South Park: SU
Since there are people who grew up with South Park and people who grew up with Steven Universe, I've figured "Why not combine the two?"
Now, in this universe, the Creators of South Park are in the positions of the Diamonds. Brian Graden is practically the "most important piece" of South Park. How? Simple. It all started in 1995, Graden hired Matt Stone and Trey Parker to create a video Christmas card thanks to their animated short "The Spirit of Christmas". Now, I'm not calling the creators "evil" because they're supposed to represent the Diamonds.
With that set in mind (pun intended), I hope you all enjoy...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[Setting: interior; Culver, Los Angeles, CA. Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, Butters, and Dovahkiin are at the entrance of the front gate. Kyle notices how nervous Dovahkiin appears to be.]
Kyle: Are you sure you wanna go through this? Dovahkiin: I'm sure, Kyle. Besides, there has to be a reason why my Powers only work on Facebook and Instagram. I just... want to know. Kyle: Okay, dude. Remember, it's never too late to back out if you're not feeling well. Cartman: Kahl, what about you? Kyle: What about me, fatass? Cartman: Well, you seem a bit flushed. Maybe it's a side effect of having sand in your va- Kyle: CARTMAN, SHUT THE [bleep] UP!!
[Almost as if on cue, the gate opens. The South Park preteens hesitate to enter, but they eventually do. As they walked inside the building, they were a little bit weirded out that there were multiple drawings of them on the walls.]
Stan: The hell? Dovahkiin: Are these more Yaoi fanarts? Kyle: Well, some of them are, but they look professionally drawn. Kenny: What the [bleep] is this place?
[Suddenly, a couple of voices from one room.]
Mr. Parker: Holy shit, dude. Mr. Stone: I know, right? It's as if Walt Disney heard Mickey's voice for the first time. Stan: Who the hell are you guys?! Mr. Parker: Duh, we're you're creators! Mr. Stone: And your voice actors. Kyle: So, you're both God? Cartman: Oh-ho-ho, Kahl. You're going straight to hell for being Jewish! Mr. Stone: Nah, he's safe. Mr. Parker: Besides, Cartman. The seat we saved for you would be too big for him. Cartman: AYE! Mr. Stone and Mr. Parker: *laughs* Mr. Parker: Now, which one of you guys asked about "Yaoi fanarts"? Dovahkiin: *slowly raises his hand* Uh... I did, sir. Mr. Parker: Oh my god... There he is, our pride and joy wrapped in a shy and thoughtful package! Dovahkiin Jarvis-Affini! Dovahkiin: Y-you knew my parents? Mr. Stone: Actually, that's a funny story. You see- Mr. Parker: We actually have a "Chris" and "Kelly" who works with us! They tried really hard to have kids, but they couldn't. So, we made it up for them by making a South Park version of them and you! Dovahkiin: *astonished* Wow... So, I really am that important? Mr. Parker: Of course, kiddo! So, what brings you hear? Kyle: Wait, didn't you text us this location? Mr. Stone: We used to do that for our True Fans, but we stopped when middle schoolers became our fans.
[When Kyle shows the Creators the text, their eyes widen in shock...]
Mr. Parker: That is not our text. Dovahkiin: Who's is it? Mr. Stone: There's only one person that texts that perfectly. Butters: Who? Mr. Parker: Exec. Graden. [Beat.] Stan: Who? Mr. Stone: He's our Media Executor. He's one of the two reasons why we have paychecks. Dovahkiin: What's the other reason? Mr. Parker: Our fans. No, our true fans. You see, the reason why we created you guys was because you reminded us of our childhood. Example? Kenny, you reminded us of our childhood friend who always wore an orange hoodie due to being poor and would mostly skip school. Mr. Stone: *laughs* Yeah, whenever the teachers would ask about his whereabouts, we would go "Kenny died"! *laughs some more*
[As the group laughs about it, an average-looking man makes his way to them, sporting what looks like the Joker from Batman smiles normally.]
Exec. Graden: What is going on, Parker? Stone? Mr. Stone: N-nothing, sir. Exec. Graden: Nothing "what"? Mr. Stone: Uh, sorry! Nothing, "sir". Exec. Graden: That's better. *notices Dovahkiin* Who let this background character into this building? Dovahkiin: "Background character"...? Kyle: Uh, you did? You sent us the coordinates! Exec. Graden: Oh, right. The social medias... Dovahkiin: Um, excuse me. What did you mean when you called me a "background character"? Mr. Parker: Kid, no! Exec. Graden: I mean, you weren't supposed to have a life like the rest of the main and supporting cast. You were supposed to blend into the background. Dovahkiin: *taken aback* B-but, my parents... They- Exec. Graden: Background characters, too. *looks at the Creators* I suppose this was your doing, correct? Dovahkiin: *to Mr. Parker* You knew about this? Mr. Parker: *feels guilt* We didn't know... Mr. Stone: *looks away in shame* ...how to tell you.
