Here’s one of the first Brutal Legend aus I made! (Gunna try to keep this brief and if people have questions abt it I’ll answer)
Basically in this au, Succoria is the empress and everything and her and Riggnarok lived in the Brutal Lands together, and Eddie was born as the prince and all that. And in this au Doviculus is like a royal advisor of sorts and he like waited the whole time until Eddie’s parents were gone and he was the new king and that. And he betrays him and everything and so on and so forth.
Aaaaand this is his design! I think I’m gonna change it a bit to like draw what his wings and everything look like but yeah!! Demon King Edward wooooo

Wildcard sketches! Featuring: Parents, or a brother in Manny's case. (And a Succoria heavily inspired by @eternalfirebeast designs!) Some babies/children/teenz, and last but not least: an important new development for my demon Eddie design. 🤘😈

♪♫ Imaginaria/Yore (my demonsona), Doviculus and Succoria ♫♪ I make a "better" version about an old sketch I maked on theses 3 dorks ^^ For Succoria, I imagined her design because you know we don't really see her in the game. And my demonsona's real name is Imaginaria before becoming Yore when she goes to help humans ^^

Nah, that’s just her baby boy, her handsome little man

Mikaela has wavy shoulder length sunshine blonde hair, with a singular strand of hair that appears to be a lighter shade of blonde than the rest, of which he sometime ties into a ponytail. He also has a pair of bright sapphire blue eyes.
His features give him the look of a foreigner, of which often causes many to make remarks about him appearing rather beautiful. He stands at five foot eight and seems to have pointed ears of which are hidden underneath his hair. Though they become visible when putting his hair into a ponytail.
Mikaela can often be found wearing a white turtle neck, sometimes with a brown jacket over top of it. He wears black form fitting leggings and brown dress shoes. He also has a black ring placed upon his right ring finger.
Despite going to the same school as the Sakamaki brother’s... Mikaela does not actively wear the required school uniform and is often sporting a largely over-sized black hoodie with a pair of gray jeans and black combat boots. There is a small rosary located around his neck that dangles between his collarbone. This is followed by fingerless black gloves. He seemingly has a singular earring in his left ear. He still wears his black ring in this attire. Though this time he wears it on his left hand.
- Personality
Mikaela is what many would call a shadow. He is extremely quiet and prefers to keep to himself during all hours of the day. Finding things like optimism to be classified as “false hope”, and believes the world is full of disappointment. Additionally, Mikaela has a difficult time opening up to people, though this is due to the trust issues he developed from his birth parents, and has a tendency to become passive-aggressive with others whenever he feels vulnerable.
Though despite Mikaela having a rather negative personality around others, he also has a very caring and compassionate side to him. He cares deeply about the well-being of others, and even desires to help as many people as possible. He is quick to grow attached to those he cares for (like his mother), which can make him reckless, sometimes to the point of endangering himself. In addition, Mikaela, often becomes shy, especially when being asked to talk about himself or anything to do with his hobbies. He has a serious lack of self-confidence that often makes him believe others are out to get him because they’re always observing everything he does.
According to Mikaela’s adoptive mother, Mikaela apparently used to be a cheerful and prideful child.

FMK, Ophelia, Rima, Succoria?
Tumblr media
I am going to pass on this strange line of questioning. I do not know who Rima is beyond someone else speaking of her. Ophelia and I have an... interesting enough relationship as it is. She is dating my brother, so no. I am not touching that with the full length of my halberd. Succoria.. who?

Petitions
The sun was shining bright in the heavens above, and Aurelian sighed in content. He sat upon a balcony overlooking the Indaris gardens, eyes half lidded as he lazily watched various individuals meander through them. A half-filled wine glass was held barely by the tips of his fingers, and from time to time Aurelian casually sloshed the wine around in it. A yawn escaped his lips as he slouched in his chair.
For that moment, life was good. In the brief period of time there was no demon invasion, cutthroat politics or any other worry in life. There was simply the moment. Alas like any moment however it was fleeting, for Aurelian heard the sound of steel on stone behind him, the dull thud pounding in his ears like thunder. He groaned, straightening himself in his chair and tilting his head to see who had approached.
"My lord." Cyvar gave a low bow as Aurelian sighed, waving his hand dramatically.
"Cyvar. Whatever this is had better be important; you're interrupting my contemplation."
