It's a new day and I still cannot stop thinking about that wesper scene!!!
I am trying to focus and carry on with the day but all I can think about is how in Jesper's nightmare/flashback which was essentially a sweet dream where he got to meet his mom again and she was so proudly telling him how Jesper was a natural and he would turn spoons into rings and coins into keys ... AND THEN JESPER USED A COIN TO MAKE THE KEY FOR WYLAN!!!!
Jesper is actually no longer hiding what makes him special. He is sitting with his lover in his bed and having a heart to heart and doing magical stuff 🥹
*twinkling sounds when Jesper makes the key*
And then the way Jesper is flustered when Wylan thought the key is a coat hook and started overthinking his sweet gesture (he is so me!) 🥺
Wylan saying “that is the kindest thing that anyone has ever done for me.” with his starry eyes filled with surprise, gratitude, hope and perhaps even love (?) 🥹🥹🥹🥹
They are so used to having their armour up but in that moment they are just fearlessly themselves and trusting each other with their vulnerability. I am going to actually cry now :'",,) <3
God I love them and their love so very much!!! 🥺💙💜💖🫶🏼
I wonder if one day Jesper would again turn a spoon into a ring. Only that time it would be the most beautiful ring to ever exist because it's literally crafted with love for someone just as lovely and beautiful 🥹

i have many many many critiques about wylls story, most of them being about the fact it's just so lackluster in game when compared to other companions which is a shame. because wyll to me is and has the potential to be an even more emotionally compelling companion. and he was early access!! he was so gritty in ea please bring him back larian i beg of thee. the way he was rewritten has stripped him of so much nuance and depth. wyll to me is such a wonderful character to me because of what he represents, which is heroism so down to his core he never gives up on it even when he ought to
his goodwill and nobility are ceaseless. at the center of his story is betrayal trauma, his agency over himself vanished into thin air. mizora turns him into a monster and there is no turning back. he has become the thing he's despised, the things he's hunted for his entire life. and we know so little about that canonically because of the way his story is set up but its hinted time and time again that he struggles with his reality deeply and even that cannot make him turn away from the city he loves so much.
if larian would go back to clean up and fix his story (which im truly praying to god they do) i want them to touch on what wyll must be going through as he continues to try to ground himself and deal with his newfound reality. i want them to touch on the abandonment he experiences because of his father and the inevitable burden his title as blade and hero has on him. because these things obviously compel him, they're hinted at all the time but they were completely stripped of him in final release and its fucking disheartening... larian please im begging you. thats the love of my life. please.
but for now i will do it with fanfiction and gather enough wyll fans to make a fuss about it . peace and love

So, @silv-paru sent Sherlock Holmes for the character opinion bingo. thanks a bunch for this (and for your patience. my god, i’m answering this a week late. typical me behaviour). you’re a darling :D
Did you know, i used to tell these stories to my friends? they delighted in them AND i got a chance to sort of ramble on and on abt him and watson. it was a win-win, really. ah, those were the days! now i haven’t reblogged much of him this month at all. i miss him. I MISS HIM.
Onto the bingo: well. he’s The quintessence of gender™ to me. and i relate to him so so much. fav character of all time fr. i want to carry him in my pocket at all times & study him. like. do i want to BE him OR am i IN LOVE with him, ykwim? pssh who knows? certainly not me. uh-huh ‘a beast unleashed’ -does this refer to me or him? you choose. oh re: canon, i’m ignoring the part where holmes dies (or y’know, is dead for 3 years). that’s too angsty.

