- Maybe there's a way to make a profit in this. Bet on Logan.
- I would, but who'd bet on you?

big fan of actors who always bring just a touch of the fruity to every role, who have a vibe about them, you know? a certain je ne sais gay if you will. doesn't matter if you wrote the character as straight, you cast a tom hardy or a natasha lyonne and you're gonna get a character with a uh. quality. the dead dove do not eat of homoerotic subtext. like i don't know what to tell you man, you put robert redford and paul newman on screen together what did you think was gonna happen. you know??

[George Roy Hill]'s theory was that Etta was probably one of Fannie Porter's prostitutes and just how close a friend she was to Butch as well as Sundance is left to speculation. But he always felt there was something there probably of a three-way relationship that couldn't be shown in the time that we made this picture. And probably had nothing to do with the picture we were doing anyway. (Robert J. Crawford, Documentary Director)
