IMPORTANT ROAD RULE
If you drive past the police doing something such as doing a simple pull-over, a roadblock, or something similar, it is proper etiquette to flash your lights at any oncoming traffic as a signal that you passed law enforcement.
okay?
While driving, if you see law enforcement, flash your lights at oncoming traffic to notify them.
This is a very important old road habit that we cannot let die out.

How to Reinstate a Suspended Driver’s License
So you got your driver’s license suspended. You are not alone. Almost eleven million people get their licenses suspended every year. The question is, how do you resolve it?
Many people get suspended licenses for different reasons. The annoying part is the amount of time and money it will take to get it reinstated. It requires patience and following the instructions provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
One thing is for sure, if you have a suspended license, avoid driving at all costs. The risks of driving on a suspended license are not worth it. You could risk jail time and high fines if you get caught.
In order to get it reinstated, depending on your case, you’ll probably have to complete one or more of the following steps:
Take an Approved Class for Qualification:
If you got your license suspended because of a DUI, accumulating too many points, or driving recklessly, you’ll have to take an approved class to qualify for possible reinstatement. Whether it’s DUI programs or defensive driving assessments, taking these classes is required to lighten your case.
Pay the Fees that are Given:
When you get your hands on the application to reinstate your license, you’ll have to pay the fees to submit it. Each state charges differently based on its regulations and the severity of your case. Fines can range from as little as $5 (Wyoming) up to $1,200 (Massachusetts).
Wait out the Suspension Period:
Your suspension period can vary depending on your case and state. “Typically, license suspensions for getting too many tickets or violation points range from about 10 days to a year. The first suspension for traffic tickets is usually at the lower end of that spectrum (10 to 90 days or so). However, drivers who keep getting tickets after a suspension will be looking at longer suspension periods like six months or a year.”(nolo.com, 2022, Driver’s License Suspensions and Revocations).
Keep Your Record Clean:
Once you get your license reinstated, keep in mind that you are not off the hook. Make sure to have a clean driving record or risk getting your license suspended again. In some cases could even lead to your license getting revoked.
How to not get caught off guard?
Most drivers fail to realize that their licenses got suspended. It’s only until they get pulled over for a different reason.
The only way the DMV reaches out to you is by mail. It can take weeks to even months to receive the notice that your license has been suspended unless you physically go and find out from your local DMV. During that time frame, you can get pulled over for any reason and risk facing jail time without even realizing it.
How to get notified EASIER and FASTER:
Simple. Through a subscription service called Avoidsuspension.com. An easy, one-stop shop to get notified via email and text if your license becomes expired, suspended, or revoked.
No reason to spend hours at the DMV to find out your current status, wait on hold or deal with the DMW websites anymore.

so that's what i've been working on for the past 2 weeks!
i wanted to draw something for this intro ever since i first listened to it (as a companion piece to my other gur drawing, though it of course ended up being way bigger in scale), but it only really gripped me about halfway through PALISADE ep 18.
the next morning after that i listened to this narration on repeat for about 45 minutes and then made a big sketch on 4 sheets of paper at my desk at work.
anyways, i haven't listened to the new episode yet but i think i'm probably ready for whatever they're gonna throw at us with the next sortie. i'm gonna believe, against it all, in millennium break. for gur

As a community we need to more recognise Zane's or PIXAL's potentials to drive like absolute maniacs if they or the others are late for something.
No they don't get a single ticket because they've memorised the location of every Camara on the road, or they delete the evidence.

the thing I keep coming back to at the end of the day here is that luffy’s got some insane latent abandonment issues, and zoro and nami are the absolute surest thing he has. he has those two Locked The Fuck Down so hard he might as well have put a ring on it before they even hit loguetown and he knew they’d be his from the second he saw them. they’re his aces in the hole that he can always count on to help him cut through all the bullshit and get to the heart of the situation. something that always stands out to me is the way that when luffy and zoro end up tied up in a combat situation, it often falls to nami to direct and organize the crew (most notably in water 7); they’re his seconds in command, one to back him up on the battlefield and one to hold down the fort so he’s free to fight as he pleases. and in return for this faith and trust nami and zoro are genuinely the most obsessively devoted motherfuckers they’re capable of being! none of their dreams belong to just them anymore it’s THEIR dream to make luffy king of the pirates, THEIR dream to map the world, THEIR dream to become the best swordsman. frankly if they all loved each other any more than they do they might just burst