things about my beatiful man season 2 episode 1 that I've noticed and absolutely adore:
- Kiyoi dressed up in Hira's blue (honorable mention to Hira dressed up in Kiyoi's red)
- colors!!! (red, blue and yellow!!)
- Kiyoi's sweater paws
- Hira not explaining what he photographed to the members of the photograpy club, but explaining it without hesistation or fear of judgement to Kiyoi
- the intro: 1. the duck, 2. them looking back at eacjother at the same time in front of the bench, and of course 3. Hira kissing Kiyoi's hand and them melting into eachother as the lyrics go 'this happiness is eternal'
- Kiyoi defending Hira's appearance and promptly deciding he needs to go show off his man immediately
- 'you're handsome enough for me to fall in love again'
- Kiyoi not even thinking twice about canceling on the afterparty because Hira was uncomfortable and Hira completely overthinking it lmao
- Hira not noticing he was being flirted with and Kiyoi the whole time in the foreground looking so pissed and confused that people are flirting with his man
- Kiyoi being like 'yes i think ur hot, but you're not allowed to be popular bc you cant leave me' while Hira is absolutely not thinking about leaving him. ever.
- Kiyoi asking to be fed by Hira twice (and Hira feeding him icecream!!)
- Kiyoi being all possesive and then getting embarassed about it in the morning
- KIYOI LAYING IN HIRA'S LAP
- Hira still obsessed with photographing Kiyoi and Kiyoi exclusively (and how extremely attractive Kiyoi thinks this is)
- Hira wat watching the little documentary thing entirely encases in (his) blue light while (Kiyoi's) red light from the tv shines in his face
- Kiyoi totally modeling a little bit for Hira
- Hira calling Kiyoi cute (relatable) and being his dramatic self about it
theres more but um i have only watched the episode 4 times (technically 3 bc i wasnt really watching while writing this)

critical film studies (2x18) as an episode will never not be really really cool and plain brilliant to me because at the root of it,,, it's about two people trying to make the other happy and understand each other even when they feel like they're very different in their approaches to life
towards the end of it,,, Jeff is angry at Abed when he figures out that it wasn't a real conversation after all but I personally feel that this is the realest we see both of them being,,, in the sense that abed's reality to a huge extent is these movies because that's how he understands and contextualises his life and the things and the people that are in his life,,, while his story and "confessions" were fake the idea behind them wasn't (at least as far as I understand considering the way he takes over "characters" in so many episodes that alter the way he reacts to and with people),,, at the end of the day,,, he just wanted to be able to talk to Jeff the way he believes Jeff will be more receptive to it (a mature, "real" conversation wherein he's not being "weird") and spend some time with him considering they haven't been able to lately and he feels uncertain about their relationship
Jeff on the other hand, is having a real conversation for the first time on the show (real here being more in the sense of actually talking about things that happened in his life rather than focusing on deflecting and focusing on other peoples problems instead so that they forget he has them as well),, and all throughout its very visible how aware Jeff is of his ability to talk to people and around them in circles and persuade them to do the things that he wants but for the first time on the show it feels like he's not trying to do or be anything when he's talking (at least that's what I get out of it and assume to be a "real" conversation in this context) to Abed,,, which is why it's so heartbreaking to realise that it was based a movie in the end,,, because it felt like he finally had someone he could talk to about anything without being scared of being judged for it but it was technically,,, a lie
also,,, i love love love the amount of effort Jeff went through to make sure that Abed was happy and had a good birthday ,,,, the fact that Jeff went back to pay even after being technically lied to by Abed (in a major way) will never not be sweet and cool and fucking adorable in a heart clenching kind of way
also also,,, the fact that the life that Abed describes for Chad from Cougar Town is something that could be the way he imagines his life would be like were he to be "normal" is definitely something i headcanon (and the fact that Chad falls in love with his best friend I-)

Gosh, desperately want to find a gifset of a VERY SPECIFIC Hoseok moment 'cause I see it all the damn time as a clip, of Hoseok making the Namjoonie-sus and Junkookie-sus joke! That's probably the most stunning he's ever looked IMO, but it's such an old clip now that even if someone did gif it before I would not be able to find it on this hell site...
Do any of my gif making moots wanna take a request 👐🥺
Like it's criminal how good-looking he is in this video, congrats to their entire team (make-up artists, hair stylists, costume designers) and his genetics for this one, changed the course of my life actually.
