It took me this whole week but I finally finished him. I went slow and took my time and tried new coloring techniques. All in all, I’m pleased but I also learned a lot. I’m going to post a close up too because someone has to see his details lol!

I got sharingan on the brain. I’m playing with the idea of it being more alien looking up close. I’m not articulate but alas it will not stop me this time. So sorry if this is nonsense ANYWHO

Kishi played the monster concepts almost exclusively to the tailed beasts/hosts and Akatsuki and dabbled in horror with Obito’s fucked up corpse tree. But I’ve been thinking on how deeply more off-putting the sharingan could have been. Almost triggering a sort of uncanny valley response in anyone caught in the line of sight ya know. A whole clan of people who can see shrimp colors basically, which is also why Kakashi’s one eye sucks all the energy from him. He’s used to two pupils not five of these damn things. First time he uses it he vomits and has vertigo for a month. He’s not used to the feeling that his eye seems to have a mind of its own that on some level it is changing him. He hates the hospital because every time he goes he finds out some new way his body has adapted to it. Kinda ruins your dead friend if you realize his eyeball is rewiring your optic nerves of its own volition. So if never goes he never has to find out.

Uchiha from a distance appearing totally normal until one gets up close and personal and you’re face to face with this multi-pupil that pulsates red. Each pupil tracking something. Ya know how if you stare at a Rothko too long the colors seem to just be alive it’s like that. If this thing copies jutsu then it can be taken further in order to copy one an Uchiha kinda just has to be able to mutate a little bit a la Juugo style but not as extreme. As a treat.

Itachi with these almost mantis shrimp looking eyes since he never shuts the damn thing off. Something more visceral than what we get mostly because I think it would be fun and also I kinda miss Sasuke’s cursed form, very fun, kinda cunty.
