“

his lips are against yours in an instant, eager and passionate, moving with a desperation you hadn’t anticipated. you reach up to pull him closer by the neck, kissing him back with just as much passion and fervor.

he bites down on your lip, smirking against you when you whine and open up for him, he’s quick to use the opportunity to slip his tongue in to taste you properly.

sweet like saccharine, he couldn’t get enough, the feeling of your tongues intertwined has him dizzy, his brain short-circuiting.

he can’t believe he’s finally kissing you, finally tasting the lips he’s been craving since the day he first laid eyes on them.

you whine his name, muffled in between kisses as he sucks particularly hard on your tongue, leaving you breathless and desperate for air.

prying the boy off of you, you finally manage to catch your breath, panting harshly against him as he smirks at you.

“yeah you definitely like me, ‘please teo!’ he mocks and you hide your face in his neck, groaning and punching him lightly on the chest.

“you’re such an ass mateo."

Type: Headcanons/Fluff

Warnings: Some threats, cursing, zapping things, insecurities (idk is this a warning?? Maybe can trigger smthng)

Characters: Jett, Killjoy, Skye, Neon, Fade, Chamber, Yoru

Jett - 8/10

"Hello! I'm jealous, what's your name?" type.

Even though she has no intention of keeping you to herself, seeing other people make you laugh gets on her nerves.

How can they make you happy like her? Isn't she enough for you?

Did they have to talk to you all the time? Couldn't they find another friend?

She knows that you're the perfect thing in the world but you're in love with her, right????

She wants to take you away from that person as soon as possible but she cannot do anything unless you are uncomfortable.

She's the secret insecure girlfriend, trust me.

She feels terrible when she sees you talking and joking with someone else closely.

Of course she knows that you love her, but she can't help her insecurities.

But if someone was flirting with you in a way that made you uncomfortable, she would have no reason to feel insecure. She got a reason to beat them up.

She would come up to you quickly and get between you and the person who made you uncomfortable.

"It's not nice to meet you at all, if you want to ask anything you can ask me 'cause you're bothering them. And I really don't like that."

A very protective girlfriend, she can't stand anyone bothering you.

Killjoy - 3/10

"I don't have time for that, have fun." type.

It doesn't bother her that you talk or spend more time with others because she gets pretty busy.

She also thinks it would be selfish if she wanted to keep you by her side all the time while she was working.

However, if you spend time with others when she needs love and attention, she will not say anything, but will feel your absence.

If she needs you to be with her, she'll snuggle and distract you while you talking with your friends.

"You can talk to them later, I missed you."

If she notices someone flirting in a way that makes you uncomfortable, she won't be angry but find it ridiculous.

It's pretty obvious that you didn't like these trash pick-up lines, why would someone who wanted you keep doing things you didn't like? It's not a way to get you!

She wouldn't just watch though, it was child's play for her to drive away someone who was bothering you.

While the other person was talking to you, she would hold your hand and drive you away.

She shows them that she didn't care about what they're doing, she can take you somewhere whenever she want.

If they have a courage to shout behind you, Killjoy's turret would appear in front of them, marking them as enemies.

"Don't worry, they weren't got any severe wound. Just a few scratches~"

Skye - 2/10

"Did you have fun with them? Then, that's good!" type.

Skye is someone who can get along pretty well with your friends, I'm sure they'll love her and respect her.

She loves seeing you smile so she don't have any problem with them, you can have fun with anybody who you trust!

She can even take them for a walk in the mountains if they want.

If she wanted to spend time alone with you, she would playfully tell the person next to you that she have to pick you up for very very important thing!

What? Quality times with your lover is really important thing! Don't underestimate these things please!

"Sorry to interrupt but I have to pick you up for a while (Y/N). I think it will not be a problem for you. Right, mate?"

Other than that, if someone was flirting in a way that made you uncomfortable, she definitely wouldn't like it.

At first, she only warns them verbally. After all, nobody wants a fight in the public, right?

Are they ignore her and keep bothering you? Now I guess they want a fight with this nature girl!

"I suggest you get away from them or I'll have no hesitation in ruining that pretty face of yours."

