Tews Falls, Ontario
Tews Falls in July 2019 So many waterfalls in Ontario, so many yet to explore. Tews Falls is one of the really beautiful waterfalls in the Hamilton area. Of the four waterfalls I saw in Hamilton in 2019, this was probably my favorite. But again, there are many more waterfalls in the area. Spent way too long flipping back and forth through the pages of my mushroom book trying to ID this thing. Still not sure what it is, but a really flat-capped Gymnopus dryophilus / Collybia dryophila (same 'shroom, two names; three if you count the common name of oak collybia) is my best guess.