"Contemplation..." It took every ounce of Cyvar's will to not roll his eyes, instead the man clearing his throat. "You have visitors, my lord." Aurelian raised a brow but did not move quite yet.
"And whom are these visitors Cyvar. Minor nobles looking to bicker and squawk?"
"No."
"Silvermoon envoys looking to pester me with inane questions about our seer, the battle of dark meadow or some other bothersome question?"
"No..." Aurelian's curiosity rose then; who was here?
"Well? Spit it out who’s come to visit."
"Lord Dawngrasp and lady Blackfyre." At that Aurelian bolted out of his seat, standing upright and fully awake.
"What?! What the hell are they doing here?"
"They only said they've come to speak with 'the lord of House Indaris', my lord. I presume it has something to do with their request." Damnit. Aurelian pinched the bridge of his nose, sighing.
"Where are they now?"
"They're in the main wall waiting. Shall I have them meet you somewhere?"
"Send them here. First however have the servants bring up the black oak table and some chairs...and have them bring out the Thirty-One Valerian. If I recall that was a favorite of Lady Blackfyre."
"Right...when was the last time you had wine with her?" Aurelian paused at that; it had been quite some time. In fact, it had been a century...but then again good wine was timeless.
"That's not important; just get the bottle. Once that's done then fetch them. I need to prepare myself mentally for this. Ugh, and it was such a good day too." He looked up, nose scrunching as he waved a hand dismissively. “Go go, Cyvar." The man gave a bow before leaving Aurelian alone.
Ugh; He knew precisely why they were here, and it was a topic he had hoped to stall in discussing. His cousin Vaeldris was now lord of house Dawngrasp and as such would desire reinstatement into the Gilded Council, and as such the Gilded Lands coalition. It was an awkward conversation, considering his father's role in the removal of House Dawngrasp from the Gilded Lands. Aurelian did not enjoy going against his deceased father’s wishes and plans; he felt it tarnished his memory and legacy.
Of course, he ignored that when it came to Calithiel, but that was a special occasion. That was self-interest, and even though House Dawngrasp being reinstated would have some positive, it also held several negatives. First was the thorough job Aurelian's father Arcannon had done in tarnishing House Dawngrasp's name and that of its primarch; few among the council would wish for someone with as ill a reputation as Vaeldris had gained. The move to reinstate would prove...unpopular.
Second was of course political power. House Dawngrasp's removal had stemmed from their threat to House Indaris. Vaeldris had always been a shrewd political opponent and had even garnered enough support to be considered a threat to house Indaris, especially so during the time of woes. His only downfall had been backing the traitor prince Kael'thas and, as had been discovered, joining the half demon Stormrage. If he had power within the sphere of the Gilded Lands again, he may prove an irritatingly difficult opponent.
Neither consequence was something Aurelian wished for, which meant he'd have to deny his guests request. He was not surprised to find Vaeldris in league with the aloof Lady of house Blackfyre. After all, house Dawngrasp had formed as a splinter from house Blackfyre, and the two had always held close relations even after the split. House Blackfyre also held power in the east, something Aurelian was certain would be brought up and used to try convince him.
The servants arrived then, just as Aurelian had hoped. Between the group they carried a rather ornate and heavy oak table near ebon in color, and the various glasses and wine needed. Aurelian watched them set up with amusement, for they reminded him of ants; single minded in the express desire to serve him. When they finished they left without a word, leaving the table and three chairs there along with a bottle of wine and three glasses. He stood against the balcony, leaning on the stone as he waited.
He did not wait long.
"Lord Dawngrasp and Lady Blackfyre, my lord." Cyvar's voice carried behind Aurelian, and as he turned he saw that his second was already leaving the three alone. Vaeldris was just as Aurelian remembered the last time they saw one another; large, demonic and suitably unpleasant to look at. Lady blackfyre as well held the same hard lines in her features along with the curves Aurelian remembered fondly. Ah, those had been good times.
"Lord Dawngrasp, Lady Blackfyre. It is a pleasure to see you both again." Aurelian gave a low bow, matched by Vaeldris. Lady Blackfyre gave a polite curtsy, smiling softly at Aurelian.
"Lord Indaris; it has been some time. I am glad to see you are well. I apologize for our sudden arrival..."
"Oh not to worry Succoria; I am glad you were able to catch me. I leave in several day’s time back into the thick of it. Saving the world, all that good business. Come, sit; I have a table set out for us."
