Lynn has severe acrophobia and aviophobia. She’s like me, for real :’) Thankfully Lúcio, her Cinderace and emotional support Pokémon, is with her. He does his best, bless his pure buuny heart. 🙏🏻

This was actually sketched and partially outlined back in…2022? I guess I just lost motivation to keep working on it until recently ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Also I’ve become a little self conscious drawing myself. 💀

Anyway, this isn’t Lúcio’s final design. I’ve since decided to try and make my Pokémon look a bit more unique, whether it be tiny design changes from their usual look and/or giving them accessories.

Since Lúcio’s Sword counterpart has them, I was thinking of giving him a pair of Safety Goggles. That is if I can figure out how to work them around his big, cute ears and floofy cheek tufts. 🤔

Hickory the shiny Arboliva is the latest addition to my Pokésona’s team. He is an older specimen, hence why his crown, arms and collar has more leaves.

He is reserved yet gentle, usually seen by himself or near Lynn. He is quite smitten with her Leavanny, Wildvine, though.

Hickory began offering the Nurturing Pokémon some of his special, nutritious oil while he’s either hard at work repairing Lynn’s clothes or looking after her smaller and younger Pokémon. Hickory assists as he’s also a great caretaker, sharing his oil with them, as well.

To repay the Olive Pokémon’s generosity, Wildvine made Hickory a cloak befitting his regal visage, complete with an ivory clasp he crafted from a naturally shed baby tusk of a Donphan.

To say Hickory was flattered would be an understatement.

First art done on my new laptop. I gave up on the background, but love how the leaf dads came out. Tried something different with the lineart, which thankfully worked well for this.

He's named after Casey Mongillo, who is also the voice of Raboot & Cinderace and a real joy to vibe with! 🥰

Lynn and Lúcio-as a Raboot-enjoying some quality time together, unaware of their company.

Since evolving from an energetic Scorbunny, Lúcio became shy, only seeking comfort in Lynn, whom he imprinted on since he hatched from an egg.

He often eats his meals alone with her.

Lúcio's egg was gifted to Lynn by her father as a birthday surprise. After caring for and traveling with it, the egg soon hatched into a Scorbunny, a Pokémon Lynn had never seen before!

She was informed that Scorbunny was native to Galar, a region quite a ways away from Hoenn.

Lúcio took an instant liking to Lynn and could often be seen clinging onto/sitting upon her shoulders or being carried in her arms. Blaze became jealous as that was something he also did a lot when he was a Torchic.

Not to mention HE was Lynn’s first Pokémon and partner.

Needless to say, Blaze didn't like it when Lynn decided that Lúcio would be her second Partner Pokémon. Jensen and Wildvine tried to convince him that Lynn loved them all equally-which was absolutely true-but Blaze refused to listen and walked away in a huff.

Lúcio later tried to befriend him, but Blaze gave him the cold shoulder, so to speak. Lynn noticed this behavior and talked to them both.

Only then did Blaze apologize and agreed to try and be friendlier to Lúcio.

Unfortunately, it wasn't long before his jealousy took over, again, especially when Lynn showed Lucio any affection.

Lynn was advised that it was just a phase Blaze was going through and that he and Lúcio would become good friends with some time.

Lynn could only hope so.
