Lewis and I had been together for 4 years and I have nothing to complain about.

He is the most perfect man I’ve ever met in my entire life.

The kisses all over my face every morning when we were together, the hugs from behind that make me feel at home, the single flower that he gave me every day that I press in a book and am putting in a frame, the times that at a family lunch when he is talking to my parents he passes by me and gives me a kiss on the forehead just to show that even if we are apart at that moment he is still paying attention and taking care of me.

And that's why every month we had a special date, we picked a day when we were both together and we went out to enjoy each other's company.

This was the last weekend of the race, we were in Dubai and it would be our last date of the year. I had chosen a green dress that looked like Tinker bell's, I had found it some time ago and decided to leave it for our last meeting of the year.

The podium today was Lewis, Charles and Max and with this last victory Lewis became 8 times Formula 1 world champion so it was another reason to celebrate.

Lewis had showered first so that I could have the bathroom to myself and put on makeup without him seeing me before I was completely ready.

As soon as I finished I looked at myself in the mirror once more and came out of the bathroom seeing my boyfriend sitting in an armchair in the corner of the room playing on his cell phone but he looked away from the screen as soon as he heard the bathroom door open and then smiled and stood up.

"Wow you look gorgeous."

"Thanks, you look perfect too." He smiles and holds my waist with his hands.

"Can we go? We have a lot to celebrate."

"We can."

We went to the restaurant he had chosen and made a reservation.

"Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton, it's this way." They led us to an outside area with a table just for the two of us which I thought was odd since we usually sat with the other people just in a more private corner to avoid people getting in the way.

"Are we sit alone today?" he pulled out a chair for me.

"Yes, why you didn't like it?"

"It's not that, I loved it, I just asked because you usually like to act normal and sit with everyone." He laughs.

"And I do but today I wanted to do something different since it's an important celebration."

"Absolutely, it's not every day that you become 8th time formula one world champion and breaking a record." I smiled at him who held my hand.

"Absolutely."

"Are you okay? You seem a little nervous."

"I'm fine yes just still can't believe all this happened today."

We ordered our food and had one of the best dinners ever, the night was beautiful with the star’s in the sky making everything even more perfect.

"Hey." He calls out to me and I looked up at him. "You are without a doubt the love of my life, I have never loved anyone the way I love you and I can't even imagine my life without you in it. Not many people can adapt with a hectic life like us driver’s and I thank you so much that besides you’re supporting me you are always there for me when I need you."

"Love you know I would do anything for you."

"With that said I want to ask you a question." I nodded and he reached up and took something from his pocket and knelt down in front of me. "Would you make me the happiest man in the world by marrying me?"

At this I started to cry and nodded my head in agreement.

"There is nothing I want more in the world than to be your wife." He smiled placing the ring on my finger and we both stood up and I slung my arms around his shoulders and kissed him. "Thank you for choosing me to be your wife."

"Thank you for choosing me to be your husband."

iwtv ep 5 rewatch thoughts

opening with the scene within which i have built a home and become a permanent resident. right here in the moment rashmand smiles stupidly and louis slonks (🤭) every last drop of his blood. how anyone thinks they’re boring idk idk idk

they are being clear here that this isn’t consumption for the sake of sustenance. this is bloodletting as sex play and as power play. Danny is not having dinner. so its clear that this isn’t feeding as a meal but it is feeding as sexual exhibition at its most delicious. Danny is reading about claudia’s violent acts via the written recording of her victim’s last words while loumand basically vampire fuck at the other end of the table. this is also setting up the sexual violence to come for claudia and also for louis.

i think it is intentional that louis is the one feeding from armand for several reasons. one being because of what lestat does to him, which we see later on. this is power play for louis in a setting where he has voluntarily and possibly in some aspects dubiously relinquished control over to his lover armand. also bc of the connection between daniel and armand. they are revealing rashid as armand slowly here and his and louis’ involvement with daniel in the past. Daniel isn’t dumb. they know he can figure out the inconsistencies of louis drinking from armand and louis drinking from damek. this leads to daniels curiosity about how armand tastes like and his weight and louis puts daniel’s hidden attraction out on display against his wishes to throw him off. and daniel orders rashid around to take back some power.

