What’s the deal with Dani and Puig?? I know almost all fans dislike him. I’ve heard things of him supposedly pushing Marc too hard, but Marc had a lot of praise for him in the Honda video highlighting his role (I know he wasn’t going to sit there and trash on him, but the praises seemed different). And I’ve heard things of him pushing Dani out??

I don't think they mind their inbox flooding. But happy to be considered for historic ask!

What's the deal with Dani and Puig?? Where do I start? Their relationship goes back a long way. In fact, people will say (Puig including) that Dani owns his career to Puig. Dani started his racing life in mini-bikes/pocket bikes (those small bikes, I'm not sure the name in English). He actually manages to win the Spanish championship on his first try. Dani's parents could not afford to pay for a 125cc bike, so Dani gave up and was going to focus on bicycles, until he was informed about a new promotion cup.

The 'Moviestar Joven Activa Cup' was a promotion cup organized by DORNA and in front of the project they have put an ex-rider Alberto Puig. Dani was too young for it. He was 13 and a half (1999), and they asked for the 'riders' to be at least 14 years old, and he didn't know how to use the gears. Despite all of that, Dani was selected because Puig was impressed because Dani decided to put a personal dossier with all his wins and photos with the application. So Puig asked Ezpeleta and they both agree to bend the rules, so Dani could get in the cup. Dani was selected after the bike's test (spoiler, the bike was too big and everyone was questioning (even Puig at some point) if Dani was suited to be there). Dani was not the fastest out there, but despite that, Alberto chose him because he saw the lines the kid was choosing on track. Puig went with a 'gut feeling' and choose Dani among other rider to be part of the cup.

According to Dani, the top-3 riders from the Moviestar Joven Activa Cup (1999) were going to move on to the CEV (Spanish Velocity Championship), which now is the Junior Championship. Dani finished in 8th position, so he was supposed to do another year in the cup. Puig decided that Dani was going to be the 3rd rider for the Moviestar team, and he didn't care about the protest or breaking the law. (Puig's word about this 'I broke twice the laws with Dani and I was concerned, but I also was concerned because I knew I was gonna break the law').

At the end of the first year (2000), Dani finished in 4th position in the CEV, and his teammates finished 1 and 2. In 2001, the Moviestar team debuted in the championship, it was supposed to be Tony Elias and the 2 best riders of the CEV team, Dani was not gonna join the team. But guess what? Yes, Puig acted again! At this point, everyone knew that Dani was Puig's project/Dani was Puig's protégé. Puig become Dani's manager in 2006.

In 2005, Dani described Puig as his best friend, but something happened between that moment and the end of 2013. I think their relationship become a bit colder or maybe it was Dani thinking he needed a change, but Dani fired Puig as his manager. I think it has to do with Dani being in the official team and being outshone by his teammates. In 2011, it was supposed to be Dani's championship and his teammate, Casey Stoner won it. And then 2012 it was the closest he was to be world champion, but Jorge took it. And then in 2013, his rookie teammate Marc Márquez won in a bike that was supposed to suit Dani's riding style. There's this article (it's in Spanish) that says Puig moved to a HRC role in the promotion cups, but apparently Dani fired him as a manager and Honda wanted to keep him around.

In 2018, Puig become Repsol Honda's team manager. There are articles that say he really tried to help both Dani and Marc as the bike was one of the most difficult to ride, but at the end of the year, Puig choose Jorge Lorenzo instead of keeping Dani. The same Jorge Lorenzo, who has been Dani's biggest rival, and the same rider Puig was not a fan of. Some people say he did it because Puig was pissed with Dani firing him as his manager. Anyway, Puig talked dirty about Dani once Pedrosa retired from MotoGP. He just implied that Dani threw away all his chances of getting the MotoGP title once he was not there to supervise him.

