Out Of This World por `*⊹ ᑭɧყƖƖıʂ •٭ Por Flickr: Alien Throne, located in Valley of Dreams, is a hoodoo formed by erosive forces like wind, rain, and flowing water beating away at stacked layers of soft and hard rock. The softer layers wear down relatively quickly, while the harder layers resist for longer, and it ends up with such a unique appearance. Getting to the Valley of Dreams, and thus Alien Throne, is not easy. It’s in a remote wilderness area with no roads, no signs, and no official trails. Google Map failed to take us to the trailhead, as we gave up hope and turned around, we were then lucky to bump into a photographer whom we had met the evening before. He so happened was heading out that way for sunset & sunrise photoshoots. We followed him through some serious bumpy and sandy off-road trails, where a 4x4 and high clearance vehicle was a must.