i also think it’s a call back to the power dynamic of their first meeting. louis has power over daniel, and it seems he’s the one in control of the entire situation but then he checks in with armand before moving forward. in this moment in the present dubai 2020 setting louis has power over daniel (regardless of him no longer being that naive young man) and he plays the role of the one with the power over rashid, but the power he is receiving is from armands 500+ year old blood that he is offering to louis as the character he is playing. lord take me.

i think it’s interesting that daniel is feasting on claudia’s private memories but objects to louis reading and exposing his personal thoughts. even tho louis has shown time and again that he does that and would do it again. choices/consent is the big issue in this episode.

Daniel: man with green vest: please no. man with fat fingers: please stop. window washer: i can’t die like this. woman with purple shoes: please. boy with inner tube and dog: let my dog live. please no. please stop. stop. oh here’s a good one—man in the last row of The Son of Sheik picture show: You said you had cigarettes.

this is the first recounts we hear him read from claudia’s journal—claudia, who did not get a say in whether her voice and story be used by louis, armand and daniel in this way. He reads this and it’s clear that he [daniel] hadn’t actually consented to being the voyeur of loumand’s sex play given his visible discomfort/agitation. He continues anyways, trying his best to focus on the task at hand and not his bisexual longing for the men at the other end of the table bc even with everything he is reading and witnessing he is still attracted to them in all their insanity and monstrosity.

im interested in the fact that he pointedly reads out (“here’s a good one”) the misleading nature of the last one. “You said you had cigarettes.” i think it speaks to the fact that daniel came here to dubai for a supposed second interview and is slowly but surely realizing he is getting something else entirely. he continues “School teacher, guard your heart. i’m trying to think of something more fucked up than this.” he could be just talking about what claudia has written, but i think it’s also the fact that this is the section of his reading that loumand have chosen to be overtly sexual in front of him for as he reads. all this and he doesn’t even know yet of rashid being armand and his role in claudia’s death, though i’m sure he’s having suspicions of everything by now. also that louis, with being faced with the piece of claudia he doesn’t like to acknowledge, the monstrosity of her vampire nature, focuses of drinking from armand the man who killed his beloved daughter (something he said about “i run to the bottle” etc. etc). it does in fact get more fucked up danny.

and when armand implies that daniel is no better by revealing the danger it poses on louis and exposing louis’ suicidality without his permission (“he lives to share these opinions even when they are not solicited”) and revealing he doesn’t even want this book to happen, louis fights back by leaning into his power over daniel and exposing his thoughts about armand, and continues to, even when danny makes it clear his thoughts were not being voluntarily shared—that he did not want louis in his mind at all. he even interrupts rashmand in the middle of telling daniel he wouldn’t let him near his neck to offer up more information abt rashid (much to armands annoyance) that clearly isn’t even true after reading daniel’s mind again when daniel just explicitly told him not to. and when louis does that daniel fights back by leaning into his perceived power over rashid—louis’ servant—by demanding more of something to drink without even looking at him. and at this armand picks up his lil ipad and leaves without even picking up daniel’s glass, being the one who is actually the most powerful in the room. this is crazy. this is actually insane.

all this and armand is the one who killed claudia!!!! the only one who doesn’t get to fight back against her agency being taken from her in this scene!!! i’m going to fucking throw up. who is bored with them!? they are literally putting on thee insane sexy bdsm emo freaks show like…

“ The Son of Sheik” also alludes to the upcoming sexual assault btw. It’s a sequel to “The Sheik” where the protagonist is the son of the sheik in the first film who falls in love with a traveling dancer Yasmine. He rapes her out of retaliation for having been kidnapped and later whipped, which he believes to be her fault bc she is falsely accused of it. like in this episode and like claudia, yasmine’s rape is strongly implied in the movie with the use of pointed language and a scene cut.

this scene closes out with daniel pointing out he can’t get to accurate statistics of claudia’s murders to corroborate her accounts whether he thinks its more or less than what she recounts im unsure. louis points out that he wouldn’t be able to get an accurate account anyways bc of their disposal practices and how cities tend to downplay the dangers within them. daniel wanting all the details and louis making it clear he will have to accept that he can’t always have all the details will be a point of contention later on as we know.

