And now for a complete change of pace:
Yeah, sorry to disappoint you all but for once I actually quite like this angel girl (even though it’s actually the same one from the previous album, in fact she was already drawn with a dumb face like this on their website). Her expressions on the xfd video make her quite endearing. She looks goofy, like she’d actually laugh if you cracked a joke (I mean, she’d laugh a few minutes afterwards when she finally gets it, but still). I for one hope they keep this type of deformed faces, it’s just cute. Even the little fairy with her does faces too!
As for the album, well imma be honest: While Rigel was always a fantasy group with magic and stuff it still feels weird to hear them talk about swords and dragons and dinosaurs. They have a very different set of words on this album for sure. The standout track for me is probably one of the instrumental ones, L'Élan, I guess vocals can’t win all the time. Anyway, lyrics down below and see you all next time.

Once again, the real mvp here is Suzuoka Hitsuji for hooking me up with the good stuff (that is: jp lyrics for the songs).
Also quite unusual for me but here’s a TL note: I refer to it as a dragon but yokuryuu would normally translate into pterosaur, I just think the word looks so weird I could not bring myself to throw it into the text, but I mean, it is what it is. We don’t exactly see a picture of the girl riding a pterodactyl so given that regular dragons are already in the work, I might as well take the liberty, go ahead and cancel me on twitter.
Also, from the website: Yes it’s the same Lyla from last time, but the little fairy next to her is called Aludra, they actually met in the previous album. She’s a fairy of memories and they are besties. As you’ve already inferred in this album they view/visit the epic memory of a cloud planet (called Nebeskazemlja) that met with tragedy, and our little Lyla is stuck with the choice of whether to interfere or remain an impartial observer as she was supposed to. Oh what a pickle.
