The final one and red rep is Courtney.

I REALLY like how this one turned out, in part because of it looks, and int part because of hum much the pose and the sparkles from the teleportation makes her pop out.

I also gave her her beach outfit from "Trust me" because It's really underapreciated, and it's summer so why not?

This has been a blast honestly, I didn't expect to be able to do it without missing a day, but im glad I managed to pull this out.

It has it's ups and it's downs but im really proud of the final product.

Some of these are caracters I've been meaning to draw for a while so that's another positive.

"Oh hey! Armour Trims are in the game now!", or: How I Learned to Stop Waiting and Start Actually Using the Goddamn Snapshots.

Ok so you know how there's a new 1.20 snapshot thing out? Yeah, here's a post showcasing it.

First off, here's how they work;

The slot on the left (which is animated in-game, fading between the outline of a Smithing Template and a Netherite Upgrade) is for inserting... well, Smithing Templates and Netherite Upgrades, the middle-slot (which gains another animated icon when the first slot is filled; the former cycles between different slot-icons, while the latter cycles between various tools and armour-slots) is for tools, weapons and/or armour, and the third slot (cycles through the outlines of various rare materials) is where the nice materials go. The armour-stand on the right displays a preview of your item, but unfortunately doesn't allow you to rotate it.

The materials that can be used as trims are:

Nether Quartz

Amethyst Shards

Netherite Ingots

Copper Ingots

Iron Ingots

Gold Ingots

Diamonds

Redstone Dust

Lapis Lazuli

Emeralds

They can be applied to any armour-type except Leather, for obvious reasons (although I'm guessing you can probably apply trims to Leather using commands).

Anyway, let's look at all those designs!

Sentry

Very generic, but it makes sense since it's the first one listed and it looks kinda like the Trimmed Armour inventory texture.

Dune

Nice design; somehow feels appropriately deserty. The stomach-pattern makes me think of the trap-floor in Desert Temples.

Coast

Ehhh... again, kinda generic, but it probably goes well with other trim designs.

Wild

See above.

Ward

This design made me realise the design on Chiselled Deepslate is meant to be a silhouette of the Warden's head. I like it!

Eye

Haha, eyebrow helmet... the eye-chest is very cool, gotta love character-designs with facial features in the wrong place. Also I'm biased because it has Big Cyclops Energy™.

Vex

Big eyebrows! I also like the more "formal" design down the front.

Tide

If you used Lapis on Diamond for the colours, you could make some pretty-decent Prismarine Armour for a multiplayer server or Adventure map.

Snout

Frogge-eye helmet. Yes.

Rib

Looks bad as a full set, but would make a great accent-pattern for a more distinctive set. Netherite on Iron is basically white-tiger, and the opposite is zebra.

Tower

The trim on the sleeves and boots makes me think of pizza and racing, although it could just be the colours I'm using.

And now, a thing I don't like.

Ok so you know how, when you want to upgrade your Diamond stuff, you put it on a Smithing Table and merge it with a Netherite Ingot? Yeah, not any more. This is how it'll work in 1.20:

See that item in the first slot? That is a Netherite Upgrade. Now, I don't know how how it'll be found, so it could be easy to obtain, but adding another step just kinda overcomplicates it. Not only that, but the process consumes the upgrade, so if it is rare/hard to craft/only findable in chests, it'll be annoying to make a full set of Netherite gear.

But aside from that I'm really excited!

Voretober Day 8: Sudden

Feat. @benjaminthewolf’s OCs, Chester and Sara.

Chester and his wife, Sara, are on their way to a fancy restaurant for their date night. Of course, they’re doing their best to keep their eyes away from the blood moon. There’s a legend in Arkanaus that explains the dangers of the blood moon and how it turns beings who caught a glimpse of its crimson glow into dark, monstrous demons.

Thankfully, the phoenix-winged squirrel couple entrusted Spiritfang and Starlight Lapis to stay at the treehouse and look after their children while they’re away. They even informed them that unless they have sunglasses and an umbrella, they will NOT to go outside while the blood moon is out.

As for Chester and Sara, they were careful to avoid looking at the blood moon during their evening stroll; he didn’t want his wife or himself to become bloodthirsty beasts before they made to the restaurant and ruining their night as a result.

Suddenly, out of the blue (or red), Sara is snatched by a black, slimy tentacle, lifting her up from the ground. Chester does his best to reach out to her as a form of saving her, but the tentacle grabbed him as well. Then, faster than eyesight, they’re brought into a cave with sharp stones and menacing atmosphere. Putting two and two together, Chester and Sara realized that they’re inside of a monster’s mouth. They tried to escape their doom, but they failed as the demon gulped them into its belly. Once they have arrived at the stomach, Chester begins to give his wife a comforting embrace to ease her fear of being eaten alive. “Did that creature swallowed us? Why would they do this?!” Sara sniffled to her darling husband.

That’s because you two are easier to catch than I thought.

“WHAT?! WHO SAID THAT?!” Chester yelled, questioning the female voice. “What? You didn’t remember the simpleminded Lazuli gem?” the voice asked Chester, who’s beginning to tremble and wince.

“S… Star…?” he murmured, which is Starlight Lapis’ nickname. “This can’t be happening…” Sara added, still quivering in her husband’s arms.

