here’s my take on the ship thingy goin’ around. I got into South Park not shipping anybody, but wasn’t too hot abt kyman when I started lookin up SP fandom stuff online. Their dynamic quickly became a fav, but I didn’t ship them— until I got curious and a buddy of mine talked me thru it. To this day I don’t have eyes for any other ship but kyman, god bless ✌🏼

Hello good here I bring you a drawing, look passing context of this in a nutshell I was here on IG watching videos and in that I see a guy with some lightning McQueen sandals and with the song in the background, and in my mind I said to myself "Ha, that would be Craig" and I start thinking and I say, "Hey how would an AU be where Craig will be a racer called Red Racer and he has to pass some events from the movie".

And that's where I got this stupid idea for an AU Hahaha, I did design and all of them, and to make some things make sense I would change it slightly, because well, here they are humans not cars, here cars will only be used in some parts, because I think it's very obvious that some scenes could easily be of someone running or switching.

My attempt at summarizing the Stolkien (and Shenny) Cowboy AU thus far (that I've been workshopping with @pcstan of course) under the cut 🐎

Takes place in a small rural town, still undecided if it should still be called South Park or not, set during a classic wild west era. The Marshes have a regular old farm and are neighbors to the Blacks that are city folk that have moved into town after inheriting a few acres of land from a distant relative. Stan and Tolkien becomes fast friends and they, Kyle and Kenny daydream about becoming runaway cowboys when they're older for their own seperate reasons. But when the opportunity to run finally arises at about age 15, only Stan and Kyle actually leave. Stan and Tolkien mutually resent each other - Stan for Tolkien not leaving with him and Tolkien for Stan abandoning his home. They were very much sweethearts without knowing it and so the fallout between them is a lot more bitter and unresolved than with anyone else.

Tolkien stays behind because his parents have passed and the land he inherits is all he has left of them and Kenny stays behind for the sake of his family and for the town (I'll elaborate in a bit). Stan has Kenny promise to look after Shelly in his absence, which Kenny is deeply dedicated to if also partly out of his long unrequited love for Shelly since childhood. Tolkien and Shelly also grow close platonically and regard each other as family.

Tolkien grows up to be the wealthy owner of the town's saloon wherein he employees and thus provides for his friends including Craig, Tweek, Kenny, Bebe and of course Shelly, who works as a saloon girl. Shelly struggles in her job as an enterainer with her abrasive personality, but is grateful to Tolkien for the job, housing and hospitality he gives her - people assume the two are romantically involved, but it is far from the truth. Tolkien is still pining for Stan, though he would never admit this, and Shelly (and anyone who pays attention, really,) knows this. Kenny grows up to become very much a nobody during the day, so poor he relies on the church's generosity and works odd jobs all around town - but at night he is the vigilante cowboy Mysterion, who just happens to have a chaste affair with Shelly. Eventually Kenny reveals his identity and confesses his love to Shelly and the two marry, but just when they settle down and are starting their own family, Stan and Kyle come back to town. Its been 15 years.

Stan and Kyle are now outlaws on the run and seek to hide out in town for a bit until the heat dies down. With them they've got their lil gang which includes David, Trent Boyett and Dog Pu (just randoms they've gathered throughout their lil adventures). Of course nobody's happy to see them, very much least of all Tolkien, who is cold and passive aggresive toward them both, but especially Stan. They have a lot of unresolved tension to work through until they eventually sloooowly achingly and hesitantly crawl toward being finally lovers, most of the effort to getting there being on Stan's part. From friends to sweethearts to exes to strangers to enemies to lovers, yknow yknow. Kenny and Shelly desperately try and hide their relationship from Stan for as long as they possibly can because he'd definitely lose his shit if he were to find out (and he will) but its quite difficult since Shelly is very, very pregnant at this point.

Other notable characters of course include Cartman and Butters who are trying desperately to swindle Tolkien into handing his land over by many means and failing miserably. One of these attempts is Cartman trying to set up Nichole and Tolkien, even though Tolkien is very much a, um, "bachelor", as it were. They have their own gang which includes Clyde, Kevin and even our local priest Scott. There is Wendy, who was arranged to marry Stan since they were little kids but naturally that fell through - now she works as the teacher in the small chapel school they have. Jimmy is our sheriff with Timmy as his deputy. Craig and Tweek work as bartenders (and of course Tweek also plays the piano at times) at the saloon while Bebe is also a saloon girl.

