I have a theory about the sonic movies for you Sonic fans:3

ok so

In the first movie, Maddie and Tom meet Sonic. They adopt him as their kid. That’s one kid

In the second movie, Maddie and Tom adopt two more kids, Knuckles and Tails

My theory is that in the third movie, Maddie and Tom adopt three more kids. That’s Amy, Shadow, and Rouge. Therefore Maddie and Tom gain an amount of kids by the movies!! 1,2 and then 3