There's also the test rider contract thing. Apparently Honda and Puig offered it to Dani, but Pedrosa rejected it and choose KTM and it's a big question mark. I can't remember the year when it was, but was already with Marc in Honda, Dani accepted a considerable reduction in his salary to stay loyal with Honda, despite other teams offering more money. So again, why did he choose to say 'no' to the team and manufacturer he has worked all his life? There were rumours saying that the test rider offer from Honda was fake, or that Dani and Puig relationship was so broken that Dani just jumped out of the boat.

Why people do not like Puig? Maybe it's his attitude. He is a brash person, and he goes to the media and lie to them. It's also the way Honda has acted and destroyed riders' life since he arrived.

In 2019, Jorge was Marc's teammate and it was one of Jorge's worst season ever. It was so bad that Lorenzo decided to retire after a big crash and a back injury.

In 2020 Cal was supposed to be Marc's teammate, so Álex had an easier time at Honda without the pressure of his brother as a teammate. Cal refused because he did not want to change his crew. Álex debuted as Marc teammate, and Honda did not renew Cal's contract. Yes, Honda butted him out. It's true that Cal was already thinking about retirement, but Honda never sit and talked with him. Instead of keeping Álex, who had a podium in 2020, at the Repsol Honda Team, Puig went fishing and choose Pol as Marc's teammate and 'demoted' Álex to the LCR team. I want to note that Álex was supposed to start there, but he was already in the manufacturer seat, he could have stayed.

In 2021-2022 Pol was miserable, Álex was miserable and Puig and Honda did terrible. I know that's not Puig's fault, but his job is to protect and make the rider's happy with the bike, and he can't do that. Honda has been erratic and Puig is the visible face of that. He can't make the factory listen to the riders when Marc is not there and his job is actually that, make the rider's voice be heard. Honda is a sinking ship since he got there, and it's not completely his fault.

About him pushing Marc? I'm not a Marc fan nor a Honda and let alone Puig's one so I don't know about that. But what I know is that Honda is dependent of Marc and the only thing Puig did well was to actually prevent Honda to push Marc. He gave Marc the space to heal and take his own decisions regardless of the eye and arm. He did the same for Jorge too. Jorge was supposed to do 2 years with them, but allowed him to retire. I guess he is not so bad after all.

San Marco, a Latina una delegazione della Rete delle Città Marciane. Ha fatto tappa a Latina la Peregrinatio della Lampada votiva e del Vangelo di San Marco. L'iniziativa è stata organizzata dall'amministrazione comunale, sulla base del programma del pellegrinaggio ideato dalla Rete delle Città Marciane, a cui il Comune pontino aderisce da ottobre scorso. Per l'occasione, il Vescovo di Latina, Monsignor Mariano Crociata, ha presieduto la celebrazione eucaristica nella cattedrale San Marco. L'evento è stato preceduto da un momento di accoglienza della delegazione da parte del gruppo scout Agesci Latina 1. Il rito religioso è stato animato dalla corale "San Marco", diretta dal maestro Mauro Bassi. La cittadinanza è stata invitata a partecipare all'evento, svolto alla presenza di una delegazione dei comuni della Rete delle Città Marciane che, oltre a condividere il culto del Santo Evangelista, hanno collaborato sinergicamente alla promozione culturale e turistica dei territori dell'associazione. Gli oggetti sacri, Lampada e Vangelo, provenienti dal comune di Afragola (Napoli), resteranno nel capoluogo pontino fino al 27 aprile, quando una delegazione dell'amministrazione comunale di Latina li consegnerà ad Osvaldo Congiu, sindaco di Ollastra, centro in provincia di Oristano, successiva tappa del pellegrinaggio. La presenza a Latina della delegazione della Rete delle Città Marciane, presieduta da Marco Rizzo, sindaco di Castellabate (Salerno), ha consentito al gruppo di visitare alcuni luoghi pontini dal 19 al 21 aprile. La delegazione è stata ricevuta in Comune per un saluto istituzionale da parte del sindaco Matilde Celentano, dopodiché gli ospiti sono stati accompagnati a visitare il Museo Cambellotti, dove era prevista anche la proiezione di un video sulla storia della cattedrale San Marco, messo a disposizione dalla Curia vescovile di Latina-Terracina-Sezze-Priverno. L’Italia stra-paga un aereo, si lega al fornitore per anni, si mette in casa un gigante dagli enormi costi di gestione e finisce che “i grillini hanno sprecato soldi pubblici”. Gli stessi grillini, ovviamente, che si sono liberati di parte di quei maxi-contratti, pur essendo ormai tardi per rimediare a tutte le sanguinose perdite.