Try to calm her down because she's not saying these words to scare them!

Neon - 5/10

"I'm not jealous, I just don't trust them." type.

She really doesn't trust your friends. It doesn't matter what kind of person they are.

When Neon meets a friend of yours for the first time, She may not get along well with your friends because she is a very outspoken person.

If she doesn't like any of their features, she won't be very nice to your friend.

Your friend's speech style, appearance, voice, behavior... can be anything. If she didn't like them, she can't be polite to them.

She cares a lot about how they treat you. She won't stay silent when something bad is said to you, even if it's a joke.

"If you think you can do better than them, I insist you to try."

Someone make you uncomfortable around her? Is this a joke? Are they trying to die?

She may complain about her inability to control her powers, but she thinks it can be useful at times like these.

So please stop her or she'll gonna zap them with no hesitation.

"I don't want to hurt you, I want to hurt them! How can they dare to act you like that!?"

Any disrespect to the person Neon loves will not be forgiven. They can try her if they want to get zapped that badly.

Fade - 3/10

"Have fun. If you looking for me, I'm here." type.

She's usually don't care about your friend activities.

BUT please don't forget about her too, she doesn't want you to forget her from spending too much time with your friends.

She never talk about this, but it gets easier after a while to understand that she is upset.

She doesn't want to seem selfish, she's very loyal to you, so she knows you'll treat her with the same loyalty.

She loves listening to you tell her what you did with your friends during the day when you get home.

"You look pretty happy, balım (honey in turkish), what did you do today?"

If someone is talking or acting in a way that makes you uncomfortable, it's something that will bother her too.

She already knows that you are loyal to her, so she doesn't care at first.

But things change completely if she realizes that you're just uncomfortable with it and you can't push that person away.

She's coming to be their nightmare!

"Should I torture you or you're just gonna run away?"

She's already a scary woman with her everything so that's too easy for her. You're completely safe with her <3

Chamber - 3/10

"You're going out? That's good, I'm a little busy here." type

He's like Fade, he don't care about your friends and your friend activities.

But he wants to be your number one priority.

If you have scheduled a date with him, but later say that you promised to go somewhere with your friends, he will not like it at all.

You had to do it to your friends, not him!

He cares about his quality time with you so he woldn't let anybody to distract you.

"Please ignore them for this night, ma chérie (darling in french). You're with me right now."

Is someone bothering you? In a few seconds, the guards would have taken that person away from you.

Chamber doesn't like to get his hands dirty for those who will waste his time, it's more elegant to play by the rules.

"Don't worry, ma chérie. They won't be able to approach you again, I promise."

Yoru - 10/10

"Why should I share you? They can find a new friend." type.

Don't get me wrong; he's just a jealous, not a restrictive one. Of course you can do anything with your friends.

Buuut he didn't likes them at all.

Most of the time, Yoru is the cause of misunderstandings.

It's not about your friends, he didn't like to see another agent with you too but he's not talking about that.

Like Chamber, he wants to be your number one priority no matter what happens.

He always has an excuse to keep you around so be prepared!

HATES to admit that he's jealous. You can't never him hear to say that he's jealous.

"Totally bullshit! I'm not jealous! Are you lose your mind? Why would I be!?"

I don't know Yoru, why would you be?

He's already a jealousy type, he can't stand if he sees that someone bothers you in a bad way.

It's just a toy for him to get his nerves for a while.

Just like a punching bag.

Please stop him or he will start a big physical fight in public.

"I was looking for a someone to fight. Good to see you, asshole!"

Close Call (Yoru x Reader)

Prompt: Yoru’s emotions slip out after you two injure yourselves on a mission.

Word Count: 532

• Always able to hold your own on missions, Yoru never really has to worry about you.

• Instead he’ll just smirk knowingly, his chest swelling confidently every time he sees you out-manoeuvre the enemy.

• Sometimes this gets him in trouble and you have to scold him about watching his own back, gunning down an enemy about to flank him from behind.

• But timing is everything, and you were a fraction of a second too late. When a bullet hits him, your priority is getting him to safety - even if you have to drag his prideful ass kicking and screaming to Sage.

