Could we please get some relationship headcanons for the Hifumi, Kawakami, Sae, and Takemi?

(note: im not comfortable writing teen/18+ relationships, so for kawakami, sae, takemi, their s/o’s are going to be 18+! in addition, phantom thievery antics will be limited to you and your gf knowing about akira's escapades, but not actually being involved.)

HIFUMI TOGO

- this shogi dork would be such a polite and sweet girlfriend.

- i think she’s be the type of girl to instinctively use honorifics, weeks into your relationship. she’s also a little stiff, partly because her reputation means that she has a lot of male admirers and she doesn’t want any harm to befall you. give her time and encouragement; by the time your one month hits, she’ll be so comfortable she doesn’t need to think before she calls you by your first name and holds your hand in public.

- dates, surprisingly enough, aren’t often shogi-related. she understands the importance of taking brief breaks, and will gladly follow along with anything that you suggest. movie and cafe outings are particular favorites of hers, since she gets to discreetly find out more about you.

if you do happen to enjoy shogi, or want to learn, she’s more than willing to play it with you on a date. she won’t go easy on you, and if you happen to find her antics cute or endearing, then she’ll make sure to act like herself around you. it’s a sign of trust!

- assuming that you’re part of the phantom thieves, hifumi will be worried about you every time you leave with the others. make sure you text her to let her know when you’re back, or meet her in person; otherwise, she might be inconsolably mad for the next day or two. let her take care of you; it’s the only way she knows how to help.

when her mother has her change of heart, hifumi is incredibly grateful. the following night, when you’re well-rested, she might allow some…other activities to take place as a marker of her gratitude. it’s definitely not a common occurrence, though!

- hifumi is a very quiet girl. i think her love language would reflect that; she prefers quality time or acts of service over anything else. show your love by giving her your full attention on days where the two of you have nothing planned, or make sure she drinks water and eats something healthy the morning of a competition. she’ll make sure to return the favor in any way she knows how.

- her mature appearance, while off-putting for some, may come undone the longer you stay by her side. it’s a marker of her love for you, that she allows herself to unwind around you.

SADAYO KAWAKAMI

- kawakami has never been in a relationship, but dammit if she doesn’t know how to make you happy.

- i think she'd be the type of girlfriend to put her all into supporting you, and dialing it down as the relationship goes. she's a little insecure about her age and appearance, so she'd rely heavily on outpourings of affection (and maybe a little quality becky time) to distract you from it. let her know that she looks quite lovely for her age, and that you couldn't care less; she'd be overjoyed to hear it!

- since she's busy grading papers and the like, especially once takase's guardians have their changes of heart and she doesn't need to worry about her maid job, dates are quick one-off events that let the two of you spend as much quality time together as possible. these include trips to the fishing pond, eating out at cheap restaurants, or even staying at home and watching a few episodes of your favorite show.

while she's moonlighting as a maid, and maybe even after, i think she'd amuse herself by using her customer service voice and teasing you with her "services." it's a nice way to let off some steam...and even better if you're a little into that kind of thing, since it leads into some other activities.

- kawakami has a lot of pent-up tension regarding akira's safety while he's off doing his phantom thievery. on days where a criminal receives a change of heart, give her a back massage and treat her to some sweets or the like, just to take her mind off how worried she is about her student. she's such a kind woman that, of course, it won't help out too much, but anything to make the load a little easier.

- i think her love language would be physical affection, as crazy as it sounds! her favorite thing in the whole wide world is sitting on your lap as she's grading papers, or feeling your arms around her shoulders or waist while she's doing chores. she loves being as close to you as possible, and makes sure to return the favor by pressing kisses against your cheeks and lips whenever she's able to!

- whether she's becky or sadayo, her love for her master is absolutely boundless. she'll follow you to the moon and back, and hopes that you'll stick by her side as long as possible as well!

SAE NIIJIMA

- everyone would have to do a double take when they find out that sae is dating you, even yourself.

- much like makoto, sae is very by-the-book when it comes to relationships, simply because the last time she had the chance to mess around with relationships was when she was in high school. it's not until after akira's confession that she's able to really unwind and spend time with you. make sure you support her until then, and spend as much time as possible afterward!

- time with you is one of the few things she'll forsake a promotion for, but that doesn't mean she fails to understand the importance of leisure time. on the off chance that she's not exhausted, she'd love to go somewhere sophisticated. perhaps an art museum, or the tokyo skytree in order to catch a glimpse of the city at night. if she's dead on her feet, though, be prepared for a night of nothing but cuddling.

if she has to miss plans with you because of an unexpected development, she'll always call home and let you know. she sounds genuinely upset every time it happens, knowing just how much your time together means to both of you. reassure her and let her know it's okay!

- her shadow in the metaverse would probably have a cognitive version of yourself by her side. when akira mentions this in the interrogation room, sae gets overprotective and demands to know how he knows about you. once explanations get underway, sae's main weakness is revealed: her love and affection for you.

in regards to akira and the phantom thieves, i think sae would trust you with the developments of the case, especially after the seventh palace. she'd be eternally grateful if you could support the kids while she's not there to inform them.