"If I didn't know any better I’d say you were expecting us." Both Vaeldris and Succoria took a seat, Aurelian following.
"This damn table again..." Vaeldris muttered. It was the table Aurelian had brought out the last time Vaeldris had dropped in, one that he knew Vaeldris would recognize.
"Well when I found out you two were here, I had the servants set this up; it would be oh so rude of me to not have something for you both. As you can see as well there is wine, for I imagine your journey was long."
"Not at all." Succoria began as Aurelian grabbed the wine, pouring the three of them a glass. She took a sip of it, smirking. "Valerian? My my we haven't had this together in quite some time. Anyways, when I heard you were back I grabbed Lord Dawngrasp and opened a portal just beyond your walls. The guards I imagine were quite surprised."
"Perhaps, though they are disciplined enough not to shoot. Now, I believe congratulations are in order...lord Dawngrasp. Ah, ascended to your throne once more. How is your cousin doing?"
"Better now that he no longer need stress about the throne." Vaeldris took a gulp of the wine, furrowing his brow. "You know why we're here, cousin. Your regent has not responded to any of my letters or envoys, or that of lady Blackfyre."
"Yes; I was starting to believe we were being ignored, but surely house Indaris would not be so rude?" Aurelian smiled, though it did not reach his eyes.
"Of course not. Your...petitions were something I would handle as lord of this house. My regent acts with my authority, but in a matter like this? Best left to me. I presume we are discussing of course house Dawngrasp's reinstatement into the Gilded Lands?"
"Yes, as we discussed months ago." Vaeldris narrowed his eyes like Aurelian, as if looking at an unpleasant meal and deciding whether or not to risk eating it.
"Indeed we did."
"While the rest of the Gilded Lands remains unaware of the affairs of house Dawngrasp, I have not. Lord Dawngrasp's reinstatement as head of his house means that House Dawngrasp is now secured and united; under his cousin's reign there were issues of instability, but now those have vanished like smoke in the wind. It is ready to rejoin the Gilded Council." Aurelian paused at that, placing his wine down to tap his fingers together.
"That perhaps may be, but the biggest obstacle is not whether it is ready, though it certainly helps your case. The problem stems from is the Gilded Lands ready for house Dawngrasp. No offense to my cousin here, but he's not exactly popular even still."
"Thanks to your father." Vaeldris pointed out.
"A lot of it was of your own making, Vaeldris. Supporting prince Kael'thas and leaving with him or wherever you went to wasn't exactly a popular choice once it was discovered he was aiding the Legion...especially so when it was discovered you aided Illidan Stormrage. Either way, most I would safely wager would not wish to have House Dawngrasp return."
"Lord Indaris, much of the hostility turned onto Vaeldris was thanks to your fathers’ efforts. I was there to hear the arguments he gave."
"It also doesn't help," Aurelian continued, "that Vaeldris returned when the Legion once more invaded. While I know it is merely coincidental, the others do not. Plus, his appearance is fairly...uninviting." Vaeldris began to tap his fingers on the table, Aurelian noting they had become blackened claws. "Like that; ugh, you'll ruin the wood."
"Let it be ruined. My 'appearance' means nothing, Aurelian. We both know I do not serve the Legion."
"Yes, well I do not speak for all the Gilded Lands."
"On the contrary Aurelian you do, or at least a large portion. Your word carries the greatest weight. Supporting my reinstatement as you promised would help convince quite a few lords."
“Hardly."
"Don't be humble cousin, you've never been good at it. Houses Moonsworn, Highwood and Greensong would follow your wish."
"You overestimate my influence on this matter. Even if that were true, that still leaves Eyvor, Ventosus, Saderis, Wyrmstorm, Sol, Mournwood and Var undecided."
"But you are lord of the Gilded Council; even amongst equals you are the most influential person. At least, your house is anyways. Your word would carry the most weight. If you vote to reinstate my house, others will follow suit. Both Succoria and I know this."
"Removing my father's influence in the matter would not be easy, nor would it be quick."
"That hasn't stopped you from doing so with your 'regent'." Aurelian blinked at that, eyeing Vaeldris hard. "I remember still the scathing words and evidence that destroyed her name. I know your father wanted to ensure she never had rank again, yet you still pursue her. Going against Arcannon's plans and wishes isn't something new for you."
"There is also the matter of timing. The Gilded Lands is concerned with the affairs of the Legion." At that Vaeldris scoffed. "What?"