• You didn’t expect him to return so soon. Yet later on that same mission when you find yourself low on energy and cornered by an adversary, you hear a flurry of bullets and have just enough time to shield your eyes as a familiar blue fragment explodes at an angle off a nearby wall.

• When you open them again, Yoru’s standing in front of you protectively. “Anyone else?” He’d snarl, just daring them to test him as they slowly backed off.

• Following that encounter, he’s gruffer than usual toward you.

• If you could walk, he’d pull you to safety by the arm, leaving you tripping over your feet to keep up with him.

• If you couldn’t walk, he’d sling you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and stride off, ignoring your protests all the while.

“For the last time, I’m fine.”

Back at headquarters, you slumped against the mirrored counter tiredly as you watched Yoru pull a white t-shirt over his muscled torso. Having patched him up moments before, you were relieved to see him looking better after rescuing you from an ambush. You’d been fired up from adrenaline in helping him heal and bringing him to Sage to speed up the process that you hadn’t felt the effects of your own casualties until now.

“Can I check your wounds again?” You asked.

“No,” came his growled response. “You’ve taken care of mine and now you’re going to let me check yours.”

“I swear I’m fine-”

“Shut up!” His rough voice caused you to fall silent. “Don’t lie to me,” he ground out.

He strode over to you, closing the gap between you two in a second. Pulling you into his strong arms with such force that he had in fact lifted you off the surface, he dipped his head to capture your lips in an almost bruising kiss. You gasped audibly at his unexpected move, your lips moving together in an almost frantic, passionate dance. One hand behind your head, the other around your waist, he pulled you impossibly close, as though he couldn’t be close enough, causing you to wrap both your arms around his neck in reciprocal need.

He broke away briefly, allowing you to catch your breaths as he pressed his forehead against yours.

“I almost lost you tonight,” his eyes were squeezed shut at the prospect, his voice pained. “Dying is for other people. Just let me take care of you.”

Mind hazy and overcome with emotions, you nodded wordlessly as you melted into one another.

brim gets you socks. theyre good socks.

sova gives you a stuffed animal, like an owl or a rabbit.

breach gives you this long ass speech about getting older, getting stronger, etc.

neon and raze both make a mixtape for you, it’s really easy to tell who added which song because of their music tastes lol

kay/o doesn’t know what to get you. he’s confused. do robots even have birthdays???

reyna also somehow knows what to get you?? she gives some good ass gifts.

fade would give you a cat if she could, she has like 5 in her room. if she can’t give you one then she lets you into her room to pet them for the day.

you best BELIEVE these guys are taking you out, no way ur spending ur birthday in headquarters.

because phoenix is canonically a theatre kid i feel like he’d get you tickets to a play or a movie.

jett, neon, and kj take you to the arcade, kj gets kicked out because she’s winning the claw machine a suspicious amount of times.

she didn’t break it she’s just really good

they definitely all take you out to lunch and/or dinner and theres definitely a party at hq

sage bakes a birthday cake, this woman can BAKE its so good.

being protocol's "little sibling"

notes: the agents are sorted into categories based on how i thought they would act (you can talk about how i did in the comments), some have special headcanons, some don't + the woodworking class and the morning jogs thing with skye is apparently something she actually does, according to the val wiki

congrats! (regardless of your age) you're the little sibling in the protocol family! :)

responsible older siblings: brimstone, sage, sova, skye

these people will always be looking out for you and your best interests. they're not really the type to allow you to get into trouble and are serious about setting a good example. this doesn’t mean they don't have fun with you (sova definitely does with archery and his owl drone), it's just that their idea of fun is a lot more restricted. they'll let you get away with a few things at most.

skye only allows you to get into trouble with her creatures. if she catches you doing anything you're not supposed to (or if she just chooses to invoke her power as an older sibling), she’ll probably make you take her woodworking class and participate in her morning runs.

sova and skye are more lenient than brimstone and sage, as you could probably guess.

if you pester him enough, sova would eventually give in with a heavy sigh and try to keep you from getting caught if you're up to something. he swears he won't let it happen again… until you give him puppy dog eyes, exploiting his one soft spot.

