Torrenis is one of four siblings, and one of two who rules the skies. As there is no Rayquaza to guard that atmosphere, this job usually falls to her and her Tornadus brother, who guard the atmosphere as a duo.
Torrenis is as fierce and wild as the lightning she wields, and she is highly respected for this mastery. She and her siblings often worked with Voxgatum to help keep Oceanus and Terratlas in check, and are very active when it comes to the health of their realm. When not out working she usually spends much of her time in her mountainous home on an eternally thundering peak, working with both humans and pokemon together to maintain peace. It is not uncommon for people to climb the peak in hopes of gaining wisdom or advice.
Torrenis is a trans female and I have plans for her to appear soon on my other ask blog. She and her siblings have no Incarnate Forme, and so their typing's have changed to match this. She herself is a Dragon/Electric type. She's quite social for a legend, and enjoys a good old fashion brawl. She'll spar with whoever is willing!
Just for fun, here are the rest of the Forces of Nature's altered typing's: Tornadus: Flying/Dark Landorus: Ground/Grass Enamorus: Fairy/Water

Another old sketch, one of the first MonHun muses I had; a fanged wyvern combining traits of gharials and gorgonopsids. - TORRENIAL Title - Gharial wyvern Monster class - Fanged wyvern Known locales - Coastal regions, marshlands and oases Element/ailment - Water Elemental weakness - Ice (3), Thunder (2), Dragon (1), Fire (0), Water (0) Ailment weakness - Poison (2), Stun (2), Blast (1), Paralysis (1), Sleep (1) Torrenial is a fanged wyvern predominantly native to coastal regions and marshlands, with some populations eking out a living by desert oases and rivers. Distinguished by its long snout and pale-brown colours, Torrenial is a formidable apex predator whose defensive integrity of its scutes complements its powerful jaws. Six flexible ports along its sides discharge water at high pressure from internal sacs, enabling both bursts of mobility and surprisingly effective projectile attacks. Torrenial is an ambush predator that specialises in lurking in shallow bodies of water, usually in the lagoons or rivers in coastal regions. It patiently waits for prey to come to the water's edge before lunging, combining its own sheer strength with bursts of speed to seize the victim and drag it underwater. It occasionally ventures into deeper water to catch fish if need be. Excelling in catching prey and rivals by surprise, Torrenial is liable to attack most anything that passes by the water, but it is comparatively passive if traversing on land. While humans are not usually worth the predator's interest, field workers are nevertheless advised to stay away from Torrenial and not to go near shallow bodies of water without first checking the fanged wyvern isn't present. Its ability to discharge water from its ports makes Torrenial formidable. It can change directions, reverse or strike from a distance with controlled bursts of water. Combined with its strength and jaws, this allows Torrenial to easily overpower most other monsters, especially if in its element. Torrenial exhibit sexual dimorphism; adult males have a large sturdy knob on their snout called a ghara. Males use the ghara to display to females and intimidate rival males, resonating sound through it to signal their vitality. Males are highly competitive, contending for territories that ideally overlap with three to four females; usually they use their ghara to settle disputes, but occasionally they will resort to wrestling; these brawls rarely result in injury. The females in a male's territory congregate to lay eggs at the centre of his turf, which the male diligently guards until the infants hatch and disperse to shadow their mothers. Their father will tolerate them but no longer makes an effort to protect them. The mother's care will only last for a year or so until the juveniles are old enough to find their own way in the world. As an apex predator comparable to monsters like Rathalos, Torrenial should only be challenged by experienced hunters (Low Rank - 5, High/Master Rank - 4). Hunters must be wary of facing the fanged wyvern in its natural environment; Torrenial may be lurking in any body of water, waiting to strike. Sonic bombs can surprise and expose it, and keeping the fight on land is crucial for forcing the fanged wyvern to empty its aqua sacs, reducing its effectiveness. Fully grown Torrenial knows few threats beyond elder dragons. Coastal individuals occasionally contend with competition from the likes of Plesioth or Lagiacrus, but hunting further inland alleviates this issue. Individuals in the desert can run afoul of the likes of Monoblos, but taking to the water allows them to avoid a needless fight. Juveniles, of course, can become prey for carnivores like Hyborlex, but a vigilant adult can see off most threats. - Thanks for reading and take care

This one is based on marina iguanas, and the concept of sessile organisms/algae adhering to a creature - URROXAN