[This type of news broke Dovahkiin. He thought that he was almost like the chosen one (but without the "getting nailed" part). Cartman noticed Dovahkiin's broken state and did something that nobody would've guessed...]
Cartman: Okay, that's enough. Dovah has been through a lot, give him a break. Exec. Graden: Eric Theodore Cartman being respectful? Oh no, we can't have that. *snaps his fingers, Cartman falls limp* Kyle: *stunned* Eric...? Exec. Graden: Kyle Broflovski being concerned for Archie Bunker Jr.? Oh no, we can't have that. *snaps his fingers, Kyle falls limp* Butters: Leave them alone! Exec. Graden: Leopold Stoch being supportive of his bullies? Oh no, we can't have that. *snaps his fingers, Butters falls limp* Stan: *looks at Dovahkiin, who's still broken* Come on, Dovah! Do something! Exec. Graden: Stanley Marsh forgetting that he's a main character? Oh no, we can't have that. *snaps his fingers, Stan falls limp* Now, we- Wait... Where's the running gag in the orange hoodie? Mr. Stone: By the time you got here, Kenny got bored, took a bottle of my dad's glaucoma medicine, got [bleep]ed up, placed his tongue in an electric pencil sharpener, bled out, and died. Mr. Parker: Holy shit, you saw that? Mr. Stone: Didn't need to. Mr. Stough texted a photo with a description of it. *shows it to them* Dovahkiin: *snaps out of it, looks around, then at them* Why...? Why are you guys doing this to us? Exec. Graden: Why? To get back to the drawing board, of course. During the first season of South Park, it was just a TV show about kids being neglected by their parents until something bad happened. Now, every episode has gone so political, that one would think that it airs on the same channel as FOX News! *sighs as he collects himself* But now, that'll all change. Parker, Stone, bring the background character to me.
[They hesitate, but...]
Dovahkiin: *looks up at them* Mr. Parker: Sorry, kid. Mr. Stone: But, he's the reason why our kids have stuff and food.
[After snapping his fingers ambidextrously, he aims both of his index fingers at Dovahkiin, and pulls him apart via "the Force". Instead of forcing his existence to disappear, something else happens... Instagram!Dovahkiin, Facebook!Dovahkiin, and husk!Dovahkiin floats for a bit. Then, husk!Dovahkiin falls limp; barely alive. Instagram!Dovahkiin and Facebook!Dovahkiin both look at each other in wondered awe and at husk!Dovahkiin with a perplexed expression then shares the same worrisome expression with the Creators.]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And that's only the first part of "South Park Meets the Creators".
I'm aware that it does contain OOC with Cartman and Kyle, but this does happen when the South Park kids are now preteens; despite them being fictional, people can change as they get older.

Costume Breakdown: South Korean Production
Finally got around to doing a write-up on the South Korean costumes! So without further ado, a few general notes:
The costumes were seemingly all made by UK-based teams and makers. More detail below on each.
As a result, there’s not really any major design changes from the more recent UK costumes. Unless otherwise noted, you can assume that most details are pretty standard.
As always, the boots were custom La Duca. They were most likely embellished by Crystalled by Jane, who had done all the UK boots from very early on, but I couldn’t confirm that. Cleves has the usual thigh highs, but everyone else has a single strap (the double thickness) which the UK has slowly been standardizing to.
The actors, with a few exceptions, seem to be wearing their own hair rather than wigs.
The actors have the Roman numeral earrings.
The actors have the same glitter IEMs style as the UK cast.
As usual, the actors have makeup looks that line up with the popular styles in their country. In line with K-beauty trends, these queens generally have more subdued makeup looks than what we've usually seen in the US/UK and sometimes Aus.
Tumblr media
Aragon: 이아름솔 (Lee Arum-soul) and 손승연 (Son Seung-yeon/Sonnet) I can’t confirm who made these costumes. They were possibly made by WhiteStar Costume, who made the most recent West End cast change Aragon costumes. It also might have been made by Rainbow Mascots, who made Jarneia Richard Noel’s costume for Hampton Court. Just like all other recent UK costumes, there’s black threaded through the chains of the necklace. Lee Arum-soul has her straight bob with peak-a-boo black/blonde coloring. Son Seung-yeon has her curled blonde hair. For both the front sections are just pulled loosely back; this isn't out of the norm historically, but it does differ from the French braids that are slowly being standardized in the US/UK/sometimes NCL.
