I feel Jess's behaviour isn't black or white.

Both sides are correct.

Jess festhised gay men in her stories, queerbaited us, whitewashed her own characters from time to time(sometimes it's shaders, sometimes it's clearly her) and wrote racist plot lines and characters.

I do not agree with the claim she hasn't tried to better herself. Kc has gotten a backstory and a reason for her behaviour aswell as a real name "Nana ashida". And has stopped with the speech and honorifics. That's a clear sign of change.

Gay characters got more and more prominent in her more recent research up until the cocomau era. With characters like Ava's two gay dads. Which are an example of great representation.

The art that she uses, used to be way more whitewashed. But has changed to represent the skintones better recently. Although many shorts still look whitewashed. There's a clear effort of change. The whitewashing instances are also sometimes because of shaders (like Travis) and sometimes because of the genuine lightening of the skintones (like Zenix and Brian)

She also did normalise a messed up age gap. But then again, she was victim of this age gap herself and likely doesn't realise it being bad. That doesn't take away from the impact it had. Especially in the Minecraft roleplay community.

What I am trying to say, is that the tiktoks talking about how their childhood creators got ruined and mention Aphmau in the same sentence as groomers, pedophiles and abusers. Are too harsh in my opinion, aswell as the enormous hate on the YouTube awards things.

But I do believe Jess to have spread harmful messages, and I believe her not to be some innocent angel.

A lot of her more problematic writing choices can be blamed on all the anime she watches. However I don't see this as an excuse.

People need to stop thinking black and white. Not everyone is all good or all bad.

I don't support Jess. But I don't think her name should be mentioned next to James Charles either.

I don't believe the things Jess did to be irredeemable. Many things are just horribly ignorant(that doesn't take away from the impact), honestly. But I do believe she has an incredibly long way to go before I'd claim myself to be a 'Jess supporter'.

I suddenly remembered a personal conversation that made me smile:

Some years ago (pre-megxit), when MEgain began her reign of terror in the BRF, I used her as a cautionary tale in a conversation with an owner of the KC Chiefs Football Team.

In no uncertain terms, I made it clear that MEgain is a hooker who seduced her way into the BRF.

I warned him to keep his young, handsome, intelligent, wealthy sons away from invitations to trap them into elite "social clubs" like Yacht week/Soho House, etc.

He said, "great...something else for me to worry about." To which I replied, "you should be worried about this!!"

Sparry blames his family for silently blocking The Meghans brand ambassador contracts. He blames social media and the comments sections for ruining their reputations. All the while, he's blithely unaware that it is their own international bad behavior and mistreatment of innocents that sours negotiations and damaged his BRF affiliated reputation.

I had forgotten all about my little conversation until just a moment ago! I'm a mere plebe, and yet that 1 brief warning to a person of influence represents the thousands, maybe millions of warnings heard round the world about the fraudulent couple.

They MARKLED themselves a long time ago and no amount of "awards" or celebrity connections can change all the hurt and pain they've inflicted upon innocent people all over the world.

The good people already know about them, and ultimately they will reap what they've sown.

Selfish time: I think I need Trav at the Grammys with Taylor more than having him back in the Super Bowl. (With the way things fall, he prob wouldn’t be able to attend Grammys if KC makes the SB, bc of strict practice lead-up.) Does this make me awful or clear-sighted

It’s just too short-sighted. He only has a few more years of football at most. Awards are just awards and artists win them at all ages, but his competing at this level for championships is a limited window. And realistically, if she wins another Grammy, he will like a post or maybe even say more and everyone’s ovaries will be overjoyed.

And I get the sense the moment his offseason hits this year, (hopefully after Super Bowl) you‘ll be so fed, you’ll grow tired of being fed.

I foresee the most epic all-time Taylor red carpet appearances (with Travis on her arm or a few feet behind her) on March 11 (Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, then May 6 (MET Gala). These are feasible with Taylor tour schedule (she plays Singapore March 10, but loses a day as she crosses international dateline flying eastward….She plays France May 9). Then you may get Travis and Taylor making a Paris/Milan fashion week appearance.

If he wins SB, then there’s no doubt SNL has him back as host (he hosted March 9 last year, but this year he could wait to April to have time where Taylor could at least be there)…..and even if he doesn’t win SB , he did well enough to earn another SNL invite, but it helps if he wins.

