Y'Know what the weirdest part about Henshin Ninja Arashi, is that an EXTREMELY SIMILAR show called Kaiketsu Lion-Maru premiered a week BEFORE Arashi did....& as far as I'm able to discern seems to be alot more fondly remembered than Arashi? Only the first 14 episodes of it are subbed (& rather roughly so by the subber's own admission) so I dunno the full details.
similar to Ultraman but in reverse; it was technically preceded by Ambassador Magma as the first giant hero show by a few weeks (but Ultraman was the first in colour and also infinitely more popular)

The thing that sucks about Kaiketsu Lion-Maru only being subtitled up until episode 14 is that Jonosuke/Tiger Joe is the show’s most interesting character but he doesn’t show up until episode 27.
