Tripping Mechanism: MCB has thermal or electromagnetism for the detection of abnormal currents and trip accordingly.
Resettable: Rather than depending on the concept of manual reset, unlike fuses, MCB can be easily reset manually after tripping, therefore leaving the protection on.
Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCB)
RCCBs, also called residual current devices, are meant to offer electrical safety. Although MCB works to watch out for overcurrent and short circuits, the RCCB performs a specific function, identifying leakage currents, especially the ones caused by electric shocks.
Importance and Uses
Leakage Current Detection: RCCB  always ensures a steady supply because they continually monitor the imbalance of currents flowing in and going out. Leakage of the current is detected immediately. They react within a second on the detection of a fault, disconnecting the circuit from the inside to the outside.
Protection Against Electric Shock: RCCB cut off power at the speed of seconds after getting to know electric current leakage. They minimise the risk of electrocution and protect people from being exposed to an accident.
Sensitive Operation: RCCB operates with high sensitivity. They ensure that even the smallest leakages are detected, even as low as a few milliamperes.
Electric Panel Boards
Electrical panel boards (also known as circuit breaker panels, distribution boards, or load centres) are the power distribution sources for all the electrical components in a building. They serve as a central hub for distributing electricity throughout a building or facility. It houses protective devices such as MCBs and RCCBs and facilitates organised and safe electrical distribution by distributing power from the main supply to various circuits within the building. 
Importance and Uses
Circuit Distribution: The electric panels boards are usually installed near the main electricity distribution systems, and they are designed to distribute electrical power coming from the main panel to different circuits within a building so as to ensure both balanced and efficient power distribution.
Protection Devices Integration: Most MCB/RCCB are generally found within electric panel boards, which act as a common source of protection from overcurrents, short circuits, and electric shocks.
Organization and Accessibility: The electrical Panel board facilitates the organisation of electrical current, which makes it easier to find and take care of the individual circuits.
