What I don’t get is how some people will claim to defend minorities and condemn Christianity (or Catholicism specifically) when 38% of all Catholics are Latino and 77% of Latinos are Christian; 79% of blacks (or African-Americans take your pick) are christians (mainly baptist affiliated at 35%)
And even still; Martin Luther King Jr was a baptist minister.
Frederick Douglass was a preacher.
Pick one. Condemn organized religion or continue to pretend like you represent an entire race.

New York Theological Seminary names female megachurch leader as president, a first in 119 years
(CP) – The Rev. LaKeesha Walrond, the executive pastor of the 10,000-member First Corinthian Baptist Church in Harlem, has been named as the first female president of the 119-year-old New York Theological Seminary. She will also be the 12th president of the seminary when she steps into the role on June 3. “My hope is to work collaboratively with the faculty, staff, students and board members to make NYTS a world-renowned theological institution for preparing students for urban ministry,” Walrond said in a statement.