La vicenda è quella dell’Airbus A340-500, molto più noto come Air Force Renzi perché voluto nel 2016 dall’allora premier Matteo Renzi per rinforzare la flotta di Stato a disposizione sua (ma non fece in tempo a utilizzarlo mai) e delle altre cariche istituzionali. Nei giorni scorsi, il Corriere ha rivelato come, a cinque anni di distanza dalla rinuncia al leasing per volontà del governo Conte-1, il velivolo sia ancora piazzato in un hangar a Fiumicino, abbandonato.

La notizia ha offerto al Riformista – incidentalmente diretto dallo stesso Renzi – l’occasione per ribaltare lo storytelling, per usare un concetto una volta tanto caro al senatore semplice di Rignano: non è lui ad aver approvato un’operazione faraonica, ma è il Movimento 5 Stelle ad aver mandato all’aria una sacrosanta trattativa in nome del populismo, buttando via un sacco di soldi e un aereo che sarebbe ancora un gioiellino. “Etihad ha fatto causa ad Alitalia e l’Italia continua a pagare la compagnia”, sostiene il quotidiano.

La versione di Renzi omette però qualche dettaglio fondamentale. Innanzitutto le cifre. All’epoca l’Italia si sobbarcò un leasing di 8 anni dal costo totale di 168 milioni, comprensivi dell’affitto dell’aereo e di diverse spese accessorie.

[…] due anni più tardi Gaetano Intrieri, consulente del ministro Danilo Toninelli ed esperto del settore dell’aeronautica, mise mano al dossier dell’Air Force Renzi per cessare il contratto in essere e rese noto che, durante la sua attività privata, aveva ricevuto tramite la società inglese Eal l’offerta di due Airbus A340-500 Ethiad – identico modello voluto dal nostro governo – tra cui uno in configurazione Vip. Il prezzo? Meno di 6,5 milioni di euro ciascuno, cioè circa 26 volte in meno di quello che Etihad avrebbe incassato dallo Stato per l’affitto dello stesso aereo.

Tra l’altro in quel periodo Etihad, colosso degli Emirati Arabi – aveva acquistato il 49 per cento di Alitalia, in una delle mille tappe della infinita crisi della compagnia di bandiera. Oggi Etihad è lontana da quel che resta di Alitalia, ma Renzi ha mantenuto ottimi rapporti con gli Emirati, dove spesso è in trasferta nella nuova vita da conferenziere e docente universitario. E soprattutto Renzi non rinnega nulla di quell’affare, elogiando sul suo giornale le performance tecniche del velivolo.

[…] un bestione valutato – tra l’altro – 81 milioni per l’affitto, 32 per i costi di manutenzione e altri 12 per il supporto a terra. Secondo il giornale di Renzi, gran parte di quei soldi l’Italia li ha dovuti comunque pagare, nonostante gli annunci dei 5 Stelle (a suo tempo Toninelli e Luigi Di Maio salirono a bordo dell’Airbus per festeggiare lo stop allo spreco pubblico). In realtà fonti vicine al dossier stimano il risparmio in un centinaio di milioni.

Nel frattempo, l’aereo resta lì perché l’Italia non lo vuole più e Etihad non ha alcun interesse a muoverlo da Fiumicino. Negli anni la vicenda ha occupato magistrati civili, amministrativi e penali, ma al Fatto non risulta alcuna condanna di Alitalia – né tantomeno dello Stato italiano – in merito. E dunque al momento resta valida l’interruzione del contratto, dopo che i primi anni di leasing erano costati più di 50 milioni.

