So I haven't been in the Genshin fandom long, but I saw an argument in a tiktoks comments over whether it was Kaveh or Alhaitham that was good at mathematics and like their were good arguments for why they would or wouldn't be but I feel ppl were missing the obvious option?

My headcanon is that they are both fantastic at maths, but not the same school of maths. Anyone who's done a British a level knows they split maths into two main paths, maths statistics and maths mechanics. I feel like Kaveh would be fantastic at mechanics given it's the kind of stuff you need for architecture involving physics and weight and so on. Meanwhile Alhaitham probably uses statistics alot more in his role as grand scribe even if he was a language graduate.

Idk, I could be completely wrong but it makes sense for me that they both have a good grounding in maths, but in different fields so whenever they end up having to handle a Mathematical problem together they either argue about the methodology to go about it, or have no clue what the other is doing because that isn't their field of expertise
