TW: Addiction

So do you guys ever think about the reason Blue is addicted to Nether warts? Because it’s not even a- “haha, I really like this food” kind of thing. We see them having symptoms of withdraw during episode 20. Such as anxiety and cravings.

Now, we have to ask ourselves, what is the cause of addiction? Well, for that there are a variety of reasons. Anyone can get addicted to anything because of various outside sources. Not to mention you have to factor in how addictive the drug can be. Although one reason stands out the most to me, and that’s stress. We all know that the stickmen have been through trauma, just look at the countless fights, seeing each other die, etc.

However, one thing about Blue that makes them stand out from the crowd is the fact that they.. don’t really stand out from the crowd. If you look at the color gang, all of them have a special talent or skill level. All of them have earned trophies or awards because they’re good at what they do. Blue has always come in second place. Always being taught/told what to do and when to do it. They are good at potions, I’ll give them that, but even then that skill has caused nothing but trouble and hurt for the group. Blue has their strengths, this isn’t and never was a hate post on Blue. They’re human too, and if blue were to compare themselves to the others, they too would realize that they weren’t anything more than a Nether Warts guy.