older siblings who do not care/are too busy to: viper, chamber, and (bonus) omen

nuff said. jk, they just…have looking after a younger sibling on a much lower priority than most other things, whether it be experimenting in the lab or working on gun design. that, or they just don't care in the first place. don't expect any family bonding time from them.

honorary mention: omen, but idk, he just kind of seems like a hit or miss with a younger sibling. he would probably be too preoccupied with figuring out his whole situation to take care of someone else. he may not even know how to express his consideration outside of knitting them something.

teasing/immature older siblings: phoenix, cypher, breach, jett, raze, astra

they relentlessly pick on you (in a lighthearted way), but at the end of the day, you're still their younger sibling. they'd never let anyone else outside of protocol talk to you like that. they do a lot of dumb stuff with you and pretty much enable tons of idiotic stuff. even though they're not the best role models, they sure do let you have fun.

cypher makes sure you eat well and keeps you out of trouble for the most part, but he'll bend a couple of rules for you. like sova, he'll keep you from getting caught, but sometimes, unlike sova…he’ll just partake as well.

phoenix, jett, and raze all must have babysitters of their own when watching you. they cannot be trusted.

cool older siblings: cypher, reyna, killjoy, yoru, astra, fade, neon, jett, and (bonus) phoenix

they let you get away with most stuff, and they end up being that sibling that you want to model yourself after because you're just so amazed at everything they do.

killjoy is mostly working in the lab (and in that way kind of goes in the ‘too busy to care’ category), but occasionally, she appears and gives you little robots to keep you company. then, she blips out of existence for another year. jk, she tries to spend time with you and teach you everything she knows in her lab, even if you don't understand half of what she's saying.

i was gonna put yoru in the teasing/immature category, but he's really just the teasing part of it. he's kind of ruthless with it. he wants to look cool and succeeds most of the time, and he’s not as immature as some of the people in there (phoenix in particular).

a normal conversation between you and neon is you saying, “wow, that was so cool, ate (older sister)!”, and her replying, “oh, uh, thanks?”

honorary mention: phoenix, but only because he wants to look cool but fails miserably.

i mean…how could you not find astra cool? she literally controls the cosmos

protective older siblings: cypher, reyna, omen, yoru, kay/o, neon, fade

the other agents would certainly stick up for you, but these are the people who would kill for you if it came down to it…that may be a bit of a stretch for some, but they’ll definitely take all precautions when it comes to your safety and would go a step further when actually defending you.

kay/o MAY go in the category with viper and chamber, but honestly, after losing brimstone (who he was obviously very close to), i would imagine that he's learned how to care and have close relationships with others, including a familial one with you. and he doesn’t want to lose you too.

neon may not seem like she's on the same level as the other people here, but she is still really passionate about her family and may not be able to control herself and her anger when it comes to you.

yoru can obviously fight, and if he finds out that someone other than him (and the protocol, he guesses) is being mean to you, they're getting those hands.

cypher and fade are definitely going to be revealing all the secrets and fears of people who hurt you. only if you want them to, though.

omen, as i said, is a hit or miss, but if he does care, he cares deeply, and he’ll do everything in his power to give your enemies a nightmare.

have you seen the lengths reyna goes to for her little sister? if anyone dares to lay a finger on you, they’re getting the same treatment

At first, REYNA would believe you were talking to someone else. Yun pala kanina mo pa tinatawagan siya wala ka ng boses :')

You would explain to her what they would mean, Mahal ko meaning my love or expensive depending on how it was used in the sentence. She likes the nickname meaning both because she really is expensive, I mean look at her.

Absolutely prideful when you call her that, "That's right everybody they're my significant other and you don't have a chance with us anymore."

During softer moments when you lay on her lap, it reminds Reyna of when her younger sister used to lay on her lap as well.

"Ali? Luh bakit parang masama pakiramdam mo."

"English please dear."

"Ali, why do you look so down?"

I am yours as you are mine. A deeper translation of how it is, and I love the concept of intertwined lovers for the rest of their lives.

