This is a weird couple the devil has made surface recently. I'm talking about the couple in this Instagram post linked to above. Their names are Joshua Jackson and Jodie Smith-Turner. Yesterday I was told in my mind that the devil made the couple surface because it looked like he was not looking believable as interracial couples like this one and he wanted to make such pairings look like they could be possible to exist, ie look believable and so he made up this couple.

My soulmates and I think these two people look like they are both too different from each other to really be a couple. My soulmates and I think the devil is trying to express this with this couple and how they look. In other words, we think the devil is trying to express that same race couples look more natural and likely to exist than interracial couples.

"I think he's trying to say that Marla, but at the same time act like they aren't not possible to be," my soulmates said in my mind as the the thing that represents all of my soulmates in my mind.

My comment on this post was somewhat unrelated to the post itself and more related to what I think about comments on Instagram posts. Here next is my comment on this post: I often like negative or critical comments. It just brings a different tone to the moment or post or something because it seems all the posts on Instagram are really there for the positive comments. It's like a person disagreeing with something or criticizing something is not supposed to exist. But then tada!!! Here they are: people not possible to exist.

But yet people praise Tabitha Brown for saving a man. He clearly didn’t look satisfied and men get their value from providing and protecting. Well most men do.

Sem Remorso - 2021 (Amazon Prime)

 Sucesso de crítica e público, “Sem Remorso” estreou recentemente na plataforma Amazon Prime Video.  Estrelando Michael B. Jordan como John Kelly, o longa tem muita ação, tiroteio e um leve suspense.

 John é um oficial de elite da Marinha, que busca vingança após o assassinato de sua esposa grávida.  Durante a caçada, há descoberta de uma conspiração criminosa e guerra entre países inimigos.  O elenco conta também com Jodie Turner-Smith, Jamie Bell e Guy Pearce.  A direção é de Stefano Sollima.

 A trama prende a atenção, o enredo é consistente e o público torce pelo mocinho.  História um pouco previsível, porém segura e empolgante.  Final esperado, porém com provável gancho para uma parte dois.  Na plataforma Amazon, o filme é um dos mais vistos durante semanas.  Vale a pena assistir.

Queen & Slim!!!

Queen and slim is as good as I thought it would be. Truly had a great time watching this from beginning to almost end, very entertaining. Both characters were very well written as well as played. Slim played by Daniel Kaluuya and Queen played by JodieTurner-Smith both beautiful actors who created their own world. I thought it was going to be more about race and police brutality which I have to say I was not particularly excited about. Only because those stories seem to anger me more than anything. Starting this film I thought I was gonna get protests and riots and life on the run which I definitely did get, but I also got a beautifully tragic love story that made me care deeply about these characters to which I had to eventually mourn their unnecessary deaths. I think I speak for a lot of black people when I say I hate watching movies where the whole plot is a black person(s) being senselessly killed, especially right now. The reason being that when I watch them it’s real life the movie may end but I’m still black at the end of the day so this tragic story could be mine, or anyone of my family members. One of the lines at the beginning really stood out to me, “How come black people have to be excellent”. This got me because in the black community black excellence is something you hear all the time. It's what is taught to us from the youngest age because if you’re not excellent then you’re just black and that’s isn’t enough to be treated with dignity and respect. Our parents, teachers, mentors know this so it’s drilled into us to be excellent just so we have a chance. When the movie first came out in 2019 it was comparable to the infamous Bonnie and Clyde, but make it black. Which for obvious reasons makes some sense, but when race is brought into the story shifts a little from two criminals on the run to two black cop killers on the run. I love how the film never focused on the outside world; it was all about them, which I felt was an escape from how bad things really were. The funny thing is I created a false sense of hope that they were gonna be okay or least I was so distracted that I forgot this was black people against police and we were always gonna lose! But I have to say it felt nice to be distracted. Lena Waithe is an amazing writer, actor, producer I don’t know if she directs but she’s probably amazing at that as well. She is one of the few black creators whose work gets the publicity it deserves and I’m truly grateful to see representation on screen as well as behind the scenes. Melina Matsoukas is also a woman of color who is best known for her work as music video director. The way the film was shot was to me a little music video like not in a bad just gave me the vibes with all the shots from behind while using voice over. To me it was very pleasing visually and audible.

L Boogie Jr and I are back at it. This time we will look to review the movie Queen and Slim. I know, I know it came out a while ago however, we are just getting around to reviewing it.