Title - Algal wyvern Monster class - Fanged wyvern Known locales - Shores of frigid seas, occasional forays to temperate coasts Element/ailment - Sleep + Soiled Elemental weakness - Thunder (3), Fire (2), Dragon (2), Water (0), Ice (0) Ailment weakness - Paralysis (3), Stun (2), Blast (2), Sleep (0), Poison (0) Urroxan is a unique fanged wyvern adapted to handling the oceans of frigid regions, as well as occasional migrations to more temperate waters. Known for its camouflage of grey and white scales, alongside the myriad of sessile organisms and algae adhered to its body, Urroxan's fluked tail propels it easily through water. The enlarged throat sac and the fleshy 'ports' on its shoulders both emit strange chemicals with which it can defend itself should its camouflage fail. A herbivore specialised in feeding on seaweeds and other forms of marine algae and flora, Urroxan spends most of its time lounging on the coastlines of tundra, or the occasional temperate zone or estuary. It can occasionally supplement its diet with coral or other hard-shelled organisms, but generally it prefers to provide such lifeforms a place upon its back. Forming a symbiotic relationship based on mutual survival, Urroxan is adept at evading attack. Because of this, it has a rather shy but docile nature, and will tolerate humans in close proximity provided they make no sudden motions. Field researchers are advised to likewise coat themselves in any seaweeds to give Urroxan the impression of familiarity, reducing the risk of attack. Though quick to lash out with its teeth, claws and strong tail if need be, Urroxan would rather rely on its ailments to protect itself. The ports on its shoulders release a thick gas that induces a sedative effect in any that breathe it in. Using its tail fluke, Urroxan can quickly spread or reposition the gas it produces, ensuring enemies can't flank it. The enlarged throat sac contains a noxious bile that Urroxan can spit with impressive accuracy. This foul chemical repels most monsters by damaging the eyes and nostrils, and is known to inflict the Soiled status on hunters. Principally, Urroxan prefers to avoid violence, using camouflage when possible. Urroxans will gather with their kind in large creches when lounging on coastlines, ensuring mutual protection. The species seem to be parthenogenetic, as these individuals will build nests and produce eggs without observations of mating. These nesting sites are a lure to many juvenile arthropod species, hoping to sneak past a parent and steal eggs. To this end, Urroxan attract the attention of Frezarion, a brute wyvern dedicated to hunting arthropods, and allow it free roam in their colony to deal with the pests. It is unknown what compels Urroxan to change habitats between cold and temperate seas. Some believe it is to evade the attention of their nemesis Zopristis, though others contend it is to reduce intraspecifc competition. Though equipped with ailments and reasonable physical strength, Urroxan is not a particularly threatening monster (Low Rank - 3, High/Master Rank - 2). Hunters are advised to bring repellants against bile and gas when facing it, and must make sure to target the less defended underside or joints lest their weapons catch on Urroxan's unique armour. Urroxan tends to avoid predation thanks to its camouflage and ailments. That said, it may occasionally be harassed by the likes of Hyborlex and Orcina Krai, and certainly fears predators like Torrenial and Lagiacrus. However, Urroxan's nemesis is the piscine wyvern Zopristis, who is resilient against its defences and has a paralyzing sting to stun the fanged wyvern. Only by putting its body in a torpid state can Urroxan hope to fool Zopristis's detection of electrical signals. - Thank you for reading and take care.

Another sketch, this time a snake wyvern based on sea kraits. - ORCINA KRAI Title - Reef snake Monster class - Snake wyvern Known locales - Coastlines, islets and reef outcrops Element/ailment - Ice + Poison Elemental weakness - Thunder (3), Dragon (1), Water (1), Fire (1), Ice (0) Ailment weakness - Stun (3), Blast (2), Paralysis (2), Sleep (2), Poison (0) Orcina Krai is a snake wyvern principally found along coastal regions, occasionally straying inland via estuaries or marshlands, or further afield by coral reef outcrops and islets. It is distinguished by its lustrous pink and green scales and various aquatic adaptations. The rudder-like hindlimbs and flattened tail enable excellent mobility underwater, whilst the large dorsal fin erects or flattens to assist direction. Orcina Krai is predominantly a piscivore, pursuing schools of fish underwater, though occasionally it comes inland to search for wyvern eggs or small creatures (more often than not the juvenile carapaceon Brineling). Some individuals lurk in rivers or by outcrops to ambush larger prey, though this is rare given Orcina Krai's bright colours don't entail subtlety. While humans are not usually considered prey, field workers should keep their distance from the snake wyvern, who may be tempted to attack either by aggravation from close proximity or simply testing a potential meal. Alternating between inland and oceanic activity, Orcina Krai are not particularly territorial and are reasonably tolerant to their own kind. Come the mating season, males gather on the shoreline, flaunting their fins and colours to intimidate each other and attempt to impress the larger females. After mating, the females take to sheltered coves or lakes, producing