I love the teasers in IMSCARED

Recently there was a small little update said to be mostly to add a couple more languages and localizations as the game is getting ready to go to console and mobile... but the update also brought a couple things into the mix regarding the restorer.

Because I hope if you are interested, know that these secrets are way too secret.

I want people to know that the game Imscared got an updated engine, and with that, a bit more content. Personally I truly adore the game as an experience more than as a videogame, for its flaws are many but the feeling is wonderful.

I do recommend people play it, but if they do, be not afraid to use a guide. The game is fun but it wouldn't be if you just dont know the next step.

And I do hope that if you get to see the end, you meet your new friend The Restorer.

Wether the new content is worth it to you I cannot say. I can say it promises things for the future and hasnt reached its full potential.

Just had a wack-ass dream. It's under the cut. Only read the thing if you're willing to sit here for a few minutes and listen to me ramble about my wack-ass nightmares of IMSCARED.

Right, so I had a dream where the computers got interchanged (cuz the wi-fi on the other one wicked and the only way mom and her boyfriend and that she currently lives with think that's the only solution because the computer's incompatible with the box) and everything worked fine, but my tablet in the dream, which was nothing like mine here, was yelling at me to pay for something. (Probably the tablet.) Then I noticed... something white and pixelated hiding in a crack in the floor.

I checked it out only for it to fly away and end up out the window. It was White Face, but there was some... eldritch, tentacle thing with purple eyes sticking out the right side of his head.

Eventually, he got to the computer and changed the screen to a bunch of eyes. The fight began soon after (with some minecraft-ass textures on the floor for some reason.) My mom was making sure everything was working right beforehand, so I didn't have the controls until he had caught me.

I didn't get to see what happened next because I got woke up by a call from mom.

Keep in mind, this was not my first IMSCARED-related dream.

Right before the big 2022 update where little miss attraction Lady got involved, I had a dream of playing tag with White Face, but he was huge (a la Pipes C) and the map was completely different. I climbed a ladder and ended up coming across a gorgeous view of a lovely garden lit by streetlights.

Then I remembered I was being chased and went back downstairs. I think he caught me.

But the dream in between these two was... freaky.

I was playing IMSCARED one day and then stuff starts popping up. Like little windows with freaky stuff in them. The screen would occasionally flash to some real woman that looked like the Restorer. As I ran through the game trying to get back to the first room (like that would fix anything in the LONELINESS MAP) some textures changed to Restorer with Red eyes.

Like in this old picture.

You're probably wondering "what's the painting at the bottom of your little sona?"

I'm getting to that.

As I kept going, I eventually got teleported to the pipes area... or at least it looked like it. What's on the other end of the room, however? A painting of my sona in my style on the wall.

The game eventually said "Let's see the new you, shall we?" And after that the room got darker like someone turned off the lights and the painting became something that looked like a fucking alternate.

And then everything went back to normal. Just me playing Modded Minecraft.

That's how I've come to realize that maybe helping Restorer is my destiny. Thanks for listening to me ramble.
