A carthaginian soldier just saw the current state of the Roman colloseum and started popping and locking and was mistaken for a buskers by most but not all passers by

I never understood the Roman Colloseum. Like, how can someone make a career out of fighting wild animals for people amusement? How can an audience be entertained by the spectical of human suffering?
I would much rather watch a white man drive himself to madness on YouTube playing Pokemon Kaizo Ironmon, like God intended.

Romulus: Modern people ugh
Dinos: What's up?
Romulus: Some bitch at the gym was saying they should just knock over all ancient roman ruins to built a parking lot or whatever
Dinos: Was that bitch you? You say that all the time. "Why don't they just demolish the colloseum, Dinos? Built some nice eight store apartments for the people"
Romulus: Never in my life... or death... did I say that
Dinos: Yes, yes... you did so on many occaisons, mainly when drunk and being a complete emotional wreck
Romulus: Nah man I'd NEVER call you Dinos... anyway... Some nerve!!! I get to say that if I want to, they don't
Dinos: ... I see
Romulus: They think they are so smart and all and meanwhile they literally built like this:
Tumblr media
Dinos: Is that... Naples?
Romulus: Don't shit talk about my kids, seriously stop it
Dinos: So... it is?
Romulus: Man you really want to get punched, don't you? Want to take it outside, huh?!
Dinos: No, not really. The weather is bad and I need to finish this thing actually
Romulus: I can finish you inside too, if you like
Dinos: Some other time, maybe.
Romulus: ugh... Can I watch television?
Dinos: sure

I love when youtubers have a rival it makes me feel like a Roman citizen watching matches at the colloseum and laughing at the futility of two people ripping each other's throats out for my entertainment only to live to entertain me again or to die a bloody death.

Taking the bus home...
The Colloseum remains the largest standing amphitheatre in the world, despite its age. Construction began under the emperor Vespasian in 72 and was completed in 80 AD. A very strange place. Many, many thousands of animals, Jews, Christians, and slaves perished here for sport over hundreds of years ... all part of Imperial Rome's political strategy to placate the masses who were underserved by the Roman government. Bread and circuses.

@legoarchitecturemoc @lego.iste @life_is_lego @lego_buildergs @legokinrell @lego #lego The Colosseum (/ˌkɒləˈsiːəm/ KOL-ə-SEE-əm; Italian: Colosseo [kolosˈsɛːo]) is an oval amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, just east of the Roman Forum. It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world, despite its age. Construction began under the emperor Vespasian (r. 69–79 AD) in 72 and was completed in 80 AD under his successor and heir, Titus (r. 79–81). Further modifications were made during the reign of Domitian (r. 81–96). The three emperors who were patrons of the work are known as the Flavian dynasty, and the amphitheatre was named the Flavian Amphitheatre (Latin: Amphitheatrum Flavium; Italian: Anfiteatro Flavio [aɱfiteˈaːtro ˈflaːvjo]) by later classicists and archaeologists for its association with their family name (Flavius).