live young and guarding the brood for a few weeks from opportunistic predators. After that, the young are on their own and must become adept marine hunters quickly, lest they be deemed runts and preyed upon by their own mothers. As the snake wyvern's bright colours may suggest, Orcina Krai is venomous; powerful toxins are concentrated in the spines lining its forelimbs. Orcina Krai is a defensively aligned monster, evading attacks with sinuous motions or baiting aggressors into colliding with its venomous spines. Should it go on the offensive, Orcina Krai can spit an strange residue from glands in its mouth that solidies into an icy coating. This chilling concotion is usually used to slow down fast-swimming prey and proves just as effective in battle. Otherwise, strikes of its sharp fangs and claws or a swings of its tail fell most enemies. Orcina Krai is a reasonably challenging opponent between its use of ailments and surprising mobility (Low Rank - 3, High/Master Rank - 2). Hunters should avoid challenging the snake wyvern in the water and find a way to lure it onto land, where traps and barrel bombs can assist in hindering its mobility. Attacking the head when Orcina Krai is readying its icy spit could potentially make the snake wyvern choke on its own residue. As a predator of Brinelings, Orcina Krai are targeted for attack by the adult Brinataur on sight and must flee from the powerful carapaceon. Otherwise, the snake wyvern tends to have few natural enemies thanks to its toxins, though attacks from the likes of Lagiacrus or Torrenial can happen. Interestingly, Orcina Krai has little tolerance for the piscine wyvern Hyborlex and has been known to attack it without provocation; researchers theorise that this may be due to Hyborlex being a major predator of newborn Orcina Krai. - Thank you for reading and take care.

Another old sketch I wanted to share. As you might imagine, this piscine wyvern is a mix between dromaeosaurs and thresher sharks. - HYBORLEX Title - Sharpfin wyvern Monster class - Piscine wyvern Known locales - Coastlines, marshlands, estuaries Element/ailment - Bleed Elemental weakness - Ice (3), Dragon (3), Water (2), Fire (1), Thunder (1) Ailment weakness - Poison (3), Sleep (3), Blast (2), Paralysis (1), Stun (1) Hyborlex is a piscine wyvern that stalks environments supplemented by water, ranging from coastlines to estuaries. Recognised by their jagged bluish-grey scales and sharp fins, Hyborlex is distinct from most piscine wyverns in that their physiology resembles theropod bird wyverns. Powerful hindlegs equipped with curved claws make Hyborlex a superb runner and jumper. Its fins, scales, teeth and long tail are exceptionally sharp, perfect for inflicting gouging wounds. Unlike most piscine wyverns, adult Hyborlex cannot swim. Infants are reared in water, but will adapt to a terrestrial life upon reaching the juvenile stage. Hyborlex is an adaptable and intelligent carnivore that sees most anything as potential prey. Its speed and tenacity claims a wide variety of small monsters, ranging from young carapaceons to wingdrakes, and even larger monsters may be brought down by precise strikes to induce blood loss. Though not necessarily gluttunous or aggressive, Hyborlex will gladly take any opportunity to feed, only dissuaded if it feels the situation is not to its advantage. Humans are counted in the long list of creatures Hyborlex will hunt, thus field workers must exercise extreme caution that they are not caught off-guard by one of these opportunistic predators. Hyborlex's offensive strategy is simple; it relies on the jagged scales lining its body as well as its claws and teeth to inflict deep wounds on other creatures. It is a cunning monster that uses hit-and-run tactics to outmatch otherwise larger and stronger monsters. Its most effective weapon is its long tail. Usually used for balance, the extended fin is as sharp as any other protrusion and can be used like a bladed whip. Interestingly, Hyborlex have a tendency to pair up with another of their kind, forming a duo that patrols a particular territory. These pairs are usually mates or siblings, but occasionally unrelated individuals will work together. Hyborlex are extremely effective at hunting as a pair, typically employing the tactic of one occupying a target whilst the other prepares an attack from behind. Independant Hyborlex are rare, usually a younger or older individual made to occupy less productive territory. Technically Hyborlex is among the lower ranked monsters (Low Rank - 2, High/Master Rank - 2) but nonetheless hunters are advised to exercise caution when tracking these cunning predators. A single Hyborlex can be a dangerous adversary with its speed and jagged scales, and a pair of them is a daunting challenge even for experienced hunters. Quest receptionists must be absolutely sure that a Hyborlex is operating independantly before allowing lower ranked hunters to take the quest. Hyborlex is an effective predator, though it is still prey for larger carnivores. Hyborlex predominantly fears the fanged wyvern Torrenial, a formidable ambush predator of coastal and estuarine environments, and it is believed the preference for working in pairs is as much for protection as for hunting success. - Thank you for reading and take care.
