Naiovhe

This is Naiovhe, first image: lines were done by ivyviking214 then I colored. Naiovhe is a void beast (no official name for them yet) that travels with Vivienne under her care and mentoring. He’s a little squid child that is full of antics and curiosities about everything, everywhere.

Just more finagling and adding to my roster of void beasts. No name for this guy but he’s like this chaotic neutral guy that hangs around in odd places and just very knowledgeable yet likes to have his own version of fun on occasion. He likes to spend time amongst mortals in various places and just be a fly on the wall, but more like at the friggin table and joining in on conversations. He becomes a mentor for Vivienne and Naiovhe at some point.

Wholesome tender moment for my bday that I wanted to color up. Vivienne and Naiovhe have a rocky start but have an incredible bond over time.

Just blogging my socials here too. Dunno what the next big trend will be and it’ll be exhausting for some sites to keep up with. It’s all crazy right now.

Deviantart I have stored all my images because of the AI thing. Honestly even if they have changed the default for images we create to be auto permitted to AI whatever I have been slowly crawling away from the site anyways. It’s not what it used to be. Also just the user interface is annoying. I’m just tired of it. I’ll have it but I’m not going to maintain a lot of it anymore I don’t think.

Twitter, I have no damn clue. I literally have no clue what is going to happen with this dumpster fire of a site. It’s got issues and then more issues yet it’s been a popular platform because of the whole tumblrpocalypse back a few years ago. So uhhhhh ya.

Furaffinity, I’m honestly just ready to move on from it. I have nothing against it or furries. It’s just not what I want to be seen as or associated or adjacent of being a furry when I’m not. I have done so many commissions. Most was furry related and over time it’s just kind of been my own personal downfall to where I have hardly anything that’s me out there or what makes me, me. So I’m not pointing or blaming anyone but myself and just also due to life circumstances I have been nothing but grateful to the work I was able to do to get thru everything thanks to that site. I’m at point where I don’t need to rely so much on comms and I need to focus on myself and what art I want to do. So thanks for being there and getting me thru a lot of the crap back then and sort of still now too. I just need to spread my wings and reshape myself.

Tumblr I’m not sure yet how active I wanna be on here if nothing else pans out. It’s hard to get a following unless you do like fanart I feel like to gain traction it seems. Dunno yet.

Pillowfort seems to be the new tumble but not sure if I wanna join.

Inkblot I just opened and I heard it’s still early in dev but like passable and it looks very promising. It’s just some bumps of user interface I have yet to explore and compare to others.

Instagram is whatever. Everyone knows it’s a dump of a site for backlog tik toks or snaps or art thieves and some backlog for some artists just to have a footprint on another checklist site to have.

ArtStation I feel like I’m waaaaay out of my league on there but once I build myself up better I will make it better.

But ya thats my thoughts and me just updating.

Finally decided to write a tiny snippet of vivienne and Naiovhe first entering a new world together just after they are paired up to learn from one another. I’m mostly going to be doing stuff like this when the mind decides to dabble and write. There won’t be any long chapter stories and what not. Probably down the lines I’d maybe pair it all up together as a multi chapter but each not connected and out of order.

Overall situation is vivienne finally meets a clan/hive/conclave/group/whatever after so many years of traveling alone, immortal and seeking answers if she’d ever find any while struggling to find any sort of peace yet fearful of void beasts. Turns out the ones that caused the calamity of her world/dimension are infected void beasts that became unstable or due to some virus that even the normal and unaffected ones are trying to find the source. Kind of like white blood cells. Anyways they are fascinated with vivienne in terms of what she is and how she survived while simultaneously also infected. They want to study and see if she’s any risk or worth keeping around so as part of naiovhe’s first assignment of independence and leaving the nest he will be watching over her while simultaneously learning from her as well. Course viv isn’t too thrilled because he’s a void beast and she’s dealing with them or it’s a life or death or imprisonment she goes with it. So it’s rocky from the get go yet Naiovhe is still a kid and will do kid things that may test her patience on occasion but ultimately she finally has company on her journey. She won’t be alone.
