Empecemos con los pioneros así voy desarrollando hasta llegar a los heroes y a lo contemporáneo. Georges Méliès, la primera vez que este fotografo que venia de la escena teatral de Francia vio algo fotográficamente que le llamara la atención fue una presentación de el Cinematographe de los Hermanos Lumiere en 1895, de ahi este mago del lente y la camara empezó su maravillosa aventura en la cinematografía, a Méliès le adjudicamos la investigación de casi todos los efectos de cine en tiempos del celuloide, hizo mas de 900 joyas cinefotográficas, fue el primero en explorar las técnicas de timelapses, sustitución de cuadros, multiples exposiciones, disolvencias y hasta pintar sobre el negativo a mano para efectos interesantes. Georges Méliès murio en Francia de Cancer el 21 de Enero de 1938 a la edad de 76 años.