Lucien (taken): Loves strong and curvy women. Big hips, big chest, big rear. Loves it when they’re outspoken and enjoy a good fight. Someone who can very easily put him in his place.

Damian (taken): Sexually he prefers thick women. Curves for miles with a coy smile. Romantically? He prefers someone with an easy-going personality. Someone that’s easy to get along with and just hang out. He likes to be able to laugh with them, likes inner strength, someone with a stubborn streak. Oh, and lovely long legs are definitely a bonus.

Lorenzo: Also prefers strength but adores a woman with a big heart. He prefers his ladies more on the curvy side as well and can be seduced easily by just their lips. The way the curl into a smile, how they look when they speak? Biting or licking their lips and man he’ll melt. Loves it when they can dance well too. Move those hips and watch him stare.

Penelope: Big preference for women but isn’t against some fun with a man every once in a while. Doesn’t have any particular physical preference body wise but loves it when they’re easily flustered. To her, there’s nothing better than a cute blush on someone’s face.

Cipriana (taken): Blond hair and blue eyes really seem to be her thing, height too. She’s pretty short so being considered tall to her isn’t that hard to achieve though. She likes someone with a fun side, playful and smart but caring and open about their opinions or thoughts. She’s extremely self-conscious so she’d need someone who can always make sure she knows they still like/care about her. She tends to prefer her partners more on the toned side, nothing too much though.

Elias: No real physical preference for him other than he does seem to really like when they’re short. Not just shorter than him since that’s easy considering he’s 6’6 but actually short. On the smaller side of the 5’ range. He likes his ladies with a kind and gentle heart, ones that are playful and caring and sweet. Someone who blushes a lot is good too and someone with big family values who isn’t just interested in something temporary. Someone who can handle his lame jokes and puns and loves movies as much as he does.

Vinicio: At this point, I think he’s pretty much done with women. After what he endured with Cipriana, he has grown rather harsh towards women in general. But he’d need someone he can get along with, someone who can handle his attitude and awkwardness and how he constantly messes things up. He likes men to be around the same height as him but that’s about all I know or when it comes to physical preference. And someone who makes him feel like he’s not always a total fuck up.

Fidel: Strength. My god does he love a strong woman. Fight him, wrestle him to the ground, pin him and boy watch the heart eyes show up. Other than that, he’s generally pretty open to all physical types of women.

Shohei: Likes both men and women equally but is attracted to a feisty personality and attitude. A fighter for sure. He tends to prefer his partners to be on the leaner side, both men and women, with some definition.

Kitiara: She prefers people more on the quiet side. No real preference for men or women, but just really wants someone she can simply get along with. She does however like a good smile and emotional eyes. Though she’s also intrigued by a bit of mystery too, she’s good at reading people most of the time so someone she can’t read will draw in her curiosity. Also, must must must be an animal lover.

Adrastos: Strong women who don’t need words to get their point across. While he seems to prefer ones with a softer side, he’s also into those who have a dominating presence and a great deal of confidence. Patience is a must with this wolf. The motherly type is also a big thing for him. He’s not very picky appearance wise but they must show him respect and he will do the same in return.

Lilja: While she likes both men and women pretty equally, she tends to prefer women with some masculinity and muscle tone and softer men that are easily flustered. While she likes confidence, too much is a big turn off for her. She’s definitely a butt gal, one both guys and girls.

Luetrim: While Luetrim was in love before, he never got the chance to mate with her so technically he still has a chance but it’s highly unlikely. He’s not looking, he’s not interested. But if I had to say his type, it’s strong confident women. Ones that fit into the small but bites category.

Jacintha: I don’t know really when it comes to her. I know she too prefers women, though she’s more comfortable around men. A kind and gentle personality is key for her though. Expressive eyes and someone who doesn’t pity her. Someone who isn’t afraid to touch and be affectionate and close is very attractive to her.

Avram: Curves for sure. Especially if a woman knows how to use them to her advantage. He prefers a nice chest and waist ratio to most other things but he’s not particularly picky either. And there’s nothing sexier to him than a dominant woman.

