Everyone has been rightfully gushing about the Yoji Shinkawa art for Satoru Umezawa, but don't let it overshadow Raita Kazama's awesome illustration as well.
Metal Gear Solid may be more iconic, but Kazama is still a prolific illustrator and designer, working on Xenoblade Chronicles and FGO.

Dreamwatch 10.24.21 (Match 5)
Raita Matsuoka, Jiro Kazama, & Ryuji Katagiri vs Mitsuru Takahashi, Katsu Himuro, & EIJI
What a match up this was bound to be. Katagiri has been hot and cold to say the least but when he's on he's on and we know how capable he is when it comes to dealing out punishment with his hard strikes. his partners in Thunderwind are unproven in a Dreamwatch ring, they've fought in numerous other areas and are simply two big beefy dudes that hit hard which is a tried and true tag team formula. On the other hand we have Overkill, literally the most terrifying trio of wrestlers I've ever seen in a ring. Everyone remembers Overkill in the early days of Dreamwatch knocking opponents out cold, making every single opponent bleed, dominating matches. Overkill is a forced to be reckoned with as a trio but their opponents look more than ready to face them head on!
This match was an eye-opening one for me. To me, it seems clear that Katagiri and Thunderwind were more in sync as a trio, dealing a lot of damage together and tagging in and out efficiently. Thunderwind was especially good in this match, nailing a plethora of tag team moves, and even decimating Katsu Himuro on the outside with a couple of them. This was certainly not an Overkill dominating performace, but Overkill put in the work as well. The old EIJI has been missing since he won the Dreamfall championship, but there were glimpses of him coming back here. Without the worry of having to defend the championship, EIJI was able to simply inflict pain and not let his mind be occupied by anything other than sadism. Himuro took a lot of punishment in this match but was able to get back up adn dish out a lot of it as well. Overkill weren't doing much in terms of teamwork in this match, but a team like them is always going to be a threatening presence in the ring no matter what.
This time around, though, Overkill were outmatched. Specifically, Mitsuru Takahashi was outmatched. Takahashi's cheating and biting aren't as effective against multiple opponents, so he wasn't much use in this match, and the opponents took advantage of this very well. At the end of the match, I'd say that Overkill were outdamaged, outskilled, and beaten by a superior team of athletes tonight. Overkill is different. Overkill is not what it used to be.

Ryuji Katagiri: We beat them. With Asahina and Uzaki's wins earlier, that's a clean sweep of victories for us tonight. I feel like I was able to refocus tonight and get back into things.
Jiro Kazama: Its easier with your brothers with you. Its about time we got booked on another one of these.
Raita Matsuoka: And we showed up in a big way. Overkill... I hear they have a reputation, but I didn't see much of anything to write home about tonight. We made a statement tonight. I've heard the talk and I'm sick of it, so if any of you want to come down and fight any of us, I don't give a damn who you are, we'll take your challenge and crush you.
Jiro Kazama: THUNDERWIND! Remember the name!
Ryuji Katagiri: I don't have more to say. This isn't the time for talking, for me. I can only say anything meaningful in that ring.

EIJI: What's happening to Overkill.
Katsu Himuro: Hm?
EIJI: You feel it Himuro. We're not what we were. We haven't seen a bloodbath in a while. Our weaknesses...
EIJI glances at Takahashi
EIJI: Our weaknesses are starting to show.
Takahashi: What are you-
Katsu Himuro: We've changed for the better, EIJI. No more mindlessly beating up people for us. You've gone from being given nameless victims to being given championships. You are the best champion in Dreamwatch, EIJI. Katagiri was given a title shot on his first night, and look what he did with that opportunity. He gave the belt away to a nobody. It doesn't feel like it, but you're bigger than the Jr division, even while you hold that belt. You're the face of Dreamwatch.
EIJI: ...So this is how it feels. I'm disappointed. I'm remaking this place in my own image.
Katsu Himuro: One thing still hasn't changed. Overkill. Is. Dreamwatch. We'll make them remember that.