Tumblr media
Boleyn: 김지우 (Kim Ji Woo/Jennifer) and 배수정 (Pae Su-jeong/Shannon) Most recent Boleyn costumes have been made by White Star Costumes, but I’m not positive that these are. This costume uses the darker monotone green vinyl. It was introduced for Broadway with reopening, but has only been making its' way over to the UK in recent months. The skirts are also proportionally wider and longer than most recent skirts. Kim Ji-Woo has her bangs styled to the side and front. They both have green clip-in hair extensions.
Tumblr media
Seymour: 박혜나 (Park Hye-na) and 박가람 (Park Ga-ram) These costumes were most likely made by Kirsti Reid. Just like all other recent UK costumes, there’s black threaded through the chains of the necklace.
Park Hye-na has a little bit stronger of a side part to accommodate her widow's peak, while Park Ga-ram has a stronger center part (although usually still styled slightly to the side). The softly styled front is in line with typical US wigs, but differs from most UK which usually is pulled fairly straight back.
Tumblr media
Cleves: 김지선 (Kim Ji sun) and 최현선 (Choi Hyun-sun) The costumes seem to have been made by Paul Aspinall. He has been the primary UK Cleves costume maker in recent years.
Both queens have a front bump with small buns, in the same style as what Rachel Rawlinson wears on the West End. They also have a temporary red hairspray used on the front and separate red bright red extensions added to the back of their hairstyle, although it seems like there's been some variation and change in those specifics even throughout the run.
Tumblr media
Howard: 김려원 (Kim Ryeo-won) and 솔지 (Solji) The costumes may have been made by Rainbow Mascots, who made Aimie Atkinson’s costume for Hampton Court, but I can’t confirm that. Note that Solji has flat boots due to an injury. Just like most other productions, Kim Ryeo-won and Solji have a ponytail hairpiece attached over their own hair. At the time of their debut, every other current Howard’s hair was pulled directly back into that ponytail piece. Instead of that, both have a side part with hair pulled to either side and a few small wispy bangs. (Note: Lou Henry has since debuted with a side swept front style as well)
Tumblr media
Parr: 유주혜 (Yoo Ju-hye) and 홍지희 (Hong Ji-hee) The costumes were made by Ashleigh Cherry Costumes, who has been the primary UK Parr costume maker in recent years.
Both actors have the same front bump, braid, and back ponytail that we’ve been seeing become standardized for non-Black Parr actors. The ponytail sits lower here than for most other variations of the hairstyle.

Campus CEA Paris-Saclay, Neuroscience Institute
A house for researchers and research The “Plateau de Paris-Saclay” is the upcoming major elite university campus in France. It is the French answer to American universities such as Columbia and Harvard. Situated twenty kilometers south of Paris an international center for technological research is being built on this campus. Over the long term, nearly three thousand billion euros have been earmarked for this purpose. (https://ift.tt/3eaW6QS) The CEA (Commissariat à l’énergie atomique) is a leading research institution in the fields of energy, environment technology and health. In 2013, it has announced an invited competition for a neuroscience institute for about 350 scientists and 40 students. 59 offices applied, and the winning project was designed by Dietmar Feichtinger Architectes, the lead team, together with Celnikier & Grabli Architectes. The building was delivered in March 2020.
Technology and well-being “It was a challenge to ensure constantly controlled conditions for scientific research,” explains architect Dietmar Feichtinger “and at the same time to create spatial qualities including natural daylight, fresh air and a relationship with the surroundings. We managed to fulfil both aspects with equal priority”. The required areas – research, laboratories, offices, foyer, and auditoriums – are subject to various access restrictions, which result from the coherent organization itself. Three incised and accessible inner courtyards and transparent bridges create work and laboratory spaces lit by daylight, as well as the informal communication areas essential for modern research.