Reyna is never one for vulnerability. But she melts a wee bit inside when you call her that. Just a wee bit. Then her ego becomes bigger.

Reyna sighed in contentment— a feeling she hasn't felt in so long. The kind that never faded away and always resurfaced back to the shores on her heart.

You laid peacefully on her lap, Reyna's manicured nails softly massaging your head.

"Mahal kita." She softly whispered.

She'll make sure she won't make the same mistake again.

Do you guys ever get that moment where you glance beside that person beside you then the whole world fades? Not to the point somebody will bump into you of course. Or not to the point you'll die in an earthquake because you were busy staring at them, gosh no. An unconscious smile would make its way to your face and your heart would fly around with Cupid wings a tad faster. SOVA made you feel that way.

Sova was a man, and that man was your whole world. Your whole world revolved around him and all the beautiful things he loved.

"Adi, need water?" You once spoke to him, pressing a water bottle to the side of his face while you were both bird-watching.

"Adi?" He repeated the word as it rolled from his tongue, "And that means?"

“Blessing."

No, you were the blessing in Sova's life. He has never believed he could put so much trust in a single person in his lifetime.

Invite me to your wedding please the two of you are the sweetest couple that makes me run and squeal and run around SM with my tsinelas kahit daming tao diyan sa loob. Tatakbo din ako sa labas pero potek traffic pala. Did I say run?

Cypher

Let’s be honest, Cypher would probably be the quickest to find out. He literally man’s all of the security at HQ. Anything that happens, he’ll know right away and there’s no escaping his gaze.

The first gift that he receives from you is a short handwritten note. On it are the words, “Hey, I heard about how you did on that mission Brim assigned yesterday. You’re so cool, I wish I had the courage to speak up to you.”

Now normally Cypher would be able to discern where the letter came from, but since it’s on paper it’s much harder to track who sent it to him, after all he would have to dedicate extra time to go through and analyze the writing style to be able to figure out who it is. But he’s Cypher so he does eventually crack it.

He finds it endearing and slightly amusing because of the fact that you think you need to hide your attraction to him. Don't worry, he's good at keeping secrets.

He actually lets you go at this for a while, acting completely surprised everytime he gets a new letter or gift, and asking you for help, finding it hilarious to see you nervously look away, denying that you have any knowledge.

He finally admits after what seems like months, telling you that what you were doing was cute. He tells you that he feels the same as you do. And the rest is history.

Sova

Sova's a fairly alert man, but when it comes to anything romancey the man is kind of helpless.

He's puzzled when he starts receiving gifts and letters from an unknown person but doesn't think much of it. Instead he just smiles, reading the contents of each note, or examining each gift.

He found out on accident and it led to a misunderstanding on his part. He happened to walk into the training room and at the same time you were unlocking your locker to grab some pink flowers.

While you're trying to hide the flowers from his view, he blinks owlishly at you asking what type of flowers they are.

"Oh....well they're pink Camellias. Omen was growing some do I wanted to see if I could lighten up the room a bit." You fib out, wondering how you'll walk out of that one.

Sova brightens slightly, "Well, I suppose we could put it in the kitchen. It would be nice to have something to brighten up the room."

You look away slightly bashfully, "Actually...I didn't want to put it in the kitchen. That would defeat the purpose of what I meant to do." You admit to Sova that you were going to give him the flowers.

And it doesn't take much longer for him to connect the dots and realize that you were the one sending him stuff.

Yoru

Yoru is in disbelief, the first being that he's a skeptical mf. He doesn't actually think that someone would actually go out of their way to send him stuff. Yes, he's cocky and arrogant, but does that mean he actually believes in it? Not always.

The first time he receives a small note from you, he's staring at it in confusion, all while Jett and Phoenix are being little shits and going, "oOOooOh 🤭🤭😏😏"

He shoos them away with a scowl on his face, but its only when he's alone does he rub the paper, feeling the material, almost as if he can't believe it.

You better believe that he's going out of his way to figure out who the hell is doing this for him.

He finally finds out when he's just lurking in the rift and he sees you walk down the hall, a teddy bear clutched in your hands. He pops out behind you, questioning what you're doing.

