#this is the sad mirrorverse not the fun one#Janeway being slowly and slowly more motivated by her own fears and anxieties#the drive to get home slowly becoming more important than being a good person after the initial caretaker decision#Voyager becoming an extremely insular ship that trusts no one and never explores if it isn't absolutely necessary#Maquis & Starfleet divide remains somewhat ... not COMPLETELY separated but not wholly integrated either#Thinking about Tuvok who thought the Maquis could potentially stage a mutiny and preparing accordingly#Thinking about how Voyager is Janeway's first command and she gets thrown into the DEEP end#A mirrorverse that is truly a MIRRORverse in that 'this could have EASILY been you. And you understand them because you weighed the same decision and#NEARLY picked the other one.
