It’s it me or I find it funny how Tang is supposed to be this big JTTW nerd but he just over looks everyone who was originally in the JTTW and acts like he doesn’t know what they did and/or how the pilgrims defeated them

Another character who does this is MK he is supposed to be this “monkey king fanboy” who has a written a whole biography about him and when a reference is made to him ex:when Macaque said “ready to become king of the monkeys” when they were about to go through the water fall,Mk did not get the reference

Yeah, yeah, we all talk about this moment. But I think we need to talk more about how Macaque came to a party he wasn't invited to, JUST to see Wukong. And not like, to be bitter or anything. No, he just sat down next to him and hung out.

Despite being genuinely confident, Macaque is shown to be a reserved person throughout the show (only really talking to Wukong when he was part of the Brotherhood, not really talking when making a plan, sitting out with Nezha when Wukong was training the Monkie Kids) so the fact that he willingly went to a loud beach party with like 15 people there (I don't feel like counting the actual number) just to sit with Wukong brings me joy.
