DJ Mute City - PlayStation 1 DanceMix Vol.1 CD
4 4x6 photoprinted screencaps of past PS1 streams
once again a little late on things mostly due to high shipping costs during the holidays, but will be finally shipping this batch out to my patreon supporters this week. I still plan on getting the next CD finished and shipped early spring. I’ll do a poll on my patreon page to see if people want either GameCube DanceMix Vol.1 or PS2 DanceMix Vol.2 for the next CD (both have not been publicly available yet but are chunks from past unlisted livemixes for patrons!) as far as the next unlisted stream goes.... it might be time to do another PS1 mix since I only scratched the surface of all the tracks I’ve been collecting.
anyway, happy Chinese New Year and enjoy my vidmix of this synced within the game Internal Section if you haven’t checked it already!
Another mashup, this time a variation of the opening I used for my Youmacon 2016 set. I LOVED how the boom bap beats and turntablism of Moody's Shuffle from the Jet Set Radio soundtrack blended with the classic Libera Me From Hell from Gurren Lagann. Then, I was able to build it up into the hype EDM drop of Grim by Max Vangeli & Danny Ray. Still love how this turned out 6 years later!
Forests in games can contain a variety of moods, but one of my favorites is a calm, healing feel. Today, we’re exploring some SNES and SNES-adjacent music with this feeling. Some of it’s not even coupled with a forest!
Let’s vibe.

Have you ever listened to music so beautiful that it makes you want to cry? That's me with Genshin Impact's music from the Fontaine region. I just can't believe how fantastic the music is.
From Posey of Chrysolite to Where All Waters Converge. All of it is so beautiful to me. Art like this is one of many reasons why I'm thankful to be alive and to experience the feelings this music brings me.
2016 was when I started to make the transition from JUST producing music to seriously performing as a DJ! My breakout performance was when I was graciously invited for my first of four appearances at Youmacon, a huge anime convention in Detroit, Michigan!
