Appaloosa is Ed's 11th entry among my best 1,001 movies as an actor, after The Right Stuff, Places in the Heart, The Abyss, Glengarry Glen Ross, China Moon, Absolute Power, Pollack, A History of Violence, Game Change (as John McCain) and Frontera. They put a speaker pro tempre, Patrick McHenry, in place for a bit. Steve Scalise seemed a better choice but he wasn’t it. They went with Jim Jordan but there weren’t enough votes. In the end, the fifth choice was Mike Johnson. The Trumper who is an election denier and won’t even discuss the subject, was voted in. I can’t wait to see what his scandal is. Bill Maher commented, “Loves Jesus, hates democracy.” **And, what of this terrible Virginia Fox from N. Carolina who told the reporter to shut up when asking Johnson legitimate questions. Another democracy hater, no doubt.

The Sanderson sisters had to wait 300 years for a virgin to light the Black Flame candle in the first Hocus Pocus movie, but the sequel finally has an official release date.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Hocus Pocus 2 will come to Disney+ on September 30, 2022.

Production on the highly anticipated follow-up to the 1993 Halloween classic started in November.

WATCHING

So, strange story. I was always afraid to watch FOOTLOOSE because I was scared of being made fun of if anyone found out. I was already being bullied in school and made fun of for everything so I avoided everything.

It's on AMC so swear words are sanitized... but... I like it so far.

And besides I've always been late to stuff like this, even it was made a year before I was born. I'm not really a pop culture person. Or a dancing person for that matter. But it's a good flick.

Good story direction, moral to the story type thing. I like it.

So if you're afraid, or think "it's girly", or just never saw it for whatever reason, don't be self-conscious just watch it, you won't regret it.

Not what I expected. It had a lot of things I enjoyed. It was a good movie. I would get it even for keeps.

But It made me nervous with the whole "puritanical" town setting and the town being whipped up into a hysteria burning the books from the library. My nerves are shot lately and it just ticked all the wrong boxes and got me a but anxious. But that was the only thing that bugged me.

And that's not the movie's fault, it's just I'm under some pressures lately. But I had a 95% enjoyment rating on this baby.