Hello! I've been lurking on your blog for awhile, and have always been really impressed with how much care you put into all of your requests and stories! I've finally gathered my courage to send you a (platonic) match-up request myself (if you'd like to undertake it, if not that's perfectly fine too uwu) Any sword you'd match me with is ok. I got into tkrb from a good friend so I only know a few of their favorites by name. I'd like to find a sword to research myself and learn about! Name: Asylum
Pronouns: they/them
Physical existence: just under 6ft, has glasses and is hard of hearing.
Personality: I'm quick to think well about most people I meet, and am very easy to get in the good graces of. I find it very easy to say things like 'I trust you' 'I care about you' and 'I'm proud of you' (I startle some of my friends since I say these things so freely, but it's true!) . I try to show my best face around everyone, being kind considerate and empathetic to everyone I meet, engaging genuinely and giving honest counsel if someone I care about is upset. I give gifts almost as freely as I give words, and pride myself on the ability to give thoughtful gifts as much as I do advise. It... tends to all fall apart when I'm the one who's upset. I've been forced to be the therapist friend, with no warning or option to not consent to it, so when I'm at my worst I feel like I can't tell anyone that I'm upset or else I'll hurt them. I've dealt a lot with feeling worthlessness and being unworthy of the 'privalages' I've been afforded... But I'm learning! I'm learning how to set healthy boundaries and how to ask for help from people I care about and trust. How to not give all of myself away, how to take care of myself, too. I've been described by a friend as a rose because, though I am very soft and kind, I do have thorns and can stick up for what I believe in.
Hobbies and interests: I really like arts of all kinds, though my favorite things to do are in miniature, like miniature doll houses, modal kits, small paintings, or customizing toys. Video games are always fun with friends, and reading cozily in the same space as someone is a dream. I have a more academic interest in art and psychology. I am fascinated with how people work, and how visual stimulus can be manipulated to make people feel things. talking about symbolism and art history is very fun for me (regardless of how much who I'm talking to knows)
What I'd look for in a friend: Someone to keep good company with! whether it's high academic talk, cozily relaxing together, or causing mischief I'm always up for good company doing it.

♡ Fukushima Mitsutada is the older brother of Shokudaikiri Mitsutada. He very laid back like his little brother but a bit more quirky than him as well!
♡ Fukushima loves to dote on his little brother and will cause havoc to try to get Shokudaikiri to call him Onii-chan (Big Brother).
♡ Fukushima is very friendly and would warm up to you right away if you flash him a smile. He will also try to convince you to go with his crazy tactics to bug Shokudaikiri from time to time. From saving his little brother in a game of water tag like a great big brother or trying to help Shokudaikiri in the kitchen to show him how cool his big brother is- Oh god there is a fire.

♡ Fukushima is also very artistically inclined! However slightly different from how you would do art. Fukushima is a florist and will make arrangements often, color theory and art history are both topics that Fukushima has grown to love since becoming human.
♡ Another quirky habit that Fukushima seemed to develop when he turned human is.. well... Flowers. A florist who will take any chance to grab a flower for the art piece- Even in the middle of battle.
♡ You may send him out to get resources for the citadel and he comes back with an armful of flowers he desperately wishes to make into an arrangement.
♡ He loves the symbolism of flowers and make you a bouquet that is all the flowers that remind him of you. A gesture to symbolize the new found friendship between the two.
♡ He would love to spend comfy time with you as well! I can see him as someone who get very invested in games after you introduce him to it. Probably not the best at them but will try his best and enjoy his time.
♡ Introduce him to Stardew Valley, and it's over. He is about to make co-op Stardew a must every night for the two of you. He is going to make the farm the prettiest thing you have ever seen.
♡ Probably would romance Elliot or Leah.
♡ Fukushima is more sensitive to other emotions, but never should exactly what may be wrong. He gets random feelings that a certain friend is sad and will try to do something in his own way.
♡ From gifting flowers with a little note telling you what they mean, a flower that symbolizes strength due to it's nature to withstand the hardships it faces, or spending quiet time with his friend... Just being there if they need him.
♡ He is a loyal, yet goofy, friend to have around. Cares about you but also will tease you lightly to make you laugh.
♡ Fukushima understands how past hardships can still affect people today and sometimes the words will never come out to truly express what someone is feeling deep inside. He tries to live in the moment and not let his own past hardships affect him, but he understands that is something that means to be human.
♡ But you never have to face it alone. So even if you don't want to tell him what is hurting you, he is there. Going at your pace to ensure you that he won't leave your side.