Lothar: Holy moly this man will go nuts for feisty women. Fighters. Women with confidence and attitude. Watch him fall to his knees with just the right look, swing those hips and watch him drool. Even more so, give him a good fight, show him your strength and independence and man, he’ll be done for.

Aias: Personally I don’t think he has any. He’s a relatively cold man with a quick tongue so I guess the biggest thing is to not piss him off but be able to roll with his rough edges and the fact that he doesn’t know who or what he really is.

Violet: Strong preference for the ladies. The cuter the better. She likes blushing faces, loud laughter, and fun-loving personalities. She also likes when they’re strong but easy to tease.

Madison: Someone who can show her kindness, get her to accept what she has become and help her to learn to live with it. Someone who is warm but has either a dark side underneath or something of a mystery to them. No preference on gender.

Lucien (taken): Loves strong and curvy women. Big hips, big chest, big rear. Loves it when they’re outspoken and enjoy a good fight. Someone who can very easily put him in his place.

Damian (taken): Sexually he prefers thick women. Curves for miles with a coy smile. Romantically? He prefers someone with an easy-going personality. Someone that’s easy to get along with and just hang out. He likes to be able to laugh with them, likes inner strength, someone with a stubborn streak. Oh, and lovely long legs are definitely a bonus.

Lorenzo: Also prefers strength but adores a woman with a big heart. He prefers his ladies more on the curvy side as well and can be seduced easily by just their lips. The way the curl into a smile, how they look when they speak? Biting or licking their lips and man he’ll melt. Loves it when they can dance well too. Move those hips and watch him stare.

Penelope: Big preference for women but isn’t against some fun with a man every once in a while. Doesn’t have any particular physical preference body wise but loves it when they’re easily flustered. To her, there’s nothing better than a cute blush on someone’s face.

Cipriana (taken): Blond hair and blue eyes really seem to be her thing, height too. She’s pretty short so being considered tall to her isn’t that hard to achieve though. She likes someone with a fun side, playful and smart but caring and open about their opinions or thoughts. She’s extremely self-conscious so she’d need someone who can always make sure she knows they still like/care about her. She tends to prefer her partners more on the toned side, nothing too much though.

Elias: No real physical preference for him other than he does seem to really like when they’re short. Not just shorter than him since that’s easy considering he’s 6’6 but actually short. On the smaller side of the 5’ range. He likes his ladies with a kind and gentle heart, ones that are playful and caring and sweet. Someone who blushes a lot is good too and someone with big family values who isn’t just interested in something temporary. Someone who can handle his lame jokes and puns and loves movies as much as he does.

Vinicio: At this point, I think he’s pretty much done with women. After what he endured with Cipriana, he has grown rather harsh towards women in general. But he’d need someone he can get along with, someone who can handle his attitude and awkwardness and how he constantly messes things up. He likes men to be around the same height as him but that’s about all I know or when it comes to physical preference. And someone who makes him feel like he’s not always a total fuck up.

Fidel: Strength. My god does he love a strong woman. Fight him, wrestle him to the ground, pin him and boy watch the heart eyes show up. Other than that, he’s generally pretty open to all physical types of women.

Stelios: Bold women. Oh how much he loves a woman who isn’t afraid to just take what she wants. Curves, a sexy smile, and a dominating personality and big hits for him.

Shohei: Likes both men and women equally but is attracted to a feisty personality and attitude. A fighter for sure. He tends to prefer his partners to be on the leaner side, both men and women, with some definition.

Kitiara: She prefers people more on the quiet side. No real preference for men or women, but just really wants someone she can simply get along with. She does however like a good smile and emotional eyes. Though she’s also intrigued by a bit of mystery too, she’s good at reading people most of the time so someone she can’t read will draw in her curiosity. Also, must must must be an animal lover.

Adrastos: Strong women who don’t need words to get their point across. While he seems to prefer ones with a softer side, he’s also into those who have a dominating presence and a great deal of confidence. Patience is a must with this wolf. The motherly type is also a big thing for him. He’s not very picky appearance wise but they must show him respect and he will do the same in return.

