She’s been making crane origami for about....An hour. 

The Conductor slouching in her chair, ignoring those around her as the table in front of her had piles of paper cranes. Fingers folding creases perfectly and tucking in the paper in ways as the small birds formed in her hands.

Miu paused, the dark gray origami paper folded in half before she slowly crushed it into her fist...

Miu is just...Universal ‘shush’ signal.

“...What do mummies listen to on Halloween?”

There’s quite a long pause as she gazes outward, she’s so still until she slowly opens her mouth.

“...Wrap music.”

The young Conductor is merely on the steps in front of a coffee shop, sipping an iced tea of all things as she watched the crowds. Weaving in and out of the crowds she could easily see Players, all frantically scrambling as the Third Day started.

Miu sipped her drink, pretending she wasn’t looking through before stopping a moment. The chimes of the Music of Ginza suddenly going off in such a way that made her jerk up from her seat.

Visitor?

She slowly stood up and began to step down the steps before standing in the middle of the street, the Conductor’s head turning to the right and left before moving forward. The Music playing much slower than usual until she stopped a moment, her eyes staring at the back of someone’s. Her hand reaching out to lightly tug at the back of his jacket, firmly yet still gentle enough, to try and get his attention to look at her.

“....Mr. H you’re really not making it unconvincing....”

Hands over a pepper spray, “It’s not the best birthday gift, but here Miss Ex-Reaper....And if you have to, remember just kick really hard. No mercy.”

“Noboru-nii, it’s the red-”

“Miu please don’t yell anything right now. Do not out me....” The last thing he wants is for anyone to find out he plays visual novels....Specifically otome ones.

She’s holding the newest Paddi plush, the uniform with hearts on the little hat and his uniform. Honestly it was pretty shocking to learn the plush was being sold in Shibuya of all places, but Miu had made the trek alone-After ensuring she had permission, she wasn’t Aoi-and bought it.

It was big enough for the Conductor to hug and it was when she was leaving the store she had run into the ‘legendary Player’ himself.

Hence to where they stood now....With him questioning Paddi as she resists pouting at his remark.

“There’s all sorts of cute mascots out there, it shouldn’t surprise you that Paddi would be such. He’s just the cutest to me, it’s like when someone adores say...Certain franchises that appeal to children, but to adults still as it has a heavy impact that brings them joy even after many years.”

Miu offered the girl a napkin, noticing how there were crumbs on the table. It was crowded in the small café and she noticed how the servers weren’t exactly quick enough to clean and clear off a few tables. The Conductor had gone ahead inside, the place was approved for Players, and had settled to watch a few Players and Reapers who went in and out during the day.

Just watching to make sure the first Day was going smoothly....

She had caught sight of the girl, hesitating at the table before stepping over, “It’s busy, but if you want I can ask for someone to clean this off for you right away...”

“I AM NOT A TSUNDERE!”

“.....You sure Noboru-nii?”

“....Is it really that hard to find a gift for someone on their birthday?”

“....Shibuya’s Producer,” Miu nods before bowing to him, “Miu Yoshi, Ginza’s Conductor. It’s an honor and I thank you for speaking with Aoi-nii and Noboru-nii.” 

She gives him a small smile, “We don’t have a lot of people to talk to aside from each other, Akihabara’s Composer and our Reapers.”

“But isn’t ‘roasting’ friends a good thing? It shows that you’re all best friends right?”