1. KC spent less than 15 min with the son who flew 20hrs to see him but "The King and Prince William have been holding secret one-on-one talks at Sandringham, as Charles continues his recovery from ongoing cancer treatment."

They are making it known they *have been* meeting together BTS about this whole kerfuffle. We could call it a mini Sandringham Summit.

2. We're told"the family have also spent time with the King, who has been staying at his nearby Sandringham estate during the latter half of the week and weekends in between travelling back to London for weekly cancer treatment."

Not just William or William and the children but the whole Wales family. So while H is saying he's called Pa, Pa is telling us The Wales have spent more than 15 min with him while he and C are healing. 😉

3. Lastly, their answer to H's offer - "Royal sources confirmed the King and his heir had met in private to discuss future plans, amid talks of William taking on potential extra duties following the King's cancer diagnosis. One source said: 'The Prince of Wales has not been asked to step in or step up. but would of course be willing to take on extra engagements if required."'

Basically, this is a thanks for the offer, troublemaker, but my heir will handle things, if need be. 👑

In his continuing campaign to bring the press to account for phone hacking, the Duke of Sussex may succeed where Leveson’s inquiry failed

In its defence of the civil court action brought by Prince Harry, Mirror Group Newspapers argued to the death that there was not a shred of evidence to support the Duke of Sussex’s claims of a lifetime of illegal information gathering and phone hacking. “Zilch, zero, nil, de nada, niente, nothing,” Andrew Green KC, the newspapers’ barrister, insisted in summing up. Piers Morgan, Mirror editor for much of the period in question, reiterated that denial – and took the opportunity to double down on his vindictive and blatantly self-serving assault on Harry’s reputation – in a prepared statement for the press on his doorstep on Friday. The damning 386-page judgment of Mr Justice Fancourt, published earlier that morning, tells a very different story, however.

In supporting Harry’s claims, and awarding him £140,600 in damages, it provides an exhaustive catalogue of evidence that “extensive and habitual” unlawful practices went on over a longer period at the Mirror than previously established; that the use of off-the-books private investigators and blaggers and hackers to capture personal details of Harry and his circle – and scores of other high-profile targets – was endemic at the Mirror’s three national titles from 1998 to 2011.

One dangerous consequence of these latest revelations has been renewed calls for legislative oversight of press freedom

The judgment also makes plain that the Mirror Group’s deletion of phone records and email evidence from the period, and the decision not to call senior editorial staff, including Morgan, to give evidence, must be understood as part of an ongoing culture of cover-up. What went on, the judge told the court, “was concealed from the board, from parliament in 2007 and 2011, from the Leveson inquiry, from shareholders and from the public for years”. Public trust in news, already serially undermined by political and commercial attacks, is again the victim of that denialism. One dangerous consequence of these latest revelations has been renewed calls for legislative oversight of press freedom, which a democracy must always resist.

Despite its denials, Mirror Group has paid out £100m to other litigants in out-of-court settlements. A further raft of cases will now no doubt follow. A previous test case brought by the Coronation Street actress Shobna Gulati established that, even in the absence of a full paper trail, it was clear the illegal practices were “generic” in the papers’ newsrooms from 2001 to 2006. In Mr Justice Fancourt’s assessment, the “generic” period could now extend between 1998 and 2011 – beyond both the arrest and conviction of the News of the World journalist Clive Goodman for similar practices in 2006, and – shockingly – Lord Leveson’s subsequent inquiry into the press.

When Harry first announced, five years ago, that he would make it his “life’s work” to seek justice for his family’s treatment by the tabloids, it was characterised – invariably in those same papers – as a fool’s errand. What his mission might now prove to be, however, is a half-workable replacement for the planned second phase of the Leveson inquiry, which was shamefully abandoned by Matt Hancock as culture secretary in 2018. That phase was due to examine the full extent of unlawful practice across the British press, the ways in which journalistic privileges designed, in all our interests, to hold the powerful and criminal to account in extremis, had been cynically “hijacked” to trade, at an industrial scale, in royal gossip and celebrity private lives.