- as a public prosecutor/lawyer later down the line, the importance of words is something not wasted on sae. give her words of affirmation to express your love for her to the fullest: quick i love you's and i'm proud of you's before she leaves, text messages to make her smile while she's in the courtroom, or notes on her lunch if you decide to pack them.

- although her dedication to her job initially took first place above everything else in her life, as she learns to let go, you and makoto become not only the most important people in her life, but also the most important things in general.

TAE TAKEMI

- having a doctor as a girlfriend is one of the best or worst things in the world, depending on how well you take care of yourself.

- tae's confidence and blunt sarcasm morph into complete bluntness, hoping it'll distract from the fact that she kind of has no idea what she's doing. it's off-putting at first, since she'll take one look at you and rattle off symptoms without any provocation, but as your relationship progresses she'll drop the facade. that isn't to say she'll become demure (in fact, i'd go so far as to say she'd probably dominate any situation) but she definitely goes softer and sweeter around you.

- dates are either at night or on her days off, since she doesn't have much to go by in terms of time. her social battery is usually at a low, so queue up episodes of your favorite shows and help her make a late dinner. when she's especially tired, she's more than willing to fall asleep in your arms.

however, if you've been planning an outing for a long time (re: a week or more), she's willing to go anywhere. she especially enjoys places like kichijoji or akihabara, places where she fits right in with her outfit. she will not hesitate to destroy you in eating (or really any sort of) competitions, paying no attention to her own advice. how loving.

- with akira coming in almost every day to prepare for phantom thief business, and her business growing after oyamada's confession, be prepared to help her out at the clinic. she doesn't want you to get hurt administering or receiving any of the drugs, but she'll appreciate it if you bring her the items that she requests.

- with little to no time to spend together, she appreciates anything she can get. quality time and acts of service are the best ways to make her smile. keep her company during slow hours at the clinic, and bring her food and water if she's particularly busy and forgets to eat. she'll do the same in bounds, staying up until you fall asleep when she gets home and getting you access to the best medicines that she knows.

- as she grows to care for you more than anyone else in the world, her playful diagonses become purely out of concern for your well-being. she'd be abhorred to do anything to hurt you, and drops her sarcastic facade only when the two of you are alone. it's a marker of her trust that she hopes you won't take for granted.

Hifumi, Kawakami, Sae and Takemi Relationship HCs

Note: Reader isn't necessarily aged up for Takemi, Sae and Kawakami because you can date Takemi and Kawakami in the game, but if you're more comfortable aging up the reader, than go ahead.

Hifumi Togo

When you guys first meet, she's a little wary of you

But once you start seeing her more often, she comes to trust you

You spend most of your time at the church playing shogi with her

If you don't know how to play, she gladly teaches you

She honestly has fun teaching you but don't tell anyone

She gets embarrassed when she takes the game seriously, and blushes when you tell her how adorable she is

She starts to like you after a month of seeing each other

But you'll have to wait until her mother's heart is changed before you can date her

If you're a Phantom Thief and had a hand in changing her heart (and if you decide to tell her) she is shocked, but very grateful

After that, she confesses to you

In the beginning of the relationship, she tries to act like a "normal" girl, but once you assure her that she can be herself, she'll reveal herself to be a huge dork

Doesn't mind if you don't go to church with her. She'll appreciate it if you do, but will understand if you don't

Whenever you two aren't playing Shogi together, she loves to go on walks or hang out in parks

Not into PDA, but really likes to cuddle in private. If she's feeling it, she'll even hold your hand while you walk together

Sadayo Kawakami

What your relationship looks like depends on whether or not the reader is aged up

You can literally date her in the game don't come for me

If you aren't, she is SO ashamed to have a crush on you

You're her student, for god's sake!

She will take this to her grave, you'll have to confess first

Probably not gonna happen, but on the off chance you DO confess, she is very flustered

But will agree as long as it's kept secret

If you are aged up, she is a little embarrassed, but doesn't feel bad about it

She is shy when confessing to you, but is very happy when you accept her affections

Loves to wear her maid outfit to tease you

If it's before you max out her social link, she will be tired a lot and want you to hold her

If you start dating after you max it, she loves to take walks with you and tell you about her students

If you're aged up, she will come to you about lesson plans and ask for your advice and how to get the students' attention

Loves it when you massage her shoulders and back after a long day

Ends up relying on you quite a lot, but she assures you that you can rely on her as well

Doesn't mind PDA, loves to hold your hand when you walk together

If you're not aged up, she is very awkward

She is more lenient on you than other students and will call teachers to the office to give you some free time

Will gladly help you with any work she or another teacher assigns you

PDA is a HELL NO if you're a student

Teacher-student relationships are weird, but hey, if you want it, I won't judge

Sae Niijima

She met you through Makoto

She's so glad that Makoto has a good friend like you, especially with how busy she is

