It's finally out folks!! The second chapter has already come out as well but it won't be posted today, I've already worked too long on this xD I'll have it by tomorrow!
Enjoy! Source below, visit with a VPN.
This is the second big comic of Villainous, it will always be tagged as villainous:the risky heist. If you want to read the previous one, search the tag villainous:a shrunken rescue. There were also random short comics released, all of those are found under official villainous comics.
The Media And Governmental Authority Is Trying To Justify Heed's Brainwashing
They justify it by saying she put crime down by 65%, but that's because she was forcing them into being good without it being from the heart. Not to mention they omitted she also was brainwashing heroes which again is another thing they are trying to do which is clean her image since it would reflect badly on them for vouching for someone who would use her own allies to bolster her fanbase.
And the anchor actually admits that a controlled villain is better than one set loose. In other words, I think she knows those villains were mind controlled and doesn't mind that they lose their free will. Man, it really shows how this world is fucked up enough that free will is the price to pay to stop villains. And again foreshadowing Goldheart's intentions with his plans to rid villainy.
I'm loving the Risky Robbery comic so far! I had to try drawing Mawrasite and Illuminarrow, I love their designs, hopefully I can draw more of them
Also exciting news! I updated FireAlpaca and now it can record the drawing process! It's under the cut
Ngl it's super satisfying to choose a drawing program because it's free, never upgrade because you can't be bothered even though you don't have the cool features everyone else does and then eventually those features get added anyway.
Como algunos saben, a la app de CN le dieron el hachazo y eso ha hecho que los comics de Villanos corran el riesgo de perderse, así que me tome el trabajo de capturar todo de El Atraco Arriesgado y subirlo a Drive.
Big thanks to @tracineu13 for translating this chapter!
I absolutely loved every chapter of this comic, the art's amazing and the story was super fun and interesting! I really hope we get more comics in the future :)
I wish I had the time to continue translating this comic, but sadly life happened and I could only do the first pages. Traci did an amazing job! Things are better now so I hope by the time a new comic comes out, I'll translate again!
thought it would be cool to post a pic of EVERY piece of villainous merch i've ever made. (this excludes 4 or so oc custom charms i did for other people). some of these have been discontinued, some are going to be discontinued, some are NEW, even!! some i'm trying to figure out how to sell and have stock for but uhhhhhh etsy please get a maturity filter. please. im begging you
> you can check out my store here <
(i have three of the paperlizardhat charm set left, and they come with extra extra freebies and are steeply discounted! rescue me from etsy listing fees)
full disclosure: with g-lo, illuminarrow, and mawrasite, i'm probably going to cool it on charms for now, with only the occasional new sticker. villainous isn't exactly lucrative when it comes to sales, and it's always been purely passion for me (when i do my taxes, we'll see if i broke even 😅) but i want to diversify my shop and get some different fandoms in there -- on the docket is a full homestuck charm set (16 characters), some hazbin stuff, and an OFF sticker pack, among other things. this isn't to say that ill never make more villainous merch, just that i need to make some other things for a while, and as long as something isn't discontinued, i'll keep restocking it.