Lilja: While she likes both men and women pretty equally, she tends to prefer women with some masculinity and muscle tone and softer men that are easily flustered. While she likes confidence, too much is a big turn off for her. She’s definitely a butt gal, one both guys and girls.

Luetrim: While Luetrim was in love before, he never got the chance to mate with her so technically he still has a chance but it’s highly unlikely. He’s not looking, he’s not interested. But if I had to say his type, it’s strong confident women. Ones that fit into the small but bites category.

Jacintha: I don’t know really when it comes to her. I know she too prefers women, though she’s more comfortable around men. A kind and gentle personality is key for her though. Expressive eyes and someone who doesn’t pity her. Someone who isn’t afraid to touch and be affectionate and close is very attractive to her.

Avram: Curves for sure. Especially if a woman knows how to use them to her advantage. He prefers a nice chest and waist ratio to most other things but he’s not particularly picky either. And there’s nothing sexier to him than a dominant woman.

Lothar: Holy moly this man will go nuts for feisty women. Fighters. Women with confidence and attitude. Watch him fall to his knees with just the right look, swing those hips and watch him drool. Even more so, give him a good fight, show him your strength and independence and man, he’ll be done for.

Other gods/demigods/godlike beings. Layla’s not fast to trust them, even less so in some verses than others - American Gods is one verse where she actively tries to avoid anyone not related to her or a known ally.

Uh... If I’m remembering correctly, that would be the talking black cat named Mystic that I used to roleplay within Ayenee chatrooms. Given a lack of a proper dossier at the time, few people figured out that she had ties with Terry Pratchett’s Discworld, as she had been a stray that lived too close to the Unseen University, thus gaining her abilities of speech.

Here on tumblr, just the four I have now. 

Elsewhere? Probably 10 or so, though they were dedicated to a single muse since multimuses didn’t precisely work on those platforms. I used to write several characters from the Discworld (Susan Sto Helit, the Death of Rats, Quoth the Raven, and Twoflower), as well as Dr. Peter Venkman from The Real Ghostbusters (ie the cartoon, mostly early seasons when Peter was still voiced by Lorenzo Music), and Death, Dream, and Delirium/Delight from The Sandman comics, plus a couple of original characters that I barely remember anything about other than one being for Knight Rider.

Di fronte a un tale disegno, non si può che avere terrore di questo clima da Stasi, di questo Stato di psicopolizia teorizzato, come se nulla fosse, in prima serata da un ministro durante la trasmissione più seguita del servizio pubblico.

Solo che poi vai a vedere. Solo che poi vai a sentire. Solo che poi va a riprenderti le dichiarazioni esatte del ministro Speranza. E scopri che, di un'intervista di oltre 26 minuti, il passaggio incriminato è un frammento di non più di 30 secondi durante i quali avviene questo scambio esatto di battute.

Da 24 ore un ministro, un politico serio che ha dimostrato di saper gestire il dossier più complicato che qualunque ministro si sia mai trovato ad affrontare dal dopoguerra ad oggi, viene accusato di essere una specie di stalinista per queste tre, semplicissime, parole: "Ci saranno segnalazioni".

Una frase normalissima, persino ovvia, banale, in un Paese democratico. Se, alle tre di notte di una qualunque giornata, dall'appartamento di fianco sente provenire urla e musica a tutto volume, uno normale va a bussare alla porta per chiedere di smetterla. Se anche l'invito civile cade nel vuoto, alza il telefono e chiama i carabinieri. Fa quella che nel vocabolario italiano si chiama una "segnalazione" senza essere né uno psicopoliziotto né un agente della Stasi sottocopertura ma solo un povero cristo che la mattina dopo si sveglia alle sette per andare al lavoro.

Quando ciò accade, una festa privata diventa fatto e atto pubblico. E, come tale segnalabile e sanzionabile. È già così, è sempre stato così e sempre lo sarà in qualunque paese minimamente civile. Non c’è nessun delatore, nessuna dittatura politica o sanitaria. Tutte sciocchezze.

