To me, to this day, dieforellex’s “Surviving Peace” will be always my preferred ending for Shingeki no Kyojin. It has great character development and interactions, timeskip, the setting matches perfectly with what we’ve seen in canon (when the group travels to Marley), Hanji is still alive, SASHA is still alive, and the Titans are no more. No Marley, no ”the whole World hating on Eldians” plot, which is alright in my book. And juicy character development for Mikasa and her relationship with herself, with Levi and the world around her.

I think im going to take a small break. The finale had left me feeling very unfulfilled and pretty dissatisfied as a long-time viewer, that I couldn't really get any Rivamika work done, lol. As silly it may sound (it is), with the whole Rivamika erasure, It has been making me stray away from making anything. I'll still be active on the server, just not really in the mood or have any motivation to make any content as I used to. This really sucks ass for me because I really do love and enjoy making content. It's my elixir of life, my muse, the birth of my creative drive, and helped me realize I can be capable of doing a lot of things. But now, I feel pretty demotivated and found myself not wanting to do any work done. And I am a very ambitious person. This says something. I'm just going to take a break from making anything for now. Hopefully, I will get the motivation and drive again to make content for the thing I love the most. And I'm positive this can give me some fresh air to breathe and reconnect with Rivamika.

Although with my dissatisfaction and moping, I'm really happy we still got our crumbs, though. even if they erased 80% of it (still salty), RM are both alive in the end, and that's all that matters. Rivamika number 1 lolol.

But yeah, I'll be taking a break. This is just stressful for me, even as the most stubborn and ambitious motherfucker out there, I just need to back down and rest from the demotivating stress until I cool down and get back into action.

Don't mourn because I never say goodbyes. They're dreadfully boring.

I'll always have a crapton of problems with the ending (esp as a rm shipper who also kept loving eren), but snk finally ending-ending got me in my feels regardless. So i just wanted to express some appreciation, not only for your beautiful fix-it fic (levi and his mom!! mikasa protecting armin!! queen ymir the wise!! ), but for all your rm works. for loving this ship and for sharing your talent with us. for still being here, despite it all. for your shitposts and regular posts. you're a real one, alien, a wonderful, generous writer and just overall so hugely inspiring. we've always been so lucky to have you. thank you so much!

Thank you, anon! This is probably the nicest message I've ever gotten. I really am in my feels about SNK ending for real, even though my feelings on the series are very mixed, being a part of this fandom has genuinely changed my life. I've made so many friends around the world, I've rediscovered my love for writing, I've created so many things and had so much fun being an unhinged fangirl with all of you. It's also wild to look back on the last 9 years, where I started at 27 and where I am now at 36, and how much I have developed as a person and as an artist thanks to the work I did for this fandom and the people I made that work for.

Even though the story of SNK was pretty disappointing in the end (and MAPPA is on my eternal shitlist for excluding basically every RM crumb), it was the journey and the people we spent it with that made it great. I could not have done what I did without your support and the support of everyone else in the ship, all the kudos, comments, likes, reblogs, and messages. I couldn't have chosen a better group of people to go insane over the Ackermans with.

I will say, having watched the last episode and having had a few hours to think about it, I do think it was a vast improvement over the manga and I see more of what Yams was trying to get at. I still disagree with a lot of the choices made and I think he told the story ineffectively because we needed to see the female characters interacting rather than Eren and Armin talking about it, and we needed to see more development of the character's emotions towards each other, especially with regard to the romantic aspects of the story. A lot of us got into SNK because there were non-sexualized female characters that were given weight and interesting storylines, and ultimately this was the downfall of the series because the narrative didn't give almost all of these women the attention they deserved, Mikasa in particular.

I hope people stick around even though the series is over, or maybe we'll find a new ship together. I highly recommend joining the Rivamika Discord if you haven't already for chaotic, delulu fun and a great group of people. RM has always been a space where we encouraged each other and held together because it's such a small ship, and I'm so happy that we managed to cultivate a ship with so many nice, kind people, with only a small handful of bad apples who largely stay out of the way of the people who are just here to have fun. I'm glad that I could contribute to that, and I hope that I was able to provide some excitement or relief or comfort to people who needed it, or who just wanted to read some Ackersmut. I hope all of you had as much fun as I did.

There is so much going on in this panel: - Mikasa looks like she just woke up from an accidental nap - Levi looks like his internal monologue is "the idiot had one job—sit down and shut up—and still he's yelling" - Hanji is ready to call it a day - Eren looks like he just realized he left the stove on and forgot to wear pants under his coat

Obviously we're gonna have to wait another year and I'm very late to the party BUT HEAR ME OUT : all hopes are not lost, and even if we won't have anything to chew on (not even the tiniest of crumbs and we better hold on to it cause that's all we get but anyways) we are strong soldiers, the strongest some may say for we stan humanity's strongest duo and if the world doesn't comply with our every very realistic desires, we're gonna make it happen ourselves!

Hey everyone. It's been a while. I am finally okay and everything seems a lot more peaceful. I had read all the notes on my last post and find it very overwhelming with love and support from the RivaMika community which holds a very special place in my heart. 💕

I currently have work but at the same time I had anxiety and asthma attacks for these past few days and decided to seek back to my refuge (which is Tumblr and Twitter) and find myself reminiscing the days where I can't think of anything besides my ships.

I'am currently diving back to the IchiHime, IshiHime and other Orihime Inoue ships. I have a few head canons about them and I might post a few drabbles. And also, the freaking Kacchako ship. Especially when I found there was a huge fvcking crumb (the cooking video for those who may or may not know) which show these:

They robbed us of the highly anticipated Rivamika moments 🧅🧅🧅😢.

😂 Not to mention, they tacked on an extra chapters at the end that was not originally part of the planned final ending of manga🥱 No wonder the AOT hype has died down. Tumblr used to be so active with AOT content, but that's not the case anymore. They also denied fans the long-awaited EM kiss scene, though lol (happy for this though 😂) I thought interest would remain high for the final part overall, yet it seems to be the opposite—people have moved on to JJK.

Anyway, I'm glad it's finally ended. I'm hoping for some 🤞 Rivamika crumbs in the Bad Boy manga, hopefully it explores more than just Levi's childhood. We could really use a post-war manga and anime in Bad Boy manga.

P. S: I'm glad it's Sunday tomorrow—I'm just gonna read some Kakashi x Sakura fanfics and short Rivamika stories to get my fix!

I know I’m being petty as hell about this but a kpop account mentioned they look like “Eren and Mikasa” and it’s driving me absolute bonkers that 65k+ people (?!?!) liked that twt and are squealing about BTS V as Eren when it’s a literal carbon copy of Levi 😭😭

Ppl saying it’s Eren are trippin

This was such a special niche mixed fandom (AoT x BTS 💜) thing I immediately claimed, esp for us rivamika shippers who get crumbs (LMAO) so it bothered me extra