You jump, not expecting him to show up behind you, your mouth agape as you try to formulate and excuse as to why you're headed in the direction of his room when your room is on the opposite end of the hallway.

Seeing your nervous reaction, he continues pressing you for answers until you fold, admitting that you're the one that's been leaving stuff in front of his room for him.

After hearing what you told him, he just laughs softly, a playful smile on his face, "You know, if you liked me that much, you could have just told me instead of trying to hide it.

Still groggy, you get up grumpily and unhook the little shit

With you grumbling and the blanket rustling, you woke Sova up, who was cuddled up beside you until then

After your half-conscious struggle, you manage to slip the bra off and absentmindedly throw it into oblivion

That oblivion being Sova’s face

He grimaced for a second until he realized—from the combined scent of fabric conditioner and you—that it was in fact your bra on his face

authors note: it’s been a while again, i don’t upload as much because i don’t get requests nor do i generate many ideas often.. but here’s a fluffy 4am thought. as always, please enjoy. <3

you had been begging yoru to attend this party with you. one of your relatives had recently gotten married and had decided on holding a grand reception to see more people after the marriage. of course, he was much hesitant to the idea, not wanting to associate himself in large groups of people in a public setting. but it was you, and as much as he doesn’t want to admit it- he hated seeing you even a little upset.

you didn’t go out to parties often, which is why you made the decision now to go. however, that meant getting a nice pretty dress. so again, you dragged yoru along with you to find something. before you even left the house he was throwing a whine towards you. “do we have to go today?” you sigh as you rub your temple, knowing that question would be bought up regardless.

“yes love, we do have to go today. i’m so occupied with work the rest of the days i won’t have time. please? i won’t take that long i promise.” his features softened, now thinking that he was probably being too annoying when you just wanted to get one dress. he held out his hand quietly for you to grab while you lightly giggled and let him take you the car.

speed time a bit later and you guys are at the boutique- and wow. it was so massive and there were just hundreds upon hundreds of dresses filling the room. yoru saw the way your eyes lit up at the sight and he couldn’t help but break out into a small smile. “she has the prettiest eyes.” of course, he would never admit to something like that so suddenly.

you went in with him asking for an assistant and one quickly came over pleased to help you. she quickly told you to hurry into the changing room while she told the young gentlemen yoru to take a seat on a chair. it was in a private room area where there was a small stand for the person trying on the dresses to stand and look at themselves in the mirror. yoru scrolled through his phone for a bit until he heard the door open from a small distance.

he turned around and my goodness. he almost let his jaw hit the floor. but his eyes did widen a little as you came out wearing the most beautiful dress he’s ever laid his eyes on. and it’s on the love of his life? he couldn’t be any more red. meanwhile, you couldn’t really see his reaction as the assistant immediately led you to the mirror. “so, what do you think? i think first try and this is the one.”

you looked at yourself, and while you agreed that it was a very pretty dress, but was it made for you? you couldn’t help but start having some insecure thoughts as you remembered yoru was also looking at you. “i’ll leave you two to decide for a bit.” the assistant steps out and you can see yoru standing up in the reflection of the mirror.

“so uh, what do you think yoru? i think it’s very pretty i just.. i just don’t know if it’s- what?” he wrapped his arms around your waist, resting his head on your shoulders. his eyes stared into yours. you were surprised, why was he doing this now? “i think.. you look just like a dream. the prettiest dream that is. a dream i would like to see forever.”

you were at a loss for words. yoru rarely says stuff like that and in public too? did he really like the dress that much? as if he read your mind, he went on, “i love it and i can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction when i tell them you’re my pretty girl.” the flush on your cheeks grew redder. he chuckled softly and gave you a kiss, removing his arms around you as the assistant walked back in.

“i’ll get this one, a dress adorned in a dream.”

Valorant Agents Reactions to You Making Them a Flower Crown

Characters: Chamber, Cypher, Yoru, Omen, Neon, Jett, Killjoy

Type/Genre: Headcanons/Fluff

Warnings: None

Pronounce: There's no pronouns, everybody can read!

Chamber

Chamber doesn't have much time to enjoy nature or activities like that, so I think he would be happy if you made him a flower crown.

