Overall:

This is another one that I have a mix of feelings for...on one hand I DO love their dynamic a lot; Rouge and Knuckles competing since BOTH are treasure hunters, Rouge constantly teasing/flirting with him, Knuckles surprising her with being a romantic/gentlemen at times, and the back and forth. Even though Rouge CAN get under his skin at times and knows what makes him tick...he does care about her and her well-being and DOES trust her enough that she won’t actually take the Master Emerald (after all he has let her ‘watch it’ a few times). The ONLY real issues is the difference in age...by all accounts Rouge is an adult (canonically 18), which makes it feel weird at times...granted I don’t THINK the romance angle is bad since there’s no sexual connotation in play (which I think a LOT of people misunderstand when it comes to ships at times).

But if we take age out of the dynamic...nah, I do be loving them either as close platonic pals or that cute dynamic couple.

Knuckles x J.E.T (Knuxjet)

Overall:

I mean, what do you want me to say? I’ve had this ship since back when Sonic X first appeared on the Fox Box (before it was 4!Kids SO ya know how old I fucking am) when I first created J.E.T and before I knew much more from the franchise outside the original games and Sonic Underground. So, save to say I do ADORE my own trashy ship with all my heart and I think they are adorable to boot.

Overall:

Honestly? This was a ship till recently I NEVER gave much thought to...I did always enjoy their dynamics as friends and their rivalry (especially considering Knuckles was the OG rival to Sonic) BUT since it’s been brought to my attention? I absolutely think they can work well on BOTH fronts and I am kind of a sucker for friends to lovers...and these two dorks would be terrible at admitting those feelings to one another/doesn’t want to ruin being friends cause they think the other just likes them as a friend/what if things don’t work out.

In short, these idiots stole my heart...and I love them in whatever dynamic they have.