Earlier that sundown, Spiritfang suggested that they should order pizza for Aura, Einstein, and Lucky. Star agrees with him and she then tells them that she’ll go to the store to pick up some cake for dessert. Spiritfang disagrees with that idea, telling her that she needs to avoid the blood moon’s crimson light. Star reassures him that she’ll bring an umbrella with her during the night.

After a brief discussion, Spiritfang agrees to Star’s request and allows her to go outside with an umbrella. Then, Starlight Lapis goes to the store to pick up the cake. She notices that the wind is blowing, more so than expected. The wind blows so hard that the umbrella flew out of her right hand and that’s where she made a really big mistake. She looked at the blood moon’s light and turns into her dark, rebellious alter ego, Midnight Lazuli.

But there’s no need to worry, my dears. I’m not going to hurt you. I’m going to keep you two in there until morning, just like Starlight Lapis would do for her dearest friends.

Hearing those tranquility in her voice, Chester and Sara’s fear has settled down and they lie upon the lavender stomach wall. Their date night may have been ruined, but at least Star will keep them company.

Hey there! It's Pizza Time! (Pizza Tower Time!)

Noisette + Garish Cook Peppino join as the Pink rep.

I really like the Noisette puppet doodle of the canceled Noisette Cafe mechanic and I really wanted to draw it, I also added Peppino in the last moment because I realized I had too much empty space.

I had a lot of fun with the Puppet drawing, I really enjoyed coming up with plazes to put the diferent stitches.

I also really like how peppino came out, he looks so goofy.

World-renowned Writers and Cliffside Cows

Hi everyone! I’m back after another exhilarating week in Ireland. Monday was my 19th birthday so some of my friends surprised me with a chocolate cake from Tesco. The cake was surprisingly good considering it was from a supermarket. The next day we went on a quick little field trip to the National Library of Ireland. Wednesday and Friday were spent at the basketball court after classes as per usual. Saturday consisted of a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway followed by a long train ride home and some drinks in Dublin. Today we are just going to order pizza, stay in, and play some card games since the buses are running on a weird schedule because of a marathon going on today.

National Library of Ireland

After our Modern Irish History lecture on Tuesday, we were able to visit the National Library of Ireland. At the museum, we explored two main exhibits featuring two Irishmen that won the Nobel Prize in Literature. The first exhibit that we walked through featured Seamus Heaney. We learned that Seamus Heaney came from a predominantly farming family and was one of the first people in his family to pursue a career in poetry. Before reaching the second exhibit, we were shown an insane Lego replica of the library that took around five years to be completed.

The second exhibit featured W. B. Yeats who heavily influenced Seamus Heaney’s works. In this exhibit, we learned quite a few interesting facts about the Yeats family. First of all, we learned that W. B. Yeats proposed to a woman named Maud Gonne a total of five times and was rejected every time. After all of these rejections, he decided to propose to Maud Gonne’s daughter, Isuelt Gonne, who also rejected him. In addition to this, we learned that W. B. Yeats used to create visionary experiences with Tattwa cards. These cards along with a carved piece of lapis lazuli that was gifted to Yeats were some of the items on display at the exhibit. The piece of carved lapis lazuli was the topic of one of Yeats’ more famous poems.

The Cliffs of Moher

My Saturday morning began at 6am in order to not be late for the bus. The bus took us from Dublin all the way to Galway on the western coast of Ireland. Our first stop was at the Barack Obama plaza. The plaza was named after Barack Obama after he visited Ireland in 2011.

Our next stop after the plaza was at the Cliffs of Moher. The views from the cliffs were surreal. During our visit, we met a pigeon that let us get astonishingly close to it and snap a ton of photos.

The pigeon wasn’t the only cool animal we met at the cliffs. As soon as we arrived, we spotted cows roaming the emerald green pastures all around us. When we were walking on one of the trails, we were actually able to get within arms reach of one of the cows.

On the main trail through the cliffs, there was a historic tower that we were able to climb to the top off.

After walking around the cliffs for a few hours, I worked up quite an appetite so I decided to stop for a quick snack on the trail.

After experiencing the cliffs, we ate actual food at McGann’s Pub in Doolin. We were seated outside in a beautiful garden-like area next to a lovely little creek. Most of the people around me ordered the fish and chips meal and we all highly recommend it, but a few other people said the beef stew was also amazing.

Galway

After eating lunch, we ventured off to Galway on the western coast of Ireland. While we were in Galway we ate dinner at The King’s Head Bistro. Three of my friends and I ordered the Kings Head Blood Red Ale. We all agreed that it was probably the worst tasting drink that we’d ever had. Only one of us was able to finish our ale by the time we left. The fish and chips that I had was extremely good though so it kind of made up for the disgusting ale.

Saturday Night

Instead of taking the bus back to Dublin, we decided to stay in Galway and take a train back to Dublin a few hours later. We all bought our train tickets the day before so we wouldn’t have to stress about getting them when we got to the train station, but this somehow came back to bite us. As soon as we got in line to board the train we realized the train only had carts A, B, C, and D. However the seats listed on our tickets were in cart E. Cart E was nonexistent. One of the workers on the train basically just said good luck when we asked him what we should do. In the end, most of us had to either stand or sit in the hallway between carts until some actual seats opened up after a few stops. Once we found seats, we played BS and spoons with a deck of cards we had for the rest of the two and a half hour train ride across Ireland. After arriving in Dublin a little after 10pm, we strolled down to the Silver Penny Pub for a few drinks to end off the night.