E invece, nel bel mezzo di una pandemia, con i contagi che salgono precipitosamente, i morti che aumentano, le terapie intensive che tornano a riempirsi, accade che organizzare una festa in casa con decine di persone - verosimilmente senza mascherina né alcuna norma di distanziamento - sia considerato un fatto privato, qualcosa che non ci riguarda, su cui "non mettere becco". E il motivo è semplice: perché ancora in pochi - troppo pochi - hanno chiaro che quel vicino non sta semplicemente dando una festa. Sta, consapevolmente o meno, fabbricando una potenziale bomba. Una bomba sanitaria che, se innescata, prima o dopo esploderà nel suo appartamento, deflagrerà nel condominio e i cui effetti si allargheranno a macchia d'olio nell'isolato, nel quartiere, fino all'ospedale più vicino.

Non è allarmismo. È la routine quotidiana di un virus.

Insomma, siamo di fronte all'ennesima fake news messa in giro ad arte da chi grida ai totalitarismi e alla "dittatura sanitaria" e tira in mezzo anche la goffa difesa della proprietà privata (mai messa in discussione da nessun governo) pur di continuare a fregarsene bellamente delle regole, della società, del prossimo.

Mentre guardate il dito della "segnalazione", ogni tanto preoccupatevi anche di dare un'occhiata alla Luna del virus.

Perché la libertà di dare feste in casa propria finisce dove comincia la nostra di non essere "invitati".