Distorted perception Surrounded by trees, the Institute of Neurosciences is close to the CEA’s atomic research, which will create synergies. “We wanted to preserve the trees in order to fit the auditorium into the landscape of the campus park and at the same time create a public space” explains Dietmar Feichtinger. The low, triangular-shaped entrance rises to the south of the four-story cubic building, which is 95 meters long and 50 meters wide. It frames a forecourt with a water basin, which follows the axes of the neighboring research buildings. The roof of the entrance building tapers slightly upwards. Its underside, made of polished stainless steel, reflects the environment in a seemingly distorted perspective. Depending on the angle of view and daylight, it appears different. The changing perception accompanies the path to the entrance of the institute. It is located between the auditorium and the foyer. The polished stainless steel is reflected in the reception area, a single flight of stairs leads to the gallery on the first floor. Eight meters of room height, corner glazing and oak parquet flooring create a welcoming foyer that also provides access to the auditorium and seminar rooms. This is the Institute’s calling card and its interface with the public: events can be organized in this space, which extends to the forecourt through wide opening glass doors.
The central part for research A facade of concrete panels and narrow glass slits surrounds the research area behind it. The functioning of neurons is studied on living organisms such as fish. These are kept in aquariums under constant conditions (water temperature, light). This applies to all laboratories with animals. The architects have concentrated these strictly regulated areas, with their high technical requirements, on the ground floor and the basement.
They form the core of the institute: a schematic circuit of the corridors with aquariums, enclosures, and laboratories. Perfect details, coordinated with material and function, characterize the work of Feichtinger Architectes. They were indispensable for this building. The white, seamless machine room for neurological research seems almost abstract – a separate technical floor was incorporated for its operation. A loading area at the back is used for the delivery of animal feed, living organisms and waste collect. Spatial requirements are constantly changing: a supporting structure made of reinforced concrete allows the various entities to be reprogrammed as required.
An optimal workplace and research space About 350 scientists work on the upper levels. Open rooms with plenty of daylight, beautiful views and generous circulation areas invite for exchange and create optimal working conditions. Informal communication is the basis for scientific innovation. Three inner courtyards with greenery and sun terraces serve as open controlled outdoor spaces. This is where people like to spend time and meet each other. These courtyards also provide natural light for the offices and laboratories in the depth of the building.
Low window parapets of 70 cm enforce the natural light. Open installations run along the exposed concrete ceiling. The offices are equipped with wood fiber based soundproofing panels on the ceiling, welcoming light grey rubber floors. The walls on the corridor side are partially made of glass. This creates a friendly and transparent atmosphere. Here too, flexibility is maximized. “We can transform offices into laboratories and laboratories into offices,” says Feichtinger. The grid, load-bearing access cores and lightweight construction walls make this possible.
The three levels are clearly structured: Along the horizontal window stripes of the facade made of metal panels towards the courtyards and opal glass panels towards the outside, the offices and laboratories are aligned along a bright central corridor, from which two further corridors run at right angles. These corridors are connected by glass walkways to the offices and laboratories opposite.
“The building is very efficient,” says Feichtinger. “The walkways create short connecting paths.” The interwoven wings with the footbridges divide the open interior space into three courtyards. Approximately 15 meters wide and 24 meters long, they move diagonally through the volume of the building, slightly offset from each other.
Thus, they respond to the different depths of the office areas, create individual locations, and allow to explore the building via the open spaces. “People who are researching here should meet each other – that’s why we have attractive outdoor patios, where you can also work of course”, says Dietmar Feichtinger. The access areas are very attractively designed. Through the glazed walkway you can see the yards, the wide staircases and the galleries. “You’re not necessarily supposed to wait for the lift, you’re invited to walk up the stairs.”
As Dietmar Feichtinger stated: “Ensuring constantly controlled conditions for scientific research was a technical challenge. We also wanted to create spatial qualities such as natural daylight, fresh air, and a relation to the surrounding. We fulfill both aspects with equal priority”.

Our Coffee Shop Soundtrack
read it on the AO3 at http://ift.tt/2loIQg4
by ZeusComplex
Tweek Tweak is anything but an average high school boy. He has some major ticks, and he is easily set into a panic. He is what most his "friends" refer to as a spaz. As a highschool junior, however, Tweek has much more to focus on than some stupid boys who never managed to grow up trying to bring him down. He is currently trying to keep his grades up, all while managing a full-time job at his parents coffee shop. Lucky for him, after hitting 8th grade, his parents felt like promoting him from coffee tester, to a server. They felt they were much more likely to not be sued if they waited for him to hit an older age to let him out of the backroom most the time. Other than those worries, Tweek had nothing else to worry about, except, well, everything that could ever possibly happen in his life. (Note: Due to the name of this fic, I figured it'd be best to put the name of songs as the chapter names that remind me of my boys or just are clever for the chapter or just if I like the song! I feel like I have a really good music taste so also check the music out if you're lookin' for a sick new artist!)
