Brightliners at Rockefeller by amtraknortheast1 Via Flickr: MTA New York City Subway Budd R32 3894 pauses briefly at 47-50 Streets-Rockefeller Center. After roughly 56 years of service (the transit museum will tell you 58 as the final run is occurring in 2022), the Budd R32 “Brightliners” are finally receiving a sendoff following their initial retirement from passenger operations in October 2020. Operating as a D train, the farewell train will continue down a branch of the IND 6th Avenue Line that will lead it to 7th Avenue station on 53rd Street before finally merging with the IND 8th Avenue line at 59th Street-Columbus Circle. 3894 displays a wreath on its front end, doubling as a sort of holiday special. This is the 2nd of 4 sundays of retirement runs, with the final run occurring Sunday, January 9, 2022 on the Q between Brighton Beach and 96th Street.

It’s a shame.

If I go back to NYC, now I’ll have nothing to wash my clothes against.

Ok so I finally gave NCT 2023 a try, first of all the album it’s not bad, just not really my favorite.

Starting with GOLDEN AGE, the song it’s not really that bad the chorus it’s good and the instrumental it’s so nice (some parts) I really liked it, but the verses are a little painful to hear, they did the rap line so bad!! The vocal line carried the song! Sadly it doesn’t help it to be good! 🤷🏽‍♂️

So… BAGGY JEANS… I didn’t like it hahaha, and it’s not because it’s bad, it’s quite catchy. I realized that I just don’t like Ten and Taeyong (hate their solo work so bad) also I hate GOLDEN HOUR, so this song was really not for me, had to admit Doyoung carried the whole song (as expected). Being honest, I was a little angry that t7s unit was the main unit this time instead of a new lineup!

Aside from that I kinda appreciate that a lot of “mistreated” members got to participate on a lot of songs this time, sadly most of the fandom didn't wanted this comeback!

After all the mess that happened this year I’m really not vibing with NCT 2023!

Finally, N.Y.C.T. Was quite disappointing, was expecting something different and it felt so MEH! Really the silence was SO LOUD with this one! NCT LABs are getting so boring! It’s always the same theme for the songs! Give me something new and unique! No other song has been as new and fresh as CHILD!

Also, this is Taeil’s second flop on NCT LAB?!? How?!?! I’m blaming SM for this!

Haechan: "To tell you briefly, among the songs that I, Taeil-hyung, and Deez-hyung wrote together, there's a song that I like more than "Love Sign". I'm not sure if I can play that song, but I want to if I get a chance. It feels like a computer has generated my favorite song. It is my style itself."

Note: They left "N.Y.C.T." unreleased on purpose, with "Love Sign" being featured on The Link concerts instead since it's a song made as a concert piece.

I'm glad that he got to show a snippet of his favorite self-written song. Haechan's always happy to share his craft with the fans, and I am just in awe listening to it and watching him perform. He's grooving to it so playfully, too. The laid-back vibe of the song makes me bounce to it, but damn is it a difficult song. The high notes are insane! Needless to say, I want to hear the full version.