Dai campi agricoli al governo: la storia di lotta di Bellanova andrebbe insegnata nelle scuole Di Lorenzo Tosa 07 Set. 2019 In queste ore hater professionisti (e dilettanti) e bestie provenienti invariabilmente dal milieu culturale – si fa per dire – della destra sovranista hanno dato il via a una campagna d’odio social tra le più violente mai registrate in Italia nei confronti della neo-ministra all’Agricoltura, Teresa Bellanova. Nel mirino degli odiatori seriali sono finiti il curriculum della ministra dem e, in modo ancora più brutale, il suo aspetto fisico e l’appariscente abito blu elettrico con cui ieri Bellanova si è presentata al giuramento della nuova squadra di governo al Quirinale. Due accuse apparentemente lontanissime tra loro, che, tuttavia, sono figlie di un unico comun denominatore: la propagazione dell’odio sul web, che di volta in volta prende di mira, con spaventosa puntualità, il personaggio del momento, quasi sempre donna, colpita sul punto debole (in questo caso la licenza media), colta in un momento di possibile imbarazzo (l’abito sgargiante) e umiliata sul piano fisico. Quest’ultimo tipo di attacco ha un nome preciso. Si chiama body-shaming, una forma particolarmente pesante di bullismo che “colpisce l’aspetto fisico” ma – come spiegato proprio in questi giorni da Michela Murgia con un post diventato virale su Facebook – “mira in realtà ad annichilire lo spirito”. Già, ma se questo era l’obiettivo degli odiatori, non hanno capito bene chi è Teresa Bellanova da Ceglie Messapica. Che avrà pure la terza media, ma ha fatto più lei nella sua vita per questo Paese di tutti gli esponenti della Lega messi insieme negli ultimi 30 anni. Ha visto più sofferenza lei di quanta qualunque ministro, deputato o senatore abbia dovuto toccare, subire, sfiorare o anche solo immaginare. Ed è un peccato. La storia di Teresa Bellanova Mentre Salvini ancora gattonava e la Meloni neanche era stata concepita, a 16 anni Teresa si spaccava la schiena come bracciante sotto 50 gradi al sole nella provincia barese. Non c’era tempo per studiare. Non c’erano soldi. Non c’era altro che terra. E, quando ha toccato con mano la condizione drammatica dei lavoratori a chiamata, quando la parola migrante neanche esisteva o era solo un participio presente, quando ha sentito sulla propria pelle cosa significava essere donna e operaia alla fine degli anni ‘70 sotto un padrone maschio per poche lire e un sudore infinito, a 20 anni Teresa ha capito che doveva diventare sindacalista. Come coordinatrice delle donne Federbraccianti, ha girato in lungo e in largo la Puglia per combattere il caporalato, senza mai smettere di lavorare. Negli anni in cui i diritti del lavoro cominciavano a cadere uno dopo l’altro, ha combattuto in trincea nel sindacato, con ruoli via via più di responsabilità, sempre aspettando il proprio turno, senza mai scalciare o saltare una tappa, sempre nel suo Meridione, a cui ha dato tutto. E, nella seconda parte della sua vita, ha deciso di prestare alla politica i tre decenni di esperienza accumulata. Anche qui facendo la gavetta, prima coi Ds, poi alla Camera con l’Ulivo, infine col Pd come sottosegretaria e viceministra al Lavoro sotto i governi Renzi e Gentiloni, dove ha visto passare davanti i dossier più delicati della storia recente, mettendoci sempre la faccia e tavolta prendendosi i fischi, come all’Ilva di Taranto, sempre sapendo che non esistono risposte facili a problemi di una complessità inaudita. Chiunque abbia avuto a che fare con lei o conosca la sua storia, non può che avere un tremendo rispetto per questa donna di 61 anni che, dopo aver respirato terra e ingoiato fango per due terzi della sua esistenza, ha avuto in sorte di diventare ministro. Ministro dell’Agricoltura. Sì, proprio lei, con la sua terza media. Lei che avrebbe potuto prendersela col mondo, scendere in piazza insieme ad altri milioni di persone e urlare contro la casta, prendersela coi poteri forti, risolvere tutto con un “vaffa”, avrebbe potuto vomitare bile contro chi ha avuto il privilegio di studiare. Ma sarebbe stato facile. Sarebbe stato comodo. E Teresa la parola facile non sa neppure cosa significhi. (...) Ma noi la storia di Teresa Bellanova la conosciamo perfettamente, è un manuale vivente di come si sta al mondo pur senza mezzi, soldi, né studio. È un monumento all’intelligenza e alla caparbietà umana e femminile, una di quelle storie che, in un paese appena più decente di questo, insegneremmo nelle scuole, mentre qui da noi viene messa sotto processo dal tribunale del popolo. In un momento storico in cui la competenza, la capacità e il merito sono diventati qualcosa di cui vergognarci, le lotte di Teresa e la sua dedizione alla causa degli ultimi e dei senza voce (di cui per anni ha fatto parte) sono un patrimonio inestimabile da difendere e da salvare. Oggi, per fortuna, gli italiani non sono più costretti a vivere vite come quella di Teresa, avendo passato il testimone ai nuovi ultimi di oggi, i migranti che raccolgono pomodori sotto il sole cocente per 4 euro l’ora, sfruttati da caporali che, un tempo, forse erano al loro posto. E in questa umanità perduta, in quelle storie di dolore e immigrazione, se andassimo a cercare, troveremo dieci, cento Terese che, senza una laurea e nessun pezzo di carta in mano, saranno forse i ministri di domani. Io a governarmi voglio, anzi, pretendo, persone competenti e capaci. E nessuno lo è più di Teresa nel suo campo. E lo è paradossalmente proprio perché non ha potuto studiare. Chi, come me, crede nel valore profondo del merito oggi fa gli auguri di buon lavoro a questa donna meravigliosa e ringrazia se esistono ancora persone come Teresa che hanno voglia di dedicarsi alla cosa pubblica, sfidando ipocrisie e insulti sessisti, con un meraviglioso abito blu Klein sbattuto in faccia agli hater con un sorriso al momento del giuramento, mentre ovunque siamo circondati da arroganti signor nessuno, magari plurilaureati, che non sanno cosa sia il lavoro, la dignità, il rispetto. Non so se Teresa Bellanova sarà un buono o un cattivo ministro dell’Agricoltura. So che non c’è oggi in Italia uomo o donna che meriti di sedere su quella poltrona più di lei. E di questi tempi, credetemi, è già un miracolo.
