While visiting San Francisco, we tasted some great wines at Bluxome Street Winery, in a neighborhood known as South of Market or SOMA. We loved that we were able to walk to this winery from our hotel in under 25 minutes. Bluxome Street Winery is an urban winery located in the heart of SOMA, where you can taste wine without leaving the city. Bluxome sources most of its grapes from low yield vineyards in Sonoma County. But they also own a Russian River vineyard named Balinard. As the location suggests, Balinard is planted with Pinot Noir grapes and farmed organically. Walking San Francisco & Thinking Out Loud I met Chris from Chicago at 6:45 am on California Street Thursday morning. He was also out trying to nail a high value photo of the cable cars at California and Powell. I snapped this walking up to Mason but I had to lighten it up to see the cable car on Powell Street lower left. I would love to take Chris up on getting shown around Chicago by another photographer and content provider. When I lived in Chicago my creative passion was writing songs and playing guitar.