"That's a bold-faced lie. Apart from the three of us, none of the other lords of these lands have done little more than offer token support. For them, the threat of annihilation is simply a bad wind they'll simply wait out."
"They are concerned." Aurelian reiterated. "And as such they would quickly dismiss a request for reinstatement to focus moreso on the present threat of world annihilation. Despite what you think, Vaeldris, there is that issue. The nobility simply try to pretend it's not a problem."
"As always." Vaeldris waved his hand dismissively. "So I presume then you are not upholding your promise like I expected and are instead dismissing my request."
"I am simply stating that right now, your vote would fail or at least be deadlocked for a while. I cannot focus on convincing the other lords whilst I am away on the battlefield, now can I? When the threat of the Legion has been taken care of, then I shall bring it up for consideration." Vaeldris scoffed at that, rolling his eyes as he looked to Succoria who spoke up.
"The Gilded Lands would only benefit from house Dawngrasp's reinstatement. It not only serves as a defense against the eastern troll tribes of the Wild Woodlands, but it also has various resources to trade."
"I know what it has, Lady Blackfyre. Look, I can try to do what I can to convince the others but-"
"Your vote would be enough." Vaeldris interrupted. "You are a powerful lord; one word is all it would take to at least make enough consider." He was right, but Aurelian needed to convince them otherwise. He couldn't tell them his concerns and earn yet more enemies.
"I shall bring it up with Lord Moonsworn. I am travelling to Waycrest for dinner in two days’ time and intend to discuss several matters with him. I shall bring up your reinstatement and gauge his reaction. If it is poor, then I won't be able to simply sway them all with a vote." Vaeldris opened his mouth to speak further, though Succoria spoke first.
"Thank you, Lord Indaris. Right now, we would all benefit from their reinstatement. Now more than ever we must be united, for dark shadows still threaten our home. The demons will not give up their prize here so readily. Already we have found demonic activity amidst both of our lands, and I’m sure there is more westward." Aurelian did not know there was evidence amidst the eastern lands, though he rarely heard from them despite being so close.
"Yes, I’m sure we can only benefit from House Dawngrasp rejoining the flock." Aurelian offered a smile. "You can help your case Vaeldris by proving to the other lords your loyalty to Quel'thalas...and by not destroying their furnishings." He curled a lip as he saw the scratches from Vaeldris' claws on the table.
"Bah." Vaeldris rose up, Succoria following suit. "We shall speak again when the Legion's threat is gone...and there better be an answer." With that he turned to leave, his threat still lingering in the air from venom laced words. Succoria sighed, bowing her head.
"Lord Indaris; a pleasure to see you again...and thank you for speaking with us."
"Why are you supporting him, Succoria?" Aurelian asked. He turned his attention onto the woman, brow furrowed. "You know as well as I the other lords do not trust him. I mean, just by looking at him you'd assume he was aiding the Legion. As well, my father was thorough in tarnishing Vaeldris' name."
"I support him because I must, Aurelian. I will not go into the details as to why but suffice to say it is mutually beneficial for us both if he were to rejoin the Gilded Lands. Alliances are hard to come by, and there may be a time where we must be all united. Besides, it denies Silvermoon an ally amongst our courts." Aurelian knew that was not the real reason, but he didn't care to question any further on the matter.
"As you say. Did you enjoy the wine?"
"Of course. I'm surprised you still remembered it was a favorite of mine."
"For a time, it was mine as well. Ah, but that is history now."
"Indeed it is. Now, I believe I have kept your attention long enough Lord Indaris. I am sure you have much to do, and we dropped in unannounced." She gave a low bow. "Until we meet again, my lord." He returned the bow, the woman turning and leaving Aurelian alone to his thoughts.
"So they came to discuss Vaeldris' re-entry into your 'Gilded Lands'?" Balasar leaned forward against his table, hands still pressed together as he listened to Aurelian's story.
"Yes. I told them that at that point it would not be favorable for them. The Legion was still threatening our world, and there were much bigger concerns then House Dawngrasp's reinstatement."
"How did they take it?"
"Well enough, all things considered. You know how family can be when they don't get their way."
"And what of Lady Blackfyre? Did either of them give away any suspicions there were demon problems?"
"No." Aurelian lied. He had left that part out of the story. "As far as I knew, everything was calm."
"So what happened next?"
"Next in our story is my dinner with Lord Moonsworn and his son..."
