i have committed a horror movie error in the bathtub. i used a heavy cream instead of a sugar scrub without realizing and now i'm coated in a film of ooze that scrapes up in long white trails under my fingernails.

scrubbing with soap has not removed it.

the original goal was to Remove all the bits of me that peel up under my fingernails so i can actually. sleep.

i am slippery like danny devito inchwormjng wetly in his underwear across a dirty bar floor covered in hand sanitizer. i am soap now. every time i sit up i slide back down the tub.

i am far too tired to go into the other shower and spend the 40 minutes of deep exfoliation necessary to fix this so i'm going to slowly helplessly wriggle my slime prison into our bed, whereupon all of our sheets will become slimy. and if god loves me he will let me rest.