He looks at what you are doing while you are making a flower crown for him, but does not comment. He thinks you're going to give it to Jett or someone else.

If you leave a flower crown on his head while he is working, he will not react at first and prefer to look at you sideways.

After a while he takes the crown from his head and stares for a while because he didn't know what you put on his head.

"I didn't know you were doing this for me."

Even though he didn't show his reaction to you much, he would find it quite sweet on the inside.

"Merci chérie. J'aime bien."

I'm sorry if you don't speak french but he will only say in french that he likes the crown you made.

He does not hesitate to go to the others with a flower crown on his head. He even teases Yoru for not having someone to make a flower crown for him.

"Unfortunately, you have no one to give you such things, Yoru."

Cypher

As much as Cypher loves to work, he can finish a few important tasks ahead of time so he can spend time with you.

When he sees that you have made a flower crown, he will sit next to you and begin to do it with you.

He's pretty good at doing this!

He finds every gift you make yourself very precious so he can wear the flower crown you put on his hat all day, provided you wear the crown he made.

Congratulations, you now have a matching accessory with him!

"You look pretty cute, darling. If you wear the crown all day, I won't take off mine too."

Omen

Omen usually does not approach the plants so as not to harm them unintentionally.

He still loved to watch you make a flower crown. But he didn't think you would give it to him.

If you can convince him that he won't harm the flowers, he will do it with you!

Since he knows how to knit, he can easily learn how to make a flower crown.

If you give him a flower crown that you made yourself and ask him to wear it on his head, he will be quite happy.

Still, he finds it surprising that you're giving him such a lively gift, as he sees himself as a terrifying creature.

"I didn't expect you to give me such a beautiful gift, thank you. Of course I can wear this."

He would be too happy to care what others think of him.

He is very careful not to damage the crown and constantly checks it.

Please give him more gifts like this, because no one else does.

Yoru

Yoru will make fun of you at first, just as he makes fun of Skye.

"Why do you keep playing with those bits of grass?"

Still, deep down he would wonder what you were trying to do and would watch you.

When you tried to make a crown of colorful flowers and put it on his head, he would try to run away from you, as if disgusted.

"Are you really going to put that grass in my hair and mess it up?"

If you try to leave him disappointed or angry, he will stop you from leaving and agree to take the crown.

Even though he didn't want to go to the others, he would spend the whole day with that crown on his head, so as not to upset you.

"Don't try to say a word about it, Phoenix, or I'll kill you."

Killjoy

Killjoy is surrounded by mechanical devices and technological gadgets all day, so she almost forgets what nature or flowers look like.

She'll probably notice you too late while you're busy making a flower crown.

When she finally decided to take a break, she saw you tying a few flowers together, but because you were so focused, she would quietly walk away so as not to be distract you.

She probably fell asleep somewhere while you were making the crown, so if you leave the flower crown on her desk while she sleeps, she can take it from there.

When she wakes up at a random time and sees the flower crown you made, it wouldn't be too hard for her to realize that you made it.

She would spend the day taking off her hat and carrying the flower crown you made on her head for that day.

She would be quite happy looking at herself in the mirror wearing the crown you made.

She would stop you at the first place she saw you, thank you and ask if it suits her.

"Hey hey (Y/N)! I didn't know you could make something so beautiful out of those flowers, especially I didn't expect you to give it to me. Thank you! By the way… does it look good on me?"

Neon

Neon didn't know who will you give that crown but when she saw that you made a crown out of flowers, the idea of making a crown for you sounds good to her.

However, she didn't know how, so she had to ask Skye for help.

After a few tries, she and Skye somehow managed to make you a flower crown.

Due to her shyness, she will come to you quickly, trying not to be seen by others.

When she came to you with a flower crown in her hand, she was frozen for a while as both of you were faced with flower crowns in your hands, but she was finally able to hand you the crown.

"I... I thought it would look good on you. It's okay if you don't want to wear it."

The shy smile on her face when you took the crown she gave and put it on your head would be worth seeing.

Also, if you put the crown in your hand on her head, she will be very emotional.

