The Way Love Goes Part 1

Summary: Amy and Louis are friends since forever. When Louis comes home from touring one day, things eventually are going to change.

Amy just sat and stared at her coffee. Louis has been talking about the past tour for a few minutes, raving about his fans, the band. Amy just nodded absently here and there and watched the steam coming off her warm coffee.

Louis and Amy were sitting on the patio at his home in London. It was a glorious summer morning. Two days ago Louis came home and actually Amy was happy to see her best friend again. Unfortunately, there is this little detail that she would like to be more than that. She would never have admitted that she had fallen in love with the musician. 

But last week she had dinner with his little sister Lottie. They chatted about everything and nothing, Amy apparently a little too much about the brunette. Lottie didn't ask, she just stated. Amy couldn't deny it, she had resisted it for too long. It's also not the fact that she's in love with her best friend that's bothering her so much right now, but what Lottie said. 

"Finally. Now there's nothing standing in the way of the dream couple. God only knows how long Louis has been feeling this way." 

In the here and now it's exactly these words that Amy just can't get out of her head. 

"Little one, are you even listening to me?" laughs Louis. Amy looks up. Into the radiant blue eyes around which there are now a few wrinkles. She can't do it, can't keep gorging on it, she finally needs certainty. 

"Do you love me, Louis?"

Mt.Rushmore Of Music Top 4 Reasons Jimmy, Terry & Janet Works 1. Janet's voice Even though Janets voice could not compare to a Whitney Houston (who could) or Anita Bakers, it is unique. Janets.voice is very gentle, clean and easy to sing along to, a great formula for radio and hit songs and Jimmy & Terry make her voice as much an instrument as the keyboard lines. 2. Subject matter Obviously Janet is a very thoughtful, deep thinking woman. How do I know? It's all in her music! Rhythm Nation alone was laced with social consciousness and thought provoking music, and somehow still felt good musically, which is not easy to do. "The Knowledge" , "Living in a World They Didn't Make" are two great examples. 3. Background vocals I dont know what Jimmy & Terry do, but I wish I knew how they stack vocals with that gloss and shine and warmth that is their signature sound. Janets background vocals are.only rivaled by her brother Michael, period! 4. Trust in one another It is obvious this trio's relationship goes beyond music. You can just tell they are close friends and it spills all over into the music and the trust they have in each other to try different and risky things. Whew! December 29, 2015: My New Webseries

As a new mom, it's not easy trying to find the balance between work, family, and creative. I'm an author and a filmmaker, and time management and energy has become my biggest challenge... especially since motherhood set in. This month, a very good friend of mine talked me into committing to his writing and production team for a new webseries starting in 2016... in another state! As if I wasn't frazzled enough. LOL! But I can't let the team down, and more importantly, I don't want to let myself down. This will be a great way for me to get back on the writing saddle and continue to grow and improve as a writer and overall filmmaker. So when my friends try to help get me motived and get my creative juices flowing, I'm always appreciative. I'm super excited to be a part of the writing team for this Chicago-based web-series.