Arabian nights, an All inclusive sequel

In the bustling city of London, there lived a young Arab man named Khalid. At the age of 22, Khalid was the son of the third wife of the Sheikh of Dubai, living a life of privilege and luxury. With no responsibilities to burden him, he spent his days indulging in extravagant dinners, attending lavish parties, and focusing on an intense gym routine to maintain his physique.

Whenever Khalid went on holiday, he went to the resorts of his dear friend Alexander. Here he was accompanied by his trusted companion, Matthew, who served as his private butler. Khalid admired Matthew and had witnessed his transformation from a young, skinny twink to a handsome, muscular man. This drastic change was all thanks to personal trainer Jacobs efforts and rigorous training sessions.

However, Khalid's life took an unexpected turn when he received a summons back to the palace in Dubai. His powerful uncle had passed away, leaving behind a vast empire of real estate holdings and infrastructure projects. As the designated successor, Khalid was responsible for managing his late uncle's affairs.

Khalid, concealed beneath his flowing Arab robes, remained blissfully unaware of his transformation. Concept: maybe iCarly doesn't get renewed, but they film a few extra scenes in character now and maybe take some in-character photos through the years.

and the footage and photos from the gap fill in the missing years so we still get to see wedding footage and first baby, second baby family photos...

Then we wait another 12 years and the series comes back, not as iCarly but as a series focused around Creddie's 2 kids with Millicent acting as a sort of Spencer to them... helping raise them while being a young adult.

The focus of the show is on the kids, making it age-appropriate for young teens to watch. So to keep Freddie and Carly around without having them steal the show by being around TOO much, the running gag is that they are always off on some crazy-romantic adventure. A cruise to Alaska, a spa in Japan (no skydiving), a safari in Africa, a ski trip in the alps (no skiing), dinner in Italy, a getaway to the Eiffel Tower, lost in Peru for 2 weeks, hot air ballooning in Dubai, motorbiking through Germany, checking out the Pyramids in Egypt, exploring Fjords in Norway, visiting Hobbiton, etc. Complete with postcards/mini vlog messages. And when they are around, it's clear they are also very present in their kids' lives (and sometimes the kids get to go on a two-parter special episode trip with them), but it just seems like they're always up to their own private shenanigans too, having fun and loving life (Freddie finally built some tech startup that took off and sold it for millions).

Also, we never find out what happened with Carly's and Spencer's mom except for one or two lines with zero context. Because it's funnier that way.

Even if he's telling you he's a racecar driver, which is obviously bullshit. So you took him home, and he proved to you within ten minutes that it was completely the right decision.

And then he invited you to a race and you rolled your eyes and told him you didn't mind what job he did. And then he told you it wasn't a lie so you said okay fine, expecting to be taken to an underground drag race or something. And then you were sat in the back of a very, very nice car and you were being driven out of the city and you were being led through masses of stands. And then you realised you were watching Formula One cars, and the Australian named Danny was in fact a driver, and a bloody good one too.

You'd barely blinked and it had been six months. The best of your life, with Daniel desperate to spoil you and show you the glamour he had been blessed with. You loved it, of course, you did. Fancy dinners, destinations beyond your wildest dreams, private jets. But you'd run out of paid time off and you had to miss the rest of his races for the season, right as it was ramping up to the summer.

