Is there a lore reason why newtwo didn't call genesect for help? Is she stupid?

So I seem to recall you mentioning that another Mewtwo exists in this universe (The Linden Roots equivalent of “Newtwo”) and I was figuring that unless it is some unknown mew out there, that this Mewtwo’s DNA would’ve come from Pari possibly..? (Pari’s colors are a nice vibrant pink as well) Unless Mo’s DNA was backed up and transferred to Unova to perform the same experiment…

I know this whole other Mewtwo thing is presumably far off but I guess I just wanted to gauge your thoughts on the matter …or lack of hehe

My new theory for Newts back story is that you mentioned before for the currently unrevealed future mewtwo that there was lots of attempts of making them and now I'm thinking Newts greatest failure was her inability to protect and save her younger siblings who were being made at the same time and ended up dying or being killed in experiments hence her shock at seeing Amber who was baby child sized, reminding her of said siblings, and her initial want of family with Mewtwo because she'd already lost all her other siblings so she was desperate to meet and know the only other one that survived

I mean ya never know, maybe the Unova scientists that created Newtwo also made a few previous attempts before her as well. Maybe she saw her siblings die the same way Mewtwo saw the first starter clones did when they failed, or she saw them die as they were being tested on and she blames herself for not saving them. She likely got those scars from the pokemon hunters they hired to capture and bring her back after she escaped. :>

I have had this doubt for a while: in your universe where is the Mewtwo og? the one that was created by Giovanni in kanto

Og Mewtwo is still hanging around in Kanto, and ‘Newtwo’ is in Kalos (not Unova since I primarily follow the games and not the anime)

Might see them later in the story, but that’s all I can say on that matter for now

I'd say like a simple pastel blue aesthetic! I may make a moodboard of it some other time for it! :0

Since I live in Unova and he lives in Kalos, we're often texting each other or talking to each other via computers! Sometimes Mew (or Mewtwo/Newtwo) teleports me and Professor Sycamore to Galar to spend time in the Rose Tower with Chairman Rose too (since we all love spending time together >v< )

Oh yeah forgot to mention: I've been doing the DNS trick for the older ds pokemon games and I've been able to get my own Newtwo from the unova events

oh nice ^^ yeah it took a bit but i eventually got her along with all the other mystery gift pokemon XD I transferred her to alpha sapphire where I could clone her and send the double up to my switch, the other mewtwo stayed in Black

In an alternate reality, the Mewtwo Ash met in Unova (Who many know as Newtwo or Mamatwo in TC-96's main story) became a mother to a baby Mewtwo she nicknamed Obsidian, Obi for short. She called him this because his black tail reminded her of the rock known as obsidian. Obi is a curious and energetic little tyke, merely a newborn Mewtwo and he's already trying to get his hands on a megastone. Luckily, this megastone is a replica and not the real thing. Obi's got a while before he ever worries about mega evolution. Mamatwo can't help but smile at how adorable her babytwo's curiosity and carefree nature is.

Gonna be real I’ve been struggling with a name ever since her conception. Maybe something will come along over the next month or so XD

For now you’re free to refer to her as Newtwo since…yknow she is XD currently her placeholder for tagging purposes is Unova Mewtwo, I think I’d get confused tagging “Newtwo Mewtwo” lol

I know you probably meant that to be funny but idk how ya can gather that possibly being Newtwo when she was created by Unova scientists, completely unrelated to TR and Giovanni.

Besides Newtwo wasn't even created yet XD In the time period that the prologue comic takes place, (1999) it'll be 14 years before they start her experiment.

Who is Dot?

Dot is a babytwo I made on a whim a while back whilst reading comics from other Pokémon blogs that ended up giving me ‘babytwo fever’ lol

I originally made her as a one-time thing but

I ended up getting attached, hence the current Galartwo arch

It took me a while to figure out how I wanted to write her into the story, and how I wanted to tie the arch in with the main adventures of Odd. I had already made plans to include a Mewtwo, but drawing Dot sparked me making my own Galartwo.

I do have plans for OG Mewtwo and the Mewtwo in X&Y (my blog goes by the games, so ‘Newtwo’ is from Kalos and not Unova) later, but Galartwo and Dot are the main twos on my blog.

but aside from some future things I’ve got it all planned out now :3 Now it’s just a matter of finding the time to draw it all.

Shiny Mewtwo? Shiny Mewtwo. This is Adaline, she's Cyrus's sister and was created in Unova. She's basically Newtwo but she's actually pretty chill and understands that despite the humans that made her were bad that doesn't mean all humans are bad, she's still very weary of humans however. She has a mewtwonite in her chest like her brother does.

And finally the twin sister of Mewtwo, Newtwo, or just call her Newey for sort

Same age as Mewtwo, and not as grumpy as him either, unless they fight 🤣