"If you did it for someone else, you don't have to give it to me!"

As hard as it may be to convince you that you made the crown for her, once she is convinced she will overwhelm you with her love.

"You're the sweetest and most considerate person I've ever seen. No I'm not exaggerating, what about other people to me? After all, they're not considerate of me."

Jett

As soon as she saw you making a flower crown, she would drop everything and come to your side.

"Hey! Can I make one for you?"

Although she says this she doesn't know how to do a flower crown so you will have to teach her.

Although she tries to do what you say, she is not very good at handicrafts, so do not be surprised if she can't.

Still, by doing the best she could, she would have succeeded in giving you a flower crown.

She will be quite embarrassed if you give her a flower crown that you made yourself. She also leaves her hair free for that day only.

"The crown you made definitely looks better than the one I made."

Normally, Jett is the last person to say such a sentence. So if Jett said something like that, she probably thought you wouldn't like the crown she made.

PLEASE DON'T LET HER FEEL LIKE THIS BECAUSE SHE'S GOING INTO A VERY DEPRESSIVE MOOD! SHE'S NOT A JETT ANYMORE SHE'S A DEPRESSED YOUNG GIRL!

If you can convince her that you really like the crown she made, she will go back to normal pretty quickly.

"Hah, I already knew you liked it. After all, you can pretty much understand what's good, that's why we're together anyway!"

Non-combatant Radiant! Reader

A/N: I need to get this out of my head cause I can't stop thinking about it. The Valorant wiki states that radiants are people who gained abilities after the First Light happened, so it doesn't have to be abilities related to combat. So here are a few examples I can think of:

It could be something silly like absorbing cooking abilities simply by putting your hand on a cookbook or something. When you were hired as a chef for the agents, Phoenix asked what your power was until you embarrassingly answered. Him cackling loudly while saying, "i-it's like you're... you're Gordon Ramsay if he speedran his career!" didn't help making you feel more comfortable being there. Jett had to butt in and tell Phoenix to knock it off and explained that he didn't mean any harm and that was his attempt at making you feel welcomed. No one knew, but deep down Jett was a little bit jealous of your ability because she had to earn her cooking skills and your abilities were just...handed to you.

Another ability example: You can clearly see people's aura that explains their emotion. Blue meant calm and most of the time that's what you see on people, but sometimes it's red which means anger (usually after a failed mission), yellow which means absolute joy (you often see this on Raze), purple means excitement (Killjoy), and many more. You asked Brim to not reveal what your power was, because then the agents could try and mask their emotion which makes it harder for you to look into their real feelings. You were suprised when an agent has pink aura all over them whenever they talk to you (I'm leaving this to your imagination, whoever you want it to be 😉).

Last example: You have a 5-minute sense in which you know what happens in the next 5 minutes. This was a golden ability to use in the battlefield but unfortunately a major event left you traumatised with the sound of gunshots. Hell, you can't even stand the sound of fireworks. Gunshots in movies or games are fine, but the moment it's real, you'd start to have a hard time breathing. Anyway!! Since Brim, Viper, and Sage witnessed this firsthand, they decided it would be better for you to work in the clinic with Sage. She took you under her wing and she was genuinely impressed with how fast you were improving. The other agents were not told about your ability because you fear it would bring conflicted feelings between agents (why does Y/N get to not fight even though they have some legit abilities?) Sometimes Sage gets anxious cause you'd be running to the clinic and say, "Brimstone's going to ask you to come with him to pick up the agents, someone's injured badly and they need your revival." Remember the cinematic where KJ, Reyna, and Neon infiltrated Omega's base? You'd predict the Omega will infiltrate yours and quickly reported to Brimstone, and when KJ asked how did Brimstone predicted it, he simply said, "I had a sense, sometimes it's good to trust your instinct." That did not satisfy KJ, but she knew better than to question him. You also predicted silly things, like when Phoenix is going to burn the microwave (you ran into the kitchen with an extinguisher), and you also predicted the agents going against Maxbot (you told Sage and Brim about it and Brim sighed for the 19383929304th time that day). Your powers are fun, but sometimes it leaves you scared.
