Considerare tutto questo solo all’interno della cornice della Rete sarebbe riduttivo. Non è certo questa la sede per trattare l’argomento; quello che però è importante sottolineare è che i processi di cui parliamo sono inseriti in un quadro economico ben più ampio che ha generato una trasformazione cognitiva senza precedenti: se per chi non è nella logica delle reti l’idea di essere costantemente attivo nella ricerca, condivisione e manipolazione dei contenuti risulta una fatica eccessiva, per chi si trova nella condizione opposta è ormai inconcepibile essere solo un utente passivo sottoposto a flussi di informazioni broadcasting. Si genera così un’infinità di nicchie di utenti per ognuna delle quali vigono regole separate di autorità, autorevolezza e qualità.