Aaaaand that's about it for now. Not sure if I'm forgetting anything. This AU is very much my brainworms atm - I've never listened to so much country music in my life. If y'all have any questions please ask me or @pcstan cuz it's all we can think about. Ciao!!!

it's style this time!!! thanks so much for the tag @foursaints i've been working diligently on this fic and it's kind of been stressing me out. this feels like i'm getting some... recognition for my efforts lmao

“I want to play a different game today,” said Kyle as he stomped towards Stan, harsh footsteps digging trenches into the fresh snow. “Why don’t you be a bandit, and I’ll be the Sheriff, and I can try and stop you from robbing the saloon.” Most days Stan was Kyle’s partner in crime-stopping, Sheriff Marsh. “What, so I’m a shitty partner?” Stan was tired. Using his gloved hand, he dusted fresh powder off a rock so he could sit without getting his ass wet. The revolver was becoming a nuisance in his grasp; he threw it down into the snow and shoved his fists in his jacket pocket. “No! You can be the Sheriff if you want. I don’t really care.” Stan knew Kyle well enough to sense that he did care. It had been difficult over the past few months to get him to take that damn vest off. Stan was mystified by it, the procurement of power through an article of clothing, and the way Cartman only seemed to be intimidated by Kyle when he was wearing it. Thin and cheaply-riveted leather might as well have been a bulletproof vest. Stan looked to the toy gun at his feet. Perhaps Kyle was trying to share his newfound empowerment with him and that was the purpose of the gift. He looked so free when they played these games, running around and asserting his jurisdiction over their imaginary outlaws. “It’s okay. The vest doesn’t fit me anyways.” They had tried once to put it on him but couldn’t stretch it over the span of Stan’s back. Fresh off of Kyle it was warm, and Stan thought about how warm it would be now, immersed in Kyle’s coat, sweat-tinged, drowning in his body heat, and felt regretful for how early his shoulders had broadened.

South Park Kids Playing Mafia (part 1 maybe)

Kyle

-constantly gets either killed or accused of killing

-it starts of purely coincidental (at least killing him wise)

-but then he keeps getting chosen even when he’s not playing

-it pisses him off a lot

-Usually either gets chosen as the doctor or stays as just a regular citizen

Stan

-Is the sheriff occasionally

-often times he’s just a citizen and doesn’t even get chosen to get killed

-when he’s the mafia he usually chooses Kyle just to fuck with him (though everyone does that)

-terrible at defending himself when he gets accused for murder because he’s just like “I did not do it”

Kenny + Butters

-When the narrator goes “doctor/mafia wake up” Butters accidentally exposes himself by going “okay! :D” and everyone is like “BUTTERS NO”

-Kenny on the other hand knowing damn well he is not the doctor or mafia will still say something when the narrator goes “wake up” just to piss off everyone

Cartman

-I actually don’t really have much for him I didn’t really think about him at all when doing this

-he makes up stupid ways for Kyle to die when he’s the narrator

Jimmy

-LOVES to be the narrator

-Comes up with names for the town and often very creative ways for people to die

-Sometimes takes suggestions from Butters for what to name the town

-likes to crack jokes or make puns when telling the story

Recently been in a cowboy mood so that's what I'm currently doing. Making a wild west / cowboy au.

Half based on facts half based on the stories, movies and stuff. I don't have anything drawn for it yet but I will say that some characters are based on their phone destroyer adventure theme cards. Like sheriff Cartman and gunslinger Kyle.

Anyways, the town it's mostly based in is called Snake Creek so that'll most likely be the tag and au name.

Squidbillies #27: “The Good One” | March 3, 2008 - 12:00AM | S03E07

An okay Squidbillies. In this one, Lil has given birth to a litter of baby squids after having several men bust inside her. She’s a prostitute, you see. Early tries to dispose of them in the local lake, letting the audience quietly make the joke in their heads about how funny it is to “drown” squids. I have hazy memories of previous episodes making fun of this discrepancy; the fact that the Cuylers don’t live in water and can’t breathe in it or even swim. ANYWAY, They get busted by Sheriff, who takes them all home. There Early begins to be won-over by a particular squid, a rowdy boy who has knifed a few of his siblings to death. He steals Sheriff's service pistol and blows the top-half of Sheriff’s head off with it. It’s honestly a pretty satisfying moment as far as gratuitous violence goes. Good animation, funny and gruesome visuals.

This is Herschel, the titular “Good One”. The rest of the episode is about Early nurturing him in their shared rowdy boy ways. Early ignores Rusty, much to his dismay. Early gets some form of comeuppance when a father-son camping trip ends with Early left for dead after having his tentacles be run over by a train. The bittersweet ending has Early wondering what will become of young Herschel.

Nothing too spectacular here. There are, I guess, a few notable things about this episode. One is the scene where Rusty takes the baby squids to the movies and there’s an Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters poster. The other thing is the opening of the episode has to do with Early getting a pair of Truck Nuts instead of paying to have his brakes fixed. The Truck Nuts fad was indeed becoming obnoxiously ever-present at this time. Wikipedia claims they were a thing since the 1980s? Huh! Anyway, he mentions the website chrometrucknuts.org which turns out goes to a real website. It’s mildly amusing, just like the episode it came from.

What's your favorite "hippie episode" of a sitcom? The South Park one? The King of the Hill one? The Simpsons one? The Family Guy one?

Oh my god, I can’t think of a particularly good one to be honest. I literally gave this one some thought, too. (Cartman voice) I hate hippies.

Would you describe yourself and your lifestyle as bohemian? It's just that some of your anecdotes about your life feel very bohemian/new bohemian. Hmm?

Maybe I should start. I tend to refer to it as “stubbornly non-functional”. I don’t know if I can claim bohemianism because I have a dumb job for dipshits and I follow their dress code and stuff. For more information on being a bohemian please consult this valuable text.