Daniel had offered so many times to take care of you. He promised you that if you quit your job you'd never have to want for anything again. He'd pay for everything, he could afford to, he wanted to. But you couldn't, it was too early and too fragile in the relationship to give up everything for him. What was different about Danny was that he understood you, and he respected your decisions. He supported you in wanting to work your way up yourself, that you didn't want to give over all of your independence. He liked that you liked him for so much more than his money.

Your phone buzzing in your hand brought you back from your recent daydream about the last race weekend you'd been to, and the impromptu weekend in Dubai he'd whisked you off to afterwards because he felt like it. However this week, it was Daniel's turn to exist in your life. He was visiting you for a few days in his week off, but you hadn't been able to get the time off work, so he was left to entertain himself in your house for the day.

He knew you were in a meeting, but he wouldn't stop texting you. And because you were completely and utterly addicted to him, there was no way you were ignoring a text from him.

You smiled down at your phone. You were just typing out an equally sappy reply when another message popped up.

It flashed open before you could stop it. At first you didn't register the brown blur across your screen, as you flinched from the sudden colour amongst the simple messages you'd been sending back and forth. Your mouth went dry when you realised what it was.

It was Daniel, alright. Standing in your bathroom, with a white towel wrapped far too low around his hips. His phone held up, that signature grin on his face when he knew he was causing trouble, which was a lot of the time with Danny. He was wet, skin shining in the mirror. Every muscle was outlined down his strong shoulders, defined six-pack and your personal favourite, the obnoxiously perfect V-line. Your stomach clenched and you nearly choked on the water you'd just taken a sip of.

You had to click the phone screen off as you began to splutter, one of your colleagues thumping you on the back and asking if you were okay. You managed to choke out a yes, and convince them that they could go back to their segment for the marketing department. If your face hadn't been bright red before, it most certainly was now.

Your next mistake was looking back down at your phone.

You were your own worst enemy sometimes, but there was nothing that was going to stop you from seeing what he'd sent now. This time you were smart enough to not drink whilst you discreetly opened it, and you were glad you didn't because the sight alone would have been enough to put you in a hospital.

You'd been expecting another selfie, maybe one of his stupid smoulders he liked to play with, or a filter to ruin the mood. But no.

The towel was gone, and Daniel was on your phone in his full naked glory. Tattoos out, messy hair, the whole shebang. The hand not taking the photo was wrapped around his erection, his head tilted back to show you his neck that you so loved to bite.

You were glad that you didn't have to add much to the rest of the meeting, and you must have looked out of it because by the time you got to lunch a simple "I think I ate something bad last night," was enough to get you sent home.

Your hands were trembling as you unlocked your door, with no idea what to expect behind it. Danny hadn't sent anything else, and you'd been too stunned to reply to his last image. The house was silent, which wasn't too surprising, you'd expected him to be hanging out in your room.

You were right, although you couldn't deny that you were a little disappointed when you saw he'd changed into grey sweatpants and a bright yellow hoodie. He was crashed out, laid starfish on your bed. You decided to give him a taste of his own medicine.

"Daniel!" he bolted upright, eyes widened in confusion and fear "You sent me pictures of you NAKED whilst I was in a WORK MEETING!" His brain seemed to catch up because a wicked grin slowly made its way across his face, not an ounce of remorse to be seen.

"Sorry," the fucker even had the audacity to blow you an air kiss.

"You don't need to worry about me quitting my job, if you keep pulling stunts like that I'm going to lose it," you scolded him, but your tone was already lightening. His hair was messy on the top of his head and the photo was still burnt into the back of your mind. You'd stared at it for twenty minutes in the ladies' toilets straight after the meeting.

"You loved it though," he reached up to pull the hoodie off as if to prove his point, giving you an in-person viewing of what he'd shown you hours before. You rolled your eyes, hands on your hips as if you could keep up the hard-to-get act for much longer.

"It was highly unprofessional,"

"It was highly arousing,"

"Oh shut up,"

"Make me,"

That was enough to have you ripping your blouse off, bag dropped at your side as you crawled onto his lap, straddling his already growing bulge with ease.
