STP-UPLB’s 18th Anniversary
Our beloved organization celebrated its 18th anniversary last March 10, 2019. Its theme was "VICTORIOUS: Celebrating the triumphs of Social Technology by serving the masses." An exhibit was prepared and installed inside the CHE Lobby to celebrate the organization's anniversary and honor the masses that we serve.
Panel boards were made full of of the memories made by the present members. The STP-UPLB history was included as well as the explanation on what Social Technology is.
The activities that we have conducted for the past years can also be seen in the exhibit.

February Fair 2019
The STP-UPLB participated in the UPLB February Fair 2019 carrying the theme "Sulong Kabataan!: Pandayin ang Daan Tungo sa Malayang Bayan." The organization's alumni visited our booth to bond with the current members and share experiences they made in the organization.
We also had a Dress Up Day (DUD) during the fair. The members should wear clothes with sparkles. Best dressed members were acknowledged and given special prizes.

1st Wave Orientation (2nd semester A.Y. 2018-2019)
The first wave orientation for the second semester of A.Y. 2018 - 2019 happened last January 30 at CHE Lobby which carried the theme “ECHOES”. Jasmine Nicole Garcia and Carl de Torres were the hosts of the event who broke the ice and helped the orientees get to know each other.
The event was officially opened by STP-UPLB’s junior adviser Sir Ron Dangcalan. AVPs and testimonials were given to give a sneak peek into what the organization really is. Cyrill Esquivel, current STP-UPLB Secretary, gave the closing remarks.
Echoes of laughters and camaraderie were heard and felt during this event which amplified the inner selves of those present during that insightful night.

Last May 12, 2017, STP-UPLB had its second EDFest for 2nd semester AY 2017-2018. The Documentation and Education Committee invited two speakers for the EDFest part 2. The first speaker was Julian Manongdo, an executive officer of UP Babaylan, who tackled Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI). While the second speaker is our very own Pauline Malabanan, who is also an executive officer of Gabriela Youth - UPLB, who discussed Basic Women’s Orientation (BWO).

Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Teknolohiyang Panlipunan - UPLB (STP-UPLB) in partnership with Cancervants PH and its sponsors held AmBAGan: Para sa Kabataan last 26th of April 2016 at the College of Human Ecology Lobby.
Out of 92 attendees, there were 51 bags of blood collected. This will surely bring hope to the young cancer ward patients of National Children's Hospital.

Last April 8-9, 2017, Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Teknolohiyang Panlipunan - UPLB (STP-UPLB) held its annual HecoCamp in partnership with the Department of Human and Family Development Studies (DHFDS) and Department of Social Development Services (DSDS).
This year’s HecoCamp was held within the walls of the University of the Philippines Los Banos. It aims to enligthen the students of HUME 1 regarding the wonders of nature and the problems each sector of our society currently faces.
It was a 2-day activity, the first day was for a tour and a few talks and forums from established speakers while the second day was spent for a race full of challenges and games to be accomplished by every team

STAT 1 & MATH 14 TUTORIALS
Every semester STP-UPLB holds Stat 1 and Math 14 tutorials not only for its members but also for everyone who wants to sit in. Both Stat 1 and Math 14 tutorials have prepared its attendees for their upcoming midterm exams.
This semester our Stat 1 tutorials was held last March 16, 2017 at the CHE Multipurpose Hall with Sir John Lorenzo Yambot as our instructor.
On the other hand, our Math 14 tutorials was instructed by Sir Edd Francis Felix last March 22, 2017.

As the beloved organization turns 16 years old, STP-UPLB resident members prepared a week long festivity that emphasizes the triumphs the organization has accomplished.
There was an exhibit starring the history, activities, and the current resident members of the organization. The exhibit had a theme similar to the orientation held before which takes focus on the treasure of turning 16.
Ending the week long celebration with a bang, STP-UPLB held its very own Anniversary Party at Pansol last March 10, 2017. It was a night full of fun and games attended by the resident members and a few alumni. STP-UPLB turning 16 brought together the members and their alumni forging a stronger relationship and bond.

STP-UPLB resident members along with their alumni joined the annual College of Human Ecology sports fest entitled ACHEAN 2017: SIGLO. The theme was based on the different marginalized sectors of our society, wherein our organization represented the farmers and proudly waved the banner of team “TALA”.
This year STP-UPLB belonged to the Red team together with UP OIKOS (OIKOS) and UP Family Development Society (FDSOC). Various ball games and philippine games were held during the event every friday and saturday which lasted about a month long March to April.
The Red team may not have won every game but together we were able to bring home the title of Over-all Champion winning Women’s Basketball, Men’s Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Futsal, Patintero, Agawan Panyo, Sipa Ball, and Araw or Gabi.
STP-UPLB’s Mr. an Ms. ACHEAN representatives also grabbed the gold. They were declared as Best in Talent and with Althea Tagala crowned as Ms. ACHEan 2017 and Lolec Timbreza as 1st Runner-up.
As the ACHEAN ended we were able to forge friendships with our teammates, OIKOS and FDSOC, and at the same time strengthen the camaraderie not only within our organization but with various organizations stated in our college.

On the 20th day of February 2017 STP-UPLB held its Educational discussions at the UPLB SU Orgs. The resident members listened to the Mr. Jio Joshua Baldesimo as he tackles the current situation of Philippine Education.
