The spotty tall cat is Birch, the short curly one is Wister, the red one is Olivestar from my first clan Gen, the top one is Heather Wildwind, and then Corvid Nightbird in his fancy attire. The first thing of birch is her newest design but the old one is my only full body ref, she’s probably my main oc with Heather and Corvid second lol

NEWLEAF, MOON #1, YEAR 1
Fernfreckle chased a rogue off the territory.
Fleckshade got in a tussle with a fox that ended with her tail getting mangled.
Wisteriabark joined Jumblebrush to go herb searching. By the time the pair return to camp (empty-pawed), Jumblebrush is ready to explode at the warrior. Wisteriabark is so annoying!
Coyotepaw is named Coyotetwist, honored for her sense of justice during the ceremony. She seems distant, as her thoughts are less on protecting Pineclan, and more on ensuring that anyone who harms her clan mates will be paid in kind.

Cautionary Tale: ??
Story:
Meadowpaw was ecstatic when she learned that she would become the older sister to Rookleap and Sagescratch’s new litter, and was more than ready to show Thornkit, Wildkit, and Spotkit around the camp and teach them the ins and outs of Clan life.
The the leaf-bare took an unexpected turn for the worst. Rookleap froze to death. Her kits would have joined her if she hadn’t shielded them from the harsh wind with her body.
Devastated, Sagescratch and Meadowpaw did their best to take care of the kits, but with no other queen and the kits far too young to be weaned, they starved.
With the elders so weak from the season’s aggression and her father still broken, Meadowpaw took it upon herself to bury the trio. But as she dug, her paws slipped, and in the moment of catching herself, her teeth sank forward.
They broke the skin of Spotkit, and her blood flowed into her mouth. Meadowpaw froze. Everything screamed at her to spit the kit out, but her stomach rumbled. Her cracked throat itched for more. Quickly, she placed the kits into the grave she had dug and hurried back to camp.
But the thoughts didn’t leave her as she laid in her nest that night. Thoughts swirled around her of plump, full meals, driving her insane. So she crept out of the camp and dug up the graves.
Sickened by what she had done, Meadowpaw refused what meals could be found, but eventually the need for survival took over, and when rations had dwindled further, she re-dug fresh graves, satisfying her belly.
A little too well, it seemed, as cats were starting to notice how much fuller than everyone she seemed. She decided to stop, not after eating her own mother.
It was a good thing she had stopped, too, because the same time Meadowpaw usually slipped out was when cats arrived at the grave site with a new addition, shocked and horrified to see what had happened to the bodies already there.
With the Clan believing it to have been nasty rogues, Meadowpaw wasn’t caught. Time passed, and she became Meadowlark, later falling in love with Olivegaze from Thunderclan. He was a pleasent mate, but his suggestion of kits slammed Meadowlark into the horrific memories of what she had done to those kits, and things ended between them.
Dedicating to herself, Meadowlark climbed the ranks, becoming the new leader of Windclan.
Then a leaf-bare hit the Clans, as harsh if not harsher than the one Meadowstar had experienced as an apprentice.
She tried everything, doubling patrols, hunting beyond the border, Stars, she even asked for help from another Clan.
But the Clan was still on the brink of all dying from starvation. So when that fate met one warrior, falling in the center of camp, she saw no other choice than to order her Clan to eat his corpse, with the help of her loyal convincing warriors.
After that, Meadowstar managed to convince them to hunt down loners, rogues, and kittypets, stating that eating them was better than being forced to eat another starved Clanmate.
Things were fine for a while, even after the particularly agressive foaming rogue that bit Meadowstar before she killed him.
Or, it was until Cricketpaw decided they couldn’t handle it, and ran to the other Clans to report what Windclan was doing.
Perhaps it was perfect timing. Feeling weird, more crazed than ever, Meadowstar began attacking Clanmates for less and less fair reasons, eventually culminating in her eating her father.
The other Clans arrived to put a stop to Windclan’s actions, only to find the terrified warriors hiding away from their camp.
Olivestar found Meadowstar in Windclan’s camp, all hope of being able to reason with her lost at the site of the mouth-foaming, unkempt she-cat who wandered around as though not in control of her own body at all.
Ruthlessly, she attacked him, managing to keep the upper hand even when other cats show up to help Olivestar. The fight moves from the camp and closer to the gorge, where a particularly tasty-looking Thunderclan warrior gets Meadowstar’s attention.
Driven by his need to protect his warriors, Olivestar manages to get a good few blows in before tackling Meadowstar into the gorge, where they would both lose all of their lives.
While Olivestar was blessed with the fields of Starclan, Meadowstar was sent to the Place of No Stars, cursed two forever experience eternal hunger no matter how much she eats.

OLIVEKIT > OLIVEPAW > OLIVEFACE > OLIVESTAR
Olivestar has been the leader of Heather Colony for countless moons, longer than most currently living cats can remember. She has a reputation for being very understanding and flexible towards her cats, a trait that is both respected and scorned in equal measure. Her old age has made her increasingly lax on top of it all, and cats from all clans are wondering if she can be convinced to retire.
One of Olivestar’s greatest accomplishments as leader was stopping the long-running conflict between Heather Colony and Beach Colony. Wildstar and her have become two of the friendliest leaders in history, to the point where most cats from the youngest generations of both clans are completely unaware that there was a war to begin with.

i'm not too sure which blog to post about this on so why not on main, fuck it. i've been considering reworking my warriors ocs into being their own unique clans rather than just the ones from canon
their lore has always been that these clans are DISTANT descendants of the canon clans whose ancestors broke away to find their own home (for a lot of reasons, mostly prey scarcity but also Political Stuff) so my line of logic is that they just made their own versions of the clans in their new territory
but thinking about it more, i feel like maybe they would want to rename their new groups? after all, they left that old life behind for a reason, and the new territory would likely call for cats to adapt differently than they did in the old territories.
i kinda want to make them into three clans that inhabit a large span of territory? my current map for the territories feels pretty crowded so making it bigger would probably be better regardless
the issues with this change would be
1) i would have to mess around with the lore a bit; windclan, riverclan, and shadowclan i have the clearest plans for so they're the obvious choices for being reworked with the others being fused into them, but skyclan and thunderclan still do have some plot stuff. i'd have to be REALLY careful planning which characters get transferred to which clans for it to still make sense
2) there's one cat specifically that i really wanted to be leader of thunderclan that would likely have to either stay a warrior or be born waaaay later in the timeline (i could also possibly make four clans instead of three, i don't have an idea of who the future skyclan leader might be so?)
3) speaking of leaders, i'm pretty attached to most of my current cast of those too. pipitstar and ivystar have designs that i really love and i'd hate to have to cut them. i DO have plans for a separate "clan" of cats living in twolegplace that are unrelated to the real clans, but neither of those two would fit in that group. and i can't exactly switch them out for any of the others; wildstar and olivestar being leaders of their respective clans is integral to the plot. maggotstar i guess could be swapped because he's the one i'm least attached to but that would still leave one of the two out, unless again i have four clans instead
4) it would make the clans pretty big unless i destroy a bunch of background characters. apparently canon clans are way bigger than what the allegiances say so maybe i could get away with a slightly larger cast, but it's still something i'm concerned about; i don't want to push the envelope too much. i could possibly rework some of them into being kittypets/loners/rogues though