Eventually realizes that she wants you for herself (not in a yandere way)

She'll never be the one to confess though. It has to be you

Once you do confess, she is caught off guard but gladly accepts

Because of how busy she is, you don't get to see each other as often as you would like

Whenever she does get time off, she often wants to do something that involves both you and Makoto, because she doesn't get to spend a lot of time with her sister either

Sae presents herself as a strong and independent individual, so you'll have to remind her that it's ok to be vulnerable with you

That honestly takes a huge weight off her shoulders

In return, she is very supportive towards you as well, offering you advice and comfort when you need it

As a prosecutor, she is always impartial and unbiased, so she gives great advice

She's a little bit awkward about physical comfort, but she'll do it for you

Anything for her love

Sae is very touch starved, as she is always very busy with work, so she loves cuddling and being held by you

Not into PDA, when you get a chance to go out, and if you do, it'll be to a chill place like a cafe or a park

Makoto means a lot to Sae, so she definitely plays a big part in your relationship

Makoto really likes you btw, she sees you like a second sibling

Tae Takemi

This relationship will be a bit different depending on whether or not her social link is maxed

Before, she won't be around a lot and she'll be a little grumpy about things that happened at her job

Post maxed link, she'll be happier and more energetic, but she still won't see you very much due to continuing her focus on helping others

Either way, she'll need you to be there for her

She needs a shoulder to cry on and someone to vent to about her stress and worries about patients, medicines, etc.

She can't disclose patient records, but she will tell you her worries about a type of medicine or a healing process or procedure

She'll relax once you hug her though

Definitely a little touch starved, so she really likes it when you hold her hand or hug her

Persona 5 Ladies Relationship Headcanons pt. 2

Hifumi

She’s going to attempt to act “normal” in the beginning of the relationship but will quickly reveal herself to be a huge dork.

Will want to have shogi matches with you and if you don’t know how to play then she’ll gladly teach you.

She will get so flustered if you occasionally bring up one of the phrases she yelled out while playing Shogi.

She’s fine if you don’t want to go to the church with her. Will appreciate it if you do but she’d understand if you don’t want to.

Definitely going to want to go on walks and such to hang out when she’s not occupied with shogi.

Not a fan of PDA but loves to cuddle in private. Maybe somedays you’d get lucky and the two of you can hold hands on a walk.

Takemi

I can see this relationship being a bit different depending on if her social link is maxed or not.

Like before it’s maxed, she might not be around too often or when she is she’s dry and a bit negative about things due to what happened at her prior job.

Post maxed social link, she’s a lot more happier and more energetic about getting things done. But might spend less time with you due to throwing her focus back into helping others.

Either way, you’d be there for her and she’d need that. She’d want you to be her shoulder to cry on should she need it. She’d need you to talk to at lengths about different things and her stress and worries about new medicines and patients.

She can’t disclose any patient records with you, obviously, but she will state if she’s worried about someone’s healing process or stressing about a procedure which she’ll immediately relax about if you just pull her into a hug.

I can totally see Takemi being a bit touch starved so just hold her hand or hold her and she’ll feel like a huge weight is lifted off of her.

Sae

Really busy with work so you two probably don’t see each other as often as you’d like.

When she does get days off then she’d probably find something for you two to do with Makoto because she wants to include her family, who she also doesn’t really get to see as often as she’d want.

Sae presents herself as a really strong individual that is very determined with her goals so you’re going to have to be the one to remind her that it’s okay if she lets her guard down.

Honestly, just reminding her that she’s allowed to be vulnerable with you will be a weight lifted off her shoulders.

I can see Sae as being a bit touch starved because she’s so busy with work so she’s going to absolutely love cuddles and hand holding and just touching you/being touched in general.

Makoto is huge to Sae so she’s going to be a big part of your and Sae’s relationship.

Kawakami

She’s the one that needs a massage. She works as a teacher all day and she’s either standing or sitting and just really needs a massage.

Will absolutely don the maid outfit just to mess with you about getting the house cleaned or whatever. She’s definitely a tease when she wants to be.

Really depends on the timeline with Kawakami. If it’s before her maxed social link then she’s going to be very tired most of the time and just want to cuddle up to you and rest.

Post social link, she’s going to want to go on walks with you and tell you all about her day and her students.

She’s a teacher so you can expect her coming home with so many notes and lesson plans and end up asking for your advice now and then about ways to get student’s attention or just things she can do for them.

Definitely going to be relying on you quite a bit but will have a totally reenergized outlook (max social link). No matter what, she’s going to be happy to be with you.

favorite persona arcana list edit challenge

this was just a thing i wanted to do for myself and thought maybe other people would want to do it. the main goal of the challenge is to pick 1 character for each arcana listing that is your favorite and make an edit for them (or you could do a drawing or writing if you wanted, this is pretty loose).

the characters are from p1-p5 that have canon assigned arcanas, and for the cases in p3(p) where the slink does not match the arcana, the persona will be used for the main arcana, along with a few other minor changes to make the list more coherent.
