Arthur Russell - That's Us/Wild Combination

i cannot explain it. arlecchino & freminet's potential relationship is so fascinating to me. i think the trio all has a bit of arlecchino in them but freminet's the one who's a potential threat. they both were under the previous director, they're both perceptive even of the divine (they could both read furina), they both use their appearance & personality to achieve their goals/missions. she knows how to redirect lyney & lynette's cunning/analytical nature/loyalty as she wants, and freminet will follow direct orders. so what happens when he decides something else takes precedence?
freminet says protecting his family has become his personal goal rather than an oath given by either director. do you ever wonder if arlecchino has considered the outcome of freminet deciding she's hurt his family & deciding to act on it, like how she killed the previous director?

So, most Daycares typically look after kids ranging from 1-to-5/6 years old, which means that Sun and Moon aren't just looking after babies. Mans looking after Baby-Babies. At least 10+ of them a day. That makes me wonder what their limit is. Do they have a waitlist for the Daycare?? Did they ever have Daycare assistants?? Or just a daytime security guard who watched from behind the desk? I want to know how the ins and outs of this place worked man!!

Manberg the merciless also made me realize there IS a reason to still buy one of those old box style ultralight wheelchairs.
You can mount shit in the under carriage. Dude put a whole floor buffer under there.

i realize a lot more ppl have followed me in recent times meaning y’all don’t know about the whole ‘my college roommate lied and completely convinced everyone on campus that she was color blind for the entire first semester of college, until tearfully pulling our friend group one at a time into a room to admit to us it was all a sham because she wanted a fun fact about herself’ situation. none of us were even mad we were just CONFUSED. there’s definitely people we graduated with who STILL DON’T KNOW.

Do u think Emmett likes sports? Because I get the vibe that he hates all sports except the ones he invented. LiKE the moment emmett sees a basketball rulebook he will become a serial killer
ooh GOOD question. agreed 100%; he doesn't like traditional sports. Emmett DOES enjoy competition, feats of strength, contact sports like wrestling, etc. so there's good reason to believe he enjoys games
if he DID play traditional spots, they would all have ~vampire flavor~ to make them more difficult. e.g., i could see him liking basketball if he, say, raised the basket to be above a vampire's jump vertical, redrew the court lines, made it a contact sport á la rugby, & replaced the basketball with a stone or a greased pig or whatever. for many traditional sports, i think Emmett would modify the rules until the "new" sport is vaguely reminiscent of the model
as a man with a thirst (hah!) for competition, i see Emmett making a sport out of anything. from something as simple as "race you to the ___" or "how many cougars can i bag in an hour," to something complicated with point systems & referees, Emmett channels the natural competitive drive of vampires into something healthy & fun. his games are a way to pass the time, bond with the fam, & channel any tense dynamics into a more cretive (nonviolent-ish) outlet.
while many of these games are one-offs, the Cullens likely play several original sports that they've refined over the decades. i could see them playing modified versions of wrestling, baseball, American football, capture the flag, ghost in the graveyard/kick the can, & some fucked-up complicated-ass Calvinball that always ends in fighting & the destruction of one or more load-bearing walls

If four and all of his brothers, both Caseys, Draxum, Splinter and future Leo got into a fist fight. Who would win??
Four, no doubt
i feel like Lee would last pretty well into the fight due to him having fought Kraangified people before, but he'd still end up losing
Cassandra is a beast in her own right so a fight between her and Four would be very close. although Four would still end winning. Cass is only human y'know??

currently luz only has a handful of glyph combos—invisibility, the sleeping steam spell she did with hunter, the hover spell, and the combos she got from phillip’s journal. i guess she kind of knows phillip’s teleportation glyph? anyway i’m surprised no one has said anything about trying to make a healing glyph? even if luz doesn’t know how to make one, you’d think she’d at least consider looking into it. healing magic is like. one of the basic things plucky fantasy adventurers need and luz is trope savvy enough to know that.
also it fits with her background. her mom is a vet and literally “heals” animals for a living. growing up with a parent like that, luz would have some interest or at least knowledge in medicine that she’d reasonably connect to magic. once she found out she can make glyph combos one of her first thoughts should have been “cool wonder if i can make a healing spell with that since i keep getting myself into danger.” the healing glyph definitely would have come in handy in the most recent episode where hunter almost died lol.
anyway if they never brought it up i dont think they’ll do anything special with healing glyphs. luz can’t discover every glyph combo for every spell in existence within the show. the fact that she’s “only” learned like 7-8 combos in all of season 2 and only discovered like 3 without phillip, shows how hard it is to discover these things. even if luz is considered to be “fast” at learning glyph magic. healing spells are just such an important part of the repertoire in classical fantasy, so i’m surprised that they barely mentioned it in the show.