Harry and others will bring further cases against Associated Newspapers’ Daily Mail and Rupert Murdoch’s Sun. It is to be hoped that the disclosure and defence of those actions may serve finally to establish the exact extent and limits of a culture that has been profoundly damaging to journalistic integrity and to British public life. In their notably scant reports of the judgment – a rare royal story in which they apparently have very little curiosity – neither paper referenced those forthcoming actions. No doubt, however, until the full truth is told, lawyers for both groups will continue to be exercised by little else.

45 B-47s took off on a bomb run exercise from Little Rock Air Force Base to the United Kingdom. Only one B 47 made it across the Atlantic Ocean; all the rest returned to the United States. Butch’s first flight over the Atlantic Ocean, He was prepared to follow. He quickly had to learn how to lead.

Lt. Richard “Butch” Sheffield navigated his B-47 across the Atlantic Ocean to the United Kingdom. (the following are in his own words).

Leading the B 47 is across the Atlantic Ocean for the first time. First flight to England 1956.

As we prepared to fly to the UK, my aircraft and crew were to be the fifth aircraft in a flight of five. I believe that because I was the lowest-ranking navigator with the least experience, they did not want me to have to navigate the Atlantic as lead or alone.

We took off from Little Rock, all forty-five B-47s, and flew up to Northern New York State to refuel from KC-97 tankers flying at fifteen thousand feet. We were at thirty-five-thousand feet. Tankers put out a radar signal that we could identify on our radar screen. Each set of tankers, nine different sets, put signals that were almost alike but not. I saw our signal and told the aircraft commander (AC). He relayed to the lead aircraft that we had the tankers that we were to refuel with, and they didn’t believe him.

As we overflew them, we went over twice as fast and twenty thousand feet above them. My AC asked me if I was sure, and I said yes. He then told the lead, you are going to miss them; they are right below us now. Once again, they didn’t believe him, or I guess they didn’t believe that a Lieutenant could find the tankers from among the many radar signals.

My AC asked me for a heading for the tankers and left the formation. We rendezvoused with our tankers and took on our fuel. After refueling (we could not use the radios while refueling), the pilots asked for our location, and I gave it to them. They called the rest of the flight and told them where the tankers were at that time; by then, they were far away from the tankers.

I really didn’t know what we were going to do next, then the AC said; give me a heading for the UK. Now, I knew we were going to the UK alone, and I was going to navigate the North Atlantic in the middle of the winter, all by myself. I broke into a cold sweat; I was not prepared to do it.

Normally, the fifth aircraft in a flight of five just station keeps (keeps other aircraft on the radar) on the other aircraft in front of them, and the navigator/copilot team doesn’t shoot stars.

The lead navigator would do his planning by pre-computing the star shots on the ground the day before the flight. Now, I had to do the star computations in the small area and dim light of the cockpit. All across the Atlantic, I shot one star after another. My copilot, Mac McCraken, was young and eager, like me. The older World War Two copilots would not have done it. This was hard work, (navigation by shooting stars) and we never stopped until I saw the UK lands on the radar. WE HAD MADE IT.

The following day, we were all told to report to see the Squadron Commander in his Office. This always meant trouble or an award. When we arrived, the AC was told to go in alone; Mac and I waited outside the door. We heard the Commander hollering all over the building, he was very mad that we had left the formation and went it alone.

When the AC came out, he was smiling. He said the Squadron Commander was just mad that the others were still back in the US, and they had never found the tankers and landed in North Eastern United States!

He said, I told him, we are here, and they are back in the US, so who goofed up?

Dad was only 23 when navigated across the Atlantic ocean alone. He was selected to be one the first navigators for the new B-58 a few years later. He was first RSO was selected for the SR 71 program. Dad, was told to follow the older more experienced navigators, but he ended up having to lead and quickly learn to be good at it.

Meanwhile the Royal Family have such fabulous engagements this week. The Prince’s Trust Awards, the launch of 50 Coronation libraries for kids, Garden parties, KC hanging out with David Beckham and Stanley Tucci etc. I can’t be bothered with US drama with the only Royals I care about are living their best lives 😁

Yeah, well, I live in the US, so it was all over US media yesterday and into today.

But Harry's wife managed to piss off much of the US media, which is centered in NYC and why they saw through her bullshit.
