Just over 2 weeks of my memory keeping journal! I’m pretty proud of myself for sticking with it so far. Granted, I fell behind with a few days and had to play catch up but, it’s lovely to see my day to day life laid out like this.
I think it’s actually getting me to appreciate life a little more.
Currently using a combination of the HP Sprocket and the Canon Zoemini 2 for my photos but I’m worried about the book getting too chunky.
I’m also debating on making my handwriting a bit harder to read. Just because it’s super annoying having to go in and blur things.
Can’t decide whether to switch up my cover either. I’ve got quite the collection of covers and I hate the blue colour on the inside of this one.

Trash to Treasure

Happy 2024! Here is my Hobonichi spread from New Year’s Day and a bit about Christmas. I also put together a collage of photos from my favourite trips away in 2023.
I’ve got the A6 Hon for memory keeping and daily journaling.
Not sure on the cover I chose for this year. I love the gingham but the blue inside offends me personally. I have the Brownie plaid cover too which I may switch to later in the year.
I’ll be using a combination of systems this year. My Hobonichi Hon A6 as mentioned above, Hobonichi weeks for every day appointment planning and to do lists, TN for commonplacing. I’ve got Tarot, Embroidery, Crochet and Illustration notes planned for that. I also have a rings but I haven’t quite decided what I want to use this for yet. Basically, every system I’ve ever owned since I was around 12 I want to find some sort of use for.
Featuring a few stickers by @petite-gloom in case anyone wanted to know.

The small trinket in his pocket: He doesn't like looking at it, but takes it everywhere. He flinches when his fingers mistakenly brush against the surface of it, yet whenever anxious, he searches for it in the pocket. You see, there's a certain paradox memories create- you cannot remember the ache and forget the love. You also cannot remember the love and forget the ache. You have to suffer the remnant taste of both. You must choke on the poison you want to savour the taste of. That's how stories go. That's how they always have- like a small trinket in the pocket. The trinket one doesn't like looking at but walk everywhere with.

The girl with a boy cut ,
Her smile so bright ,
I was sitting alone at the back,
Everyone making fun of me for being shy,
You shook my hands ,
I remember you always standing on my side .
What happened to us ?
Now you won't even pass me a smile .
It upsets me that you've forgotten those memories which I cherish enormously.
