season 1 really was the perfect combination of nostalgia comedy and original, heartfelt storytelling. they shouldve just quit after that they were never going to be able to top it

#its so clear too that like. they let the success of their reboot go to their heada and get in the way of WHY people #liked it #it WASNT all nostalgia bait. it balanced it all so perfectly. if was fresh while still retaining the heart of the films #like. even the soundtrack deteriorated. in the early seasons they had just the right balance #but then everyone praised it so they started overloading it #its all alsbshajskklx im just sad! this season is genuinely SO good #i almost expected to go back and realoze that it was never good….but it was!!! it was amazing!!! and i miss it so much #ck rewatch

#normally i cry a lot at tragic dramas but this is the only happy fluffy drama that makes me keep bursting into tears #from the sheer overload of emotions. like the joy and nostalgia and the way it highlights how precious every happy moment is #aough i'm literally choking up just thinking about it #it's so good. but makes me so so emotional #crying again #HOW..IT'S LITERALLY A HAPPY SERIES WHERE NOTHING BAD EVER HAPPENS. realizing that when i finally finish rewatching pokemon i'll finally be able to rewatch certain episodes....

#i mean i know i CAN obviously rewatch episodes whenever i want but im trying to prevent an overload #which is why im pacing myself with different shows between seasons #so i feel like rewatching episodes when i dont need to will just lead to me getting burnt out #so im setting it as a goal instead.... when i get over journeys i can rewatch the gliscor eps again #at this point its been years since i saw them dubbed too #ngl i do sorta regret watching dp and bw subbed cause like. it was fun and a good experience #but ive got much more nostalgia for the dubs of both of those and they were easier to sit through #some of the original voices are better but marc thompson's goofy ass gliscor voice was one of the selling points to me #echoed voice

Without a doubt, Uncle Grandpa is one of my personal favorite CN shows of all time! I remember watching it when it premiered in 2013 and hooked on it. Now I'm rewatching it on Hulu and still holds up to this day!🚙🌈🍕🦖🐅🤖🌭🧸

There is not a single other object show that's more nostalgic to me than Object Overload.

While not the first object show I watched, It was the first show that really got me into object shows back in 2016, and it still influences the characters I make to this day. So you could imagine how happy I was to hear it was coming back a few months ago lol.

Top Hat was my absolute favorite character back then (my man was so robbed ;v;), and he's not complete without Dusty! So I drew the two together.
